00:00Hello everyone, this is Lavrentia and Alena, and today I'm going to show you how to file
00:04for a cuticle adhesion. I'll actually show you, because I'm going to do it right here on this
00:08finger. By the way, this is Anton's finger, my husband. So, you know, you don't really feel
00:13sorry for your own husbands. Alright, jokes aside, actually he has this kind of cuticle that's really
00:18stuck on. It's very hard to work with. And when I do his manicure, well, at least on one finger,
00:24this kind of thing always happens. So, he has this tightly attached to resume, and when I try to
00:30open it up with all available tools, even with a save bit like you see now, sometimes something
00:35unpleasant happens. See, right in the middle it's already starting to get red. Visually, nothing is
00:41really happening yet. But it's already turning red, and at that moment I realized that, well, there will
00:47be some content. And no, I'm not ashamed to show this, I want you to see it, I want you
00:52to understand
00:52it. And the funniest thing is, this happens to everyone, even to the most experienced professionals,
00:58not just to me. It's, well, I can't say it's normal, but it just happens in our lives. Right now,
01:04well,
01:05it seems like I'm doing everything as usual. I opened up the cuticle, yes, I used the pusher and the
01:11save
01:11bit. Basically, I did everything possible. Next, I take the flame bit, and this is where it happens,
01:17and it will be clearly visible. I'm working with the flame bit with a sharp tip, by the way.
01:22With the tip pointing upward, since his cuticle wasn't fully lifted, and there's
01:26a spot where the cuticle is stuck to the nail, so with these kinds of movements, I actually end
01:32up injuring it further. So, it might not be visually noticeable at first, but after cutting with the
01:37nippers, everything becomes clear. I also don't intentionally make a rough, deep cut, because
01:41Anton has really thin skin, and his nails are very beautiful. They have long nail beds, and everyone
01:47always envies him for having such great nails. But with his cuticles, that's a different story.
01:53I'm right now on the pusher. I'll show you. See, here it is. This tiny bit of adhered skin that
01:59I filed
02:00into earlier, and actually, that's how the little wound happened. After that, I treated it off camera,
02:07and I was able to remove it, but still, the redness remained. But none of that matters, because I brought
02:13Anton here to torture him as my model for one simple reason. I received a package. This is a new
02:18collection called IM. Actually, it's a new brand. Just so you know, it was launched by Iris K, and here
02:24there's just, well, a base coat. Everything is clear. Everything is great. But look, this is a quick gel.
02:30I got it in shade number 3, and it has this awesome membrane that pews off like this, and then
02:37you
02:37immediately have a little hole there. I didn't cut a hole in it. It's really cool, but the best part
02:42is
02:43that this membrane is reusable. So you use it, stick it back on, and the gel won't go anywhere. With
02:48the
02:48help of quick gel, in shade number 3, I'm building up the edge right now. I really love this technique.
02:55I'm building up the edges and showing how to work on short natural nails. This is the little sausage
03:00we've got. Well, next we'll distribute the gel, and here I didn't cut anything. I want to show you
03:05directly. First of all, the consistency of the gel is just great. It's not stringy, very pleasant.
03:10We place our drop, gently move it toward the cuticle, and then pull it back. This is necessary,
03:17so that there isn't a pronounced ridge as the nail grows out. Ridges are only needed on the free edge,
03:23but we'll file those down as well now. I use a thin brush to help distribute it, and all my
03:28movements
03:29are pulling. They must be pulling movements, because right now the nails are as straight as possible.
03:35Those super egg-shaped highlights aren't really done anymore. You can pinch the gel around the fifth
03:40or sixth second, but that's in my lamp, so make sure to check for yourself. And now for the promised
03:47sealing. Look, everything is sealed back up. Even though I got some gel on the edge somewhere,
03:53it's still sealed. That's great. That's awesome. Our seal is holding up and going strong, as they say.
04:01And now I'm showing how I file this kind of nail. Notice that the file is placed completely under the
04:07nail plate. And by the way, I file quite a lot. My goal is to file the lower third of
04:14the nail plate to
04:15make the nail more straight or flatter. Not everyone understands this architecture right now, but it's
04:22actually very wearable. Take a look at how it looks. But for now, at this moment, I don't like what's
04:29happening under the nail. So, as usual, we take the small drill bit and at about 10 or 12 000
04:36rpm,
04:37not super high speed. I file everything from the inside. And I end up with a thin beautiful nail.
04:44Nail. I'm really trying for those who have a hard time understanding my speech issues.
04:51Next, I use a top coat and it's from the same series. It's just as clear. It has a clear
04:58brush.
04:58I don't smooth it out. I just flip it over for a short time and that's the result we get.
05:04Well,
05:05you can gloat about the wounds. But I ended up with a very beautiful nail. Look how cute it is.
05:12It will
05:13definitely hold and definitely last. And of course, for the new gel from I.M. I give it a big
05:18fat thumbs
05:19up. I'm extremely satisfied. I really liked everything. I'm so glad there are manufacturers
05:24like this. It's so cool that we live in such an amazing time.
