00:08Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the moments when Drag Race
00:12lip-sync assassins were born. For this list, we're looking at moments when lip-sync assassins
00:17were born rather than just a simple list of their best lip-syncs.
00:20That was so much fun to watch. I pity the fool that has to go up against you.
00:27Number 10. What about Megami?
00:40Either Morphine Love Dion or Maya Iman LePage were fully expected to win the end-of-season lip-sync competition.
00:46For the other season 16 queens, it was almost a competition for third place.
00:50No one expected Megami to bring the heat. It wasn't until her first lip-sync of the night
00:54against Q that everyone realized they'd made a terrible mistake.
01:03You can watch in real time as her competitors realized that facing Megami in a lip-sync was not going
01:08to be the easy win they assumed.
01:10Even the contestants who were openly rooting for Q to pull out the win had to concede that Megami was
01:15giving more.
01:15Oh! I'm living for Megami.
01:19I'm rooting for Q, but I would kind of have to explain Megami is tearing this up.
01:24Number 9. I'm Every Woman. Trinity K. Bonet.
01:27Chaka Khan's 1978 hit is a diva track to end them all.
01:32Trinity K. Bonet's confidence was a running theme throughout season 6,
01:35but when she lip-synced I'm Every Woman, we saw her embody the lyrics.
01:45When it comes right down to it, Trinity was a lethal performer.
01:49She worked her gown, her moves, and her entire persona.
01:52The energy was undeniable, but the moment that sealed it was one of her quieter, more graceful ones.
01:58I ain't bragging, cause I'm the one.
02:03Trinity is lip-syncing the house down in boots.
02:07I don't know what that means, but she's doing it.
02:08Trinity flared out her gown, sat down on the stage,
02:11and delivered editorial poses while she mimed the lyrics.
02:14This is just a goddess claiming her stage.
02:26Number 8. Barbie Girl. Silky Nutmeg Ganache.
02:40On season 11, she was famously in a lip-sync that made RuPaul say,
02:46All Star 6's Redemption lip-sync Smackdown gave us the first real look at Silky Nutmeg Ganache the Assassin.
02:52Each new lip-sync saw her sending home another of her fellow eliminated queens.
02:57Her Barbie Girl lip-sync was her crowning achievement.
02:59You're my doll, rock and roll, can I climb a rippling?
03:03Kiss me here, toss me there, hanky nanky.
03:07You can dance, you can dance.
03:10Despite her opponent opting not to lip-sync against her,
03:13Silky still has to put on a show with nothing at stake.
03:16After all, she had a whole reveal planned.
03:18The result was a chaotic solo piece of epic proportions.
03:22Come on, Barbie, let's go party.
03:26Come on, Barbie, let's go party.
03:29Come on, Barbie, let's go party.
03:34Number 7. Pound the Alarm.
03:36Monet Exchange.
03:37During a high point in the song,
03:38Monet pulled out a well-worn lip-sync cliche
03:40when she crossed herself to the beat
03:42and acted as if she was about to land a split.
03:44Then, she just didn't.
03:46You said it makes me happy.
03:56Do you know how funny you have to be
03:58to make us laugh by not doing something on stage?
04:01But she became an assassin when she showed later in the song
04:03that she could hit that split.
04:05You know we're getting hotter and hotter.
04:08Sexy and hotter, let's shut it down.
04:12Come on, don't be alive.
04:16Monet was smart enough to subvert our expectations for stunts
04:19and then legitimately surprise us with an actual jump split.
04:22She didn't fake us out because she can't do the splits.
04:24She just didn't feel like doing them right then.
04:32Number 6. The Pleasure Principle.
04:34Simone.
04:46With her many successes on the season,
04:49we got plenty of chances to see Simone's lip-sync prowess.
04:51And having the entire cast perform in the very first episode
04:55proved to be a great showcase for the cast of season 13.
04:58Simone took on Tamisha Iman in a Janet Jackson lip-sync.
05:01It's the Pleasure Principle.
05:03Oh, oh, oh, oh.
05:08It's the Pleasure the Pleasure.
05:11Her effortless and seamless transitions
05:14from being the goddess of the runway
05:15to a complete and utter fool pulling unhinged faces
05:18makes her one of the more versatile lip-sync assassins.
05:21The Pleasure Principle established one fact.
05:23If you're going up against Simone,
05:25you better be an all-around entertainer.
05:27It's not her Janet Jackson moment, it's mine!
05:38Number 5. Music. Peppermint.
05:41I'm about to do the thing that I know how to do the best. Actually, I'm worried for Cynthia.
05:46Though she landed in the bottom twice, the season 9 finalist was a force to be reckoned with on that
05:51main stage.
05:52Peppermint faced off against Cynthia Lee Fontaine to Madonna's 2000 classic music.
06:03In her pre-lip-sync confessional, she expressed worry for her opponent.
06:07Her lip-sync here is textbook. It is hilarious, it is powerful, and it's built on individual moments that stand
06:13out.
06:19However, if one moment announced her as an assassin,
06:22it has to be the moment she mimed loading an imaginary shotgun and taking a shot at Cynthia from the
06:27other side of the stage.
06:28When the music starts, I never want to stop. It's gonna drive me crazy.
06:44Number 4. When I Grow Up. Coco Montrese.
06:47Now I've got a confession.
06:51When I was young, I wanted attention.
06:55Mama ain't going that easy.
06:57I gotta pull it out and let Voodoo know why I should be here.
07:00Michelle Visage said that anyone who ends up in the bottom with Coco should be very, very afraid.
07:05We got our first taste of her precise approach to lip-syncing
07:08when she took on When I Grow Up by the Pussycat Dolls.
07:18Some queens can give you stunts, and some queens can give you lyrics and acting chops.
07:22Coco gives you both.
07:23She takes the phrase lip-sync for your life seriously,
07:26delivering high-energy choreo and word-perfect pantomime like her life depends on it.
07:42It was only the first of four stellar lip-syncs from Coco.
07:46Number 3. I Think We're Alone Now. Ginger Minge.
07:49That's what they say when we're together
07:52And watch how you play
07:56They don't understand
07:57And so we're running just as fast as we can
08:01In recent All-Star seasons, fans have noted just how much RuPaul seems to love Ginger Minge's style of character
08:07-based lip-syncing.
08:08She doesn't pull stunts, but she does pull focus.
08:11A great early example of Ginger's prowess was one of the trickier lip-syncs.
08:15I think we're alone
08:17There doesn't seem to be anyone around
08:21She took some scissors and literally cut her and Sasha Bell out of their conjoined twin get-up during the
08:27I Think We're Alone Now lip-sync.
08:28Rather than let the challenge twist sink her, she took full advantage of the comedic possibilities.
08:33It's what sets her apart from many of her competitors.
08:36Wow! That was outrageous!
08:40Now I've made my decision.
08:42Number 2. Call Me. Chi-Chi Devane.
08:46Call her baby, call her me your car
08:50Call her me your car, call her darling
08:54Underdog was an understatement.
08:57Chi-Chi Devane's journey on season 8 saw her persevering in spite of her humble beginnings in Louisiana.
09:02But the one thing she knew she could do was perform.
09:05Oh my god.
09:10Chi-Chi just went in for the kill.
09:13And when I say kill, I mean there was blood everywhere.
09:18Landing in the bottom with Naysha Lopez, she destroyed her on Blondie's new wave classic Call Me.
09:23At one point, the pair ended up on the floor in what seemed like a duet.
09:27Then, Chi-Chi turned the tables while Naysha's back was to her, pointing at herself when Debbie Harry once again
09:32sang the title.
09:33Harry!
09:34And why?
09:36Call me, call me, call me, get it, get it, time for me.
09:41Woo!
09:43One thing about Chi-Chi, she did not play when it comes to lip-syncing.

10:14Number 1.
10:15Wig Reveal.
10:15Roxy Andrews.
10:17No, we will never shut up about this moment.
10:33Roxy is one of the show's best lip-syncers.
10:35However, she rarely got the chance to show it off on season 5 as she was one of the season's
10:40most consistent performers.
10:41The reveal of the second wig was perfectly on theme with the song.
10:45Willow Smith's Whip My Hair.
10:55And it instantly became a meme, living on forever.
10:59We would get to see more of her lip-syncing slayage on two All-Star seasons.
11:03There's a reason it's unforgettable, and it's also the reason why a queen better never take off a wig during
11:08a lip-sync without another wig underneath.
11:10It's gonna be a photo finish tonight.
11:19Who are your favorite lip-sync assassins?
11:21Tell us in the comments.
11:22What is the real use of when?
11:23I love see more of her.
11:29Lacey.
11:29I love you.
