00:13Brazilian President Lula da Silva is parading the streets of Rio together with thousands of supporters in one of his
00:19last main campaigning actions ahead of Sunday General Elections.
00:23Our special envoy Belen de los Santos is there live and is with us here to share all the details.
00:28Welcome Belen from Rio.
00:31Hello Luis, you were exactly correct. We are downtown Rio de Janeiro and Lula has just passed through this same
00:37street. We were very, very close. We just had to step outside for a little bit in order to get
00:44this communication with you and let you know what is happening here. So you were exactly correct. This is the
00:48last days of campaigns and the last main act and that means for the main candidates of this election going
00:55around the main stage.
00:57We have been talking about this, the most important electoral districts and of the three major ones that is Sao
01:03Paulo, Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro, this is the third one and this is where Lula da Silva started
01:09his final campaigns, caravans here.
01:13So he has been going through the streets. There was a great concentration in downtown Rio de Janeiro and he
01:19is going through the streets with a caravan greeting everyone. There's a lot of music. There's a lot of real
01:26spirits as well. It is a little bit of carnival meeting politics because we are just two days away from
01:33this major election.
01:34And the campaign and activities continue although they have some limitations from yesterday that were the last final TV spots
01:43as allocated to the different candidates and also some restrictions in terms of the way that the meetings need to
01:50be had in the last few days.
01:53But caravans are still allowed. And this one was one of the most important ones and also main closing rallies
02:03will be held in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais and in Sao Paulo for the final closing of this campaign that
02:10will have the first round of election this October 4th.
02:15There's a lot of chanting here for Lula on the first turn that is beating those reaching those 50 percentage
02:23points that would allow him to be elected in this first round of elections.
02:28Of course, polls say that we're still not there yet, that the scene is heading towards a runoff. But of
02:35course, the militants, the activists are also very hopeful. So that is what we're seeing here.
02:41For details coming from that from that campaign rally happening, that parade in Rio de Janeiro with all the details
02:48of everything that campaign is taking place for Lula Silva, Belen de los Santos have them.
02:52But now let's continue talking about these electoral days ahead.
02:56Delicioso that is wrong with esoterios.
02:57Delicioso flight.
