00:10today has been really special.
00:11We obviously had a quick chat last week and he surprised us in Wakefield, he's a keen
00:18supporter of what we're trying to do and understands the value of community and how much the M&D
00:26community needs our support so he asked what was next.
00:30To receive an OBE is really special and surreal too, I mean I started triathlon as an eight
00:35year old, you know, running round fields in Yorkshire and swimming and you never expect
00:40that, well never mind, never expect, never could even imagine that I would receive an
00:45OBE for that so it's really special.
00:47Yeah it's fantastic to meet Prince William, he shared that he actually did a triathlon
00:52once and yeah and then we talked a lot about the importance of activity in our lives I
00:58guess, yeah saying that it's important to be consistent and and try and do something every
01:02day.
01:02I think the support from all around the M&D community has grown and got so much bigger and better.
01:10He started that so lots of other sports have got right behind the campaign and people with
01:16M&D feel loved, cared for and supported, however there's still one way to go so he'd be incredibly
01:25proud but he'd be pushing for more I'm sure.
