01:00And if this game lives up to its billing, we're in for a riveting occasion.
01:04What are you expecting?
01:06Well, it's a pleasure to be here and I'm anticipating a good game today.
01:09The coaching staff have done all they can.
01:12Now it's about taking it onto the pitch.
01:28But here's the starting lineup for Ajax.
01:31Marc-Andre Ter Stegen stands between the posts.
01:35Julian Brandt plays with Davy Klaassen in central midfield.
01:38And in this tactical setup, they have just the one player in attack.
01:59And introducing the visitors' lineup today.
02:02Well, it certainly looks like they'll be going for it from the off in a 3-4-3.
02:07We may see the front three quite narrow and close to each other.
02:10And then behind them will be the midfield, will be the supply line.
02:13It's just essential, though, that they get the width from their wingbacks.
02:22And then behind them will be the midfield, will be the midfield, will be the midfield.
02:42So, underway, and we expect intensity, passion, and a few goals for good measure.
03:03And Ajax with the ball once more.
03:14Could be dangerous.
03:16That's how to dispossess your opponent.
03:44Well, that's eye-catching, wide play.
03:52Oh, that's really well done.
03:57Well, in fairness, he's managed to redeem himself.
04:00And cutting infield.
04:03I'm ashamed that he couldn't find the target from there.
04:16Danger reversing.
04:18Well read.
04:23Drawing his luck.
04:30Well, it looked as though they were on to something.
04:33Yeah, and I like the way he handled that.
04:35Really short thinking.
04:38Oh, useful ball.
04:40Oh, useful ball.
04:44Can they forge ahead?
04:46Oh, a ball still in play.
04:49And nicely parried away.
04:58And it's through here.
05:00Still alive.
05:02Goalkeeping right out of the top drawer.
05:04Well, he certainly showed his pass there with that save.
05:07You'd expect him to score from there, but he comes from nowhere to keep that out.
05:15Now, sending it in.
05:17Well, out of there, but problem not solved.
05:22And that's the end of that attack.
05:37Oh, it's an absolutely tremendous save.
05:42Well, it just shows great reflexes and agility to keep that out.
05:46It's a top-class save.
05:57And there's the delivery.
05:59And there's the delivery.
06:13Strong bit of pressing
06:14And Ajax recovering possession
06:17Eyes on goal
06:18Oh a superb save
06:25And beating the defender
06:32Well let's give them credit
06:33It was a fine piece of defending when required
06:40Oh that's brilliant play
06:49Given away by Ajax
06:57Oh fancy footwork
07:00Very much run of the mill as saves go
07:07And Christensen has it
07:17That is that
07:19For the first half here
07:26Well Julian Brandt can be so explosive
07:28And dynamic but there's something
07:30Missing today
07:31Well he's just not looked himself today
07:33Not demanding the ball enough
07:35And a bit careless when he's got it
07:37They need him to find his rhythm
07:39Don't they
07:44The wait is over
07:46Now we're in business
07:48And we're in business
07:48And we're in business
07:49And we're in business
08:02And we're in business
08:02And we're in business
08:03And we're in business
08:03And we're in business
08:04And we're in business
08:04And we're in business
08:04And we're in business
08:05And we're in business
08:05And we're in business
08:05And we're in business
08:05And we're in business
08:06And we're in business
08:07And we're in business
08:07And we're in business
08:08And we're in business
08:12And we're in business
09:45Another attack come to life.
09:54Oh, could be an opportunity here.
09:59Can he put them in front?
10:01And really tried to blast that one past the keeper, but his radar was a bit off.
10:14Suddenly they have possession, searching for the angle.
10:21But the danger averted for now.
10:24Possibility of a counterattack.
10:31Well, there was impending danger, but good defending.
10:41It's a neat move.
10:44Don't have a touch too heavy there.
10:55Ajax looking dangerous.
11:01Oh, that is a recovery and a half.
11:04Yeah, great billet offending that.
11:06Thought it was going in.
11:08And he might be through here.
11:11And it's in.
11:121-0.
11:14They've breached the defence.
11:26Well, here we can see it again.
11:28And it's a really cool finish.
11:30He didn't overthink it.
11:32Just made his mind up and slotted it home.
11:47So, underway again here.
11:49And with that goal, the challenge has been thrown down.
11:57Very quick thinking there.
12:00And space opening up on the wing.
12:05Good bit of defensive positioning.
12:09Playing his way in.
12:14And through for the goal kick.
12:16He hits it with power.
12:19Well, a move here to bolster their attacking prospects.
12:23Yeah, just trying to change the tempo a bit.
12:25Fresh player, fresh ideas.
12:27Could spark something.
12:40Oh, there it is.
12:42The mistake punished to the maximum.
12:44And the goalkeeper left distraught.
12:46Huge error.
12:50Well, here's the replay.
12:52I'm not sure the keeper's going to want to see that again.
12:54Caught in possession.
12:56He's just too slow on the ball.
12:58He'll be gutted with conceding that.
13:12So, underway again here.
13:14On the back of that leveller.
13:23Effective on the flank.
13:2820 minutes remaining.
13:39And losing possession.
13:44Had the confidence to try it.
13:46And then executed it.
13:53Might lead to a chance.
13:58Oh, he could be in trouble.
14:08We could see it coming.
14:10Red card indeed.
14:12Yeah, he's the last man.
14:12It's an easy decision for the ref.
14:20They will now make use of the substitutes bench.
14:40What a solid effort.
14:42But my goodness, the keeper was exactly where he had to be.
14:52Well, he stopped them in their tracks.
14:58Well, it's so noisy in here.
15:00And the fans are really pushing their side on.
15:03They know there's still time for one last chance to get the winner.
15:10Successfully winning the ball back.
15:13And over promise.
15:14Is it going to end with them scoring the winning goal?
15:17Oh, a goal!
15:18And is that going to be the one that wins it for them?
15:22There's every chance.
15:23And the fans are laughing this up.
15:34Well, here we can see it again.
15:36And he shows great ability to get past his man.
15:39And it's a good goal, too.
15:40Places it past the keeper.
15:42He keeps his call.
15:43And it's a clinical finish.
16:04So, back underway here.
16:06Can they hold on to their lead?
16:12Chasing this game.
16:14Desperate for a leveler.
16:16Just lost his focus.
16:17Throw in here.
16:30Enrique.
16:33Well-timed tackle.
16:40Now gliding through.
16:42Chance to break, perhaps.
16:45He's in behind.
16:47The game has been turned on its head.
16:50They have never stopped believing.
16:52And now they sense victory.
17:01Well, the speed of this transition is incredible.
17:04They're up the pitch in a flash.
17:05And he shows his strength by holding off the defender.
17:08Then keeps his composure to finish.
17:10He does really well there.
17:16And Christensen has it.
17:25The referee blows for full time.
17:27It ends at a victory for the home team.
17:29No complaints from the fans here.
17:31Yeah, it was a positive performance.
17:33Some of their play today was great to watch.
17:35They moved the ball quick.
17:36And created some really good openings.
17:38It's a good result.
17:42No two ways about it.
17:43He really has brought his influence to bear on the proceedings.
17:47Yeah, he caused them a lot of problems off the ball.
17:50Closing them down and never giving them a minute in possession.
