00:01A Neighbourhood Forum is calling for more blue plaques celebrating women in the square mile.
00:06The Barbican and Golden Lane Neighbourhood Forum says there are around 140 plaques across the
00:11city but only three honour women. It says there are more plaques for men called William than for
00:18women. The forum has suggested three plaques including one for Benazir Bhutto, Pakistan's
00:24first female Prime Minister who lived in the Barbican while in exile. Other proposals recognise
00:30a maternity hospital on Aldersgate Street and Eleanor Seaton Carr who ran a restaurant for
00:36low paid workers. The city corporation says inclusivity is a key aim.
