00:00A couple of days later, I pulled up to a gas station. I see him out of my rearview mirror.
00:06He gets out of his car and he goes and stands in between the back of my car and the
00:11front of his car.
00:12So he kind of almost boxed me in where there was no way for me to get out.
00:17And of course my body goes into panic mode.
00:21I grabbed that disposable camera and I started taking pictures of him over my shoulder.
00:27And this other man, dude, gets out of his car and I start screaming at him.
00:32And I said, listen, the guy that's me, he's on probation. He's standing right behind my car.
00:38And can you move up a little bit so I can get out?
00:41As I'm pulling out, he walks up to the guy and he's preventing him from following me.
00:49When I got home, I called my mom at that time and she said, get the pictures from the camera
00:53as soon as possible so that we can go to the police tomorrow.
00:56Again, the universe kind of took care of itself.
01:00He gets pulled over for a DWI and gets arrested.
01:05He was given 13 years in prison.
01:07That was kind of a, okay, I can start my journey of healing.
01:10He goes to prison.
01:12I'm healing. I'm going to counseling.
01:14I'm doing all the things that I need to do.
01:16I think the advice that I would give to women, you have to give yourself grace to find your circle,
01:25even if it's one or two people that you can talk to.
