00:00Kemi has said that she'd love to get rid of inheritance tax but we're not going to do anything that
00:03we can't afford.
00:04That's why she's asked Andrew Griffiths, Shadow Chancellor, to see what's affordable and what's manageable.
00:09We don't like inheritance tax because people have been taxed on their money all through their lives
00:14and at the end of their lives we think that they should be able to give their money to their
00:17children and their grandchildren
00:18without the state taking it away.
00:20But what we've also announced today, what we've actually announced today,
00:23is the cut to the jobs tax that businesses have to pay to employ young people.
00:29We're halving that jobs tax so that more businesses can hire people who are under 25.
00:34Since Labour came to power we've seen youth unemployment go up and up and up.
00:38This is something that would counter that, would be good for business, would be good for young people, help us
00:42get growth.
