00:00Would you rather have a warmer winter, a snowier winter, or an overall wetter winter? Because
00:03depending on where you live, our long-range team's winter forecast has all three. That
00:08Super El Nino we've been talking about is expected to be one of the biggest drivers. Much of the
00:12Midwest, Great Lakes, and Northeast could be warmer with less snow overall, but the East Coast is not
00:17completely off the hook for a big storm, especially in the January-February time frame. And if you
00:21pick snowier, look west, where California and the Central and Southern Rockies could get feet of
00:26mountain snow. Great news for skiers and snowboarders, but some of those big storms
00:30could make getting to the resorts a bit difficult. Further south, repeated storms could make flooding
00:34one of the biggest impacts this winter, especially across the southeast. And our lead long-range
00:39forecaster says that could lead to some unusual winter records. We could be talking about record
00:43rainfall, record precipitation, and record maybe severe weather. So now that you know the forecast,
00:50which winter are you choosing?
