00:00To be continued...
00:39Edwina the Aardvark was a shy creature who thought that her looks were not her best feature.
00:46Her ears they stuck out like an elephants do and she hated her skin because it was blue.
00:54She read magazines full of models in color. That didn't help much, it just made her feel duller.
01:03She envied the lion, his beautiful mane. It made her own hair look terribly plain.
01:09Her eyes, she thought, were piggy and small and like a giraffe, she'd rather be tall.
01:16She wanted the legs of an elegant horse and dainty cute feet for dancing of course.
01:23She longed for eyelashes like a young calf and wanted her nose reduced by half.
01:31The list was enormous. She wrote it out twice. All of the things that she'd changed to look nice.
01:40Her mom came for dinner and found the list in a jar.
01:47She told her poor daughter, you're sweet as you are.
01:52But Edwina decided to do something drastic. She'd go to a doctor who'd change her with plastic.
02:00Don't try to stop me, the young aardvark said. Then she ran from the house with a bag on her
02:07head.
02:08Her mom grabbed her coat and ran after her daughter, but she jumped in a cab and mom never caught
02:13her.
02:16Edwina arrived at the doctor's door. Her appointment was set at half past four.
02:23She knew at once she was in the right place, for everyone else had a bag on their face.
02:31The waiting room was filled with creatures who, just like Edwina, hated their features.
02:38The elephant wanted a cute mouse's nose, instead of a trunk that looked like a hose.
02:45The giraffe thought her neck was terribly long, and was sure Mother Nature had got it all wrong.
02:59Each animal envied what each other had.
03:05And that made Edwina feel terribly sad.
03:09For she thought they all looked nice as they were.
03:15And the animals thought the same about her.
03:18Then the doctor called Edwina in.
03:23He sat at his desk, stroking his chin.
03:25What can I do for you? He said.
03:28And please, take that bag from off your head.
03:31The bag came off.
03:33She stood revealed.
03:36Their eyes they met.
03:38Their fates were sealed.
03:41They were in love from that day on.
03:45All thoughts of change completely gone.
03:49The doctor, you see, saw beauty within.
03:52The kind that lives beyond the skin.
03:56So now Edwina is no longer shy.
04:00She married the doctor, and can you guess why?
04:03It's true he was handsome.
04:05It's true he was dark.
04:06But what really swung it?
04:09He was an aardvark.
04:14Some creatures are great.
04:16Some creatures are small.
04:17Some animals thin.
04:19And some of them tall.
04:22Everyone's different.
04:24It's nothing to hide.
04:27For happiness comes from what's felt inside.
04:55And even there's a path inside.
04:56We'll be here to help you.
04:57Be helping you.
05:00Even if you're trying to use that on a level of your head.
05:01Get out.
