00:00What is his realistic current situation if Mariota's out for an extended period
00:07and if Daniel's not ready to come back?
00:10And what is his longer runway future in your eyes, B. Mitch?
00:14I think he has a great future in this league
00:17because once they see you can at least handle and play,
00:22you're going to get a chance.
00:23I think if that kid had better blocking yesterday,
00:27I'd be amazed at what he could have done.
00:29You know, I watched him in our preseason where he doesn't panic in the pocket.
00:38He climbs the pocket.
00:39He does everything you ask a great quarterback to do.
00:42I'm not calling him great.
00:43I'm just saying he does the things that the great ones do.
00:46And then he throws the ball to spots.
00:49He don't throw the ball to players, which is the one thing most young quarterbacks do.
00:53Don't care what level they are.
00:55Peyton Manning was big pick, top pick.
00:57Peyton Manning threw the ball to players when he first started playing in this league,
01:01not the spots.
01:02That kid throws the spots already.
01:04So he's going to end up being a backup at least 10 years.
01:11Wow.
01:12Okay.
01:12So you don't think he's just a flash in the pan.
01:15You think he's a genuine QB2 in this league?
