Burnout gets easier to handle when you have a stronger reason to keep going, and that is the core idea behind this fast, practical YouTube creator mindset talk. The speaker explains how posting videos every day across multiple channels taught him that motivation, stakes, and balance matter just as much as hard work.

He breaks down why working nonstop can backfire, why taking time away from work can make you more locked in when you return, and why switching between different projects helps keep energy high. The advice is aimed at creators, online business owners, and anyone trying to stay consistent without losing momentum. It also stresses enjoying what you do, because doing something only for money can make it harder to keep going.

Created for viewers searching for burnout prevention, productivity advice, creator motivation, work-life balance, and mindset tips for YouTube, online business, and side hustles. Ideal for anyone looking for short self-improvement commentary, daily discipline, and practical ways to avoid burnout while staying consistent.

00:00I run over 10 YouTube channels when I'm posting videos every single day and people always ask me
00:04how do I not get burnt out from posting this much? So today I want to kind of talk about
00:09how to avoid
00:10burnout and how I personally use this method to just be able to keep working no matter how stressful
00:15or hard things are. This video can apply to you no matter what you're doing. Could be if you want
00:18to be a YouTuber, could be if you're trying to grind your online business, whatever. You can use
00:23what I'm about to tell you to just avoid burnout so much. So the first thing you have to realize
00:27is
00:27how bad do you want your thing to work out? Is it YouTube, your online business? How bad do you
00:32really want it? And not only this, you have to have a good motive for making it work out. What's
00:37at
00:38stake? Can you pay right next month if you make this work or not? Or if you're someone who's kind
00:42of just
00:42doing it for fun, basically you're going to have less of a reason to do it if there's not high
00:46stakes
00:47and you don't have a strong motive to do it. I mean, think about it. If you're doing YouTube just
00:51for
00:51fun, it doesn't really matter if you fail or not. What's the chance you actually grind and lock in
00:55when you don't have much at stake? You feel me? But if you're just in the mindset like,
00:59oh, I'm not going to be able to pay my rent next month if I don't get a certain amount
01:02of views
01:02or work more than four hours a day, bro, you're going to be grinding like way harder. So why not
01:07just start working that hard right now? And so this idea of just how bad do you want it? A
01:11lot of
01:12people can do a lot more than they realize. It just takes realizing what's at stake. So cool,
01:17whatever. Now you know what's at stake. How do you actually avoid the burnout? Because you can work
01:22all day, but it doesn't really matter if you're just going to quit after a week of doing it every
01:26day, right? And this is where the method I learned comes into play. Ironically, you wouldn't expect
01:30this, but I work harder when I work less hours. How you might be wondering? Well, I've found,
01:37at least for me personally, this could be different for everyone. Oh my gosh. I need a balance of work
01:42life and personal life. So for example, I've tried days where I work 18 hours a day, pretty much the
01:48entire day except sleep. And I do get stuff done. But after doing that for a few days straight,
01:53you get a burnt out. No matter what you're doing, how locked in you are, you can't just do the
01:58same
01:58thing over and over. And so I've realized like other days when I am doing more personal stuff,
02:02like hang out with friends or going to a party and I'm not as locked in, all I'm thinking about
02:06all day
02:07is like, bro, I just want to work on videos. So guess what? When I do get back home, yo,
02:12have a heart.
02:12When I do finally get back home, I just full locked in. I could work for eight hours and not
02:17get burnt
02:18out because in my mind, I'm just like, bro, I haven't been able to work the past day because
02:21I've been just doing IRL stuff. I need to work harder now because I'm just not locked in.
02:26Forcing yourself to get out of your room and stop working for a few hours to have the balance of
02:32not
02:32working makes you realize like when you do get back to working, you just don't want to stop because
02:36you just feel like, oh, I've been wasting so much time not working. And if you don't have this mindset
02:41yet, but not everyone just has this automatically, get used to it. Like if you really want to build
02:45something, you're going to have to figure out how to avoid burnout no matter what, right? And I've
02:49just found in my experience, the easiest way to do that, just spend some time not working. It doesn't
02:53have to be a perfect balance 50-50 of working and not working. It changes depending on events that
02:58come up in your life. Say you go on a vacation for a week. Obviously you're going to have a
03:01lot less
03:02time working, more time personal life. As long as you just have some time to balance out like every so
03:07often. Oh my gosh, yo chill. The balance kind of just sustains itself, but you have to realize like when
03:14you're on a break, as soon as you come back to be working, you have to shift yourself to just
03:19get in the working mindset. Because a lot of people, when they come back from a break,
03:23they're still going to be in the break mindset and not going to want to lock in. So my advice
03:27for
03:28that, as soon as you get home, just say to yourself, all right, break time's over. Had a good run.
03:32But
03:32now this whole time I've been thinking about working more. So I'm going to work now. And being able to
03:36switch that mindset fast, it just comes with knowing how bad you want it, which is why I said that
03:40first
03:41point. Know what's at stake. What's your motive for doing this? Could be buying a new car. Could
03:45be paying your parents' house off or something. But you need a strong motive to be doing this or
03:50you're still going to get burnt out no matter how balanced your work life is. Like I know people
03:54who go out all the time, but as soon as they come home, they're just not as locked in. They
03:58don't
03:59have the drive to just make more videos because they haven't been able to because they don't have a
04:02strong reason to do it. No matter what they do, how much time or balance they spend working,
04:07they're just not going to be as locked in compared to someone who has a strong reason to be working
04:11for. And also another huge point I've learned for not getting burnt out, you got to diversify
04:15what you do. This just comes with like business as well. Being able to do a bunch of different
04:19things and not just one thing. You obviously could do one single thing all day and that be your main
04:25income, but it's honestly going to burn you out a lot faster than if you're doing three different
04:29things every day, right? That are completely different. So for example, I do Minecraft content,
04:33robots content, and coaching stuff to help people get views. That's three completely different areas
04:38of YouTube. So I'm not spending like eight hours every day, just playing Minecraft. That would
04:43probably get boring. Not gonna lie. Even though I like Minecraft, it doesn't matter how much you
04:47like something. If you just do it and that's all you do all day, you're going to get burnt out
04:51of
04:51it no matter what it is. So, oh my gosh, did I just beat a low tier three in sword?
04:55Yo, I'm not that
04:56good. And another point guys, one of my last points here, you have to really enjoy what you're
05:00doing. If you're working on a business, it better be something you actually like personally enjoy
05:05because if it's just something you're doing just for the money, trust me, the money's not going to
05:09come when you're doing something just for the money. You have to have like some enjoyment out
05:14of it to keep going because when you don't get paid for it, guess what? You're just not going to
05:18want to do it anymore because all you want is the money. You don't care about doing it for the
05:22love
05:22of the game. That's why we're doing this channel. I do actually like making these videos.
05:26I do like making the short reactions as well because those are just funny videos to watch,
05:30but you'll notice everything I do aligns with something I actually enjoy doing. Like I like
05:34playing Roblox videos because I haven't really played a different game besides Minecraft for a
05:38while. So that's fun to me. And I love helping people get views on YouTube. That's kind of why
05:42we're making this video right now, as well as why I started my whole mentorship coaching business,
05:47right? And now I'm making the most money I ever have from YouTube and all my income streams
05:51because I enjoy it all. And because I'm actually trying a bunch of different things instead of just
05:58get burnt out. Oh my gosh. Am I good now? Yo, I think talking about life stuff while PVPing helps
06:04low key. But to wrap up my points, basically to avoid burnout, have a good motive to do what you're
06:10doing. Because if you don't have a good reason, there's less chance you actually work hard enough
06:14to do it. Second of all, have a good balance between doing it and also not doing it. If you
06:19do
06:19it all day, you're going to get burnt out no matter what it is. You need time off of working
06:23so that when
06:23you get back to work, you're like, okay, I can finally work. It's actually fun. It's not like a
06:28chore. And then the third big point, you got to enjoy it. Also do a couple different things. Like
06:33don't just do one thing. You could if you really want to, but personally, like doing a couple different
06:37things every day is a lot easier than just one thing the whole day. And if you can do that,
06:41plus
06:41enjoy it, like trust me, you're going to be able to work so much without burning out. Because guess
06:47what? You're not doing work. You're doing something you love. And work goes by so fast and doesn't feel
06:52like a chore when you love doing it. That's why I always tell everybody, you got to follow your
06:56passions, do what you actually want to do. And it just makes life so much better. Yo bro left.
07:01All right. That's the video guys. Hope you enjoyed. Give me ideas for more videos in the comments.
07:05And if you guys are interested to see what I'm doing with YouTube coaching and actually take
07:09YouTube seriously, like look, one of my students already made 20k in the last few months for Minecraft
07:13shorts. I'll leave my channel in the pinned comment. All this stuff here is free, so you don't even have
07:17to pay anything, but check it out. Goodbye.
