Feeling behind in life? This motivational commentary breaks down why social media makes progress feel smaller than it really is, and why your brain keeps comparing your path to everyone else’s highlight reel. The message is simple: there is no perfect spot to be at, because goals keep moving and someone will always seem further ahead.

Using a personal example about reaching a first 10K month and still wanting more, the video explores ambition, comparison, entrepreneurship, and the pressure to keep chasing the next milestone. It speaks directly to anyone trying to build on YouTube, make money online, or stop feeling stuck while everyone else appears to be winning.

If you have ever wondered whether you are behind or just measuring yourself against the wrong standard, this is a calm, honest mindset talk worth hearing. It also connects with creators who enjoy self-improvement, creator economy advice, and realistic motivation for building a channel or business.

00:00If you feel behind in life, do yourself a favor and watch this entire video.
00:04Trust me, it was meant for you.
00:06So in this day and era with the rise of social media,
00:09it is very easy to feel behind everyone else when you're constantly seeing the highlights of their lives.
00:15Because whenever people post on social media, best believe they're not going to be posting their struggles.
00:20Because who wants to see that? Who is going to like seeing you fail?
00:23And so it's created this false perception of what is actually the right spot to be at in life.
00:28And I'm sure you can relate to this, you've probably felt behind at some point.
00:32But you have to ask yourself, what even is the right spot to be at?
00:36I mean, if you're behind, then what would not be behind?
00:40Maybe you have certain goals you want to accomplish, a certain amount of money you want to make,
00:44or maybe the people around you your age are just doing more than you.
00:47And I've also felt this way for the past couple years.
00:50But what I've learned about feeling behind is actually pretty interesting,
00:53and it might just change your perception on, well, everything.
00:57Because feeling like you're not at the point of other people is something your brain actually just subconsciously chooses to
01:03do.
01:04I mean, if you really think about it, you can just turn it off and be like,
01:07I am still able to live here and not worry about how far I am in this life, how much
01:12money I'm making.
01:13I mean, it's all made up if you think about it.
01:15Imagine we go back to our roots and we're just animals.
01:17There is no being ahead of other people.
01:20You just survive day to day.
01:21And so when you think about it like that, you realize, oh, this is just a thing us humans have
01:27to deal with.
01:27It's just kind of a social construct.
01:29And it's caused by seeing other people's lives.
01:32So you could just be like, okay, I am fine where I am.
01:35I don't have to worry about this.
01:37And you could just be fine where you are.
01:39But the reason your brain wants to feel like this and like you can do more and be maybe envious
01:43of the people who are doing what you want to do,
01:45is because when you're seeing other people do it, it makes you feel like that is the norm.
01:50Except there really is no norm, especially with social media now.
01:54It's just everywhere.
01:55Like there was no perfect spot to be at because if you kept thinking there's more to do for yourself,
02:01well, there will always be more to do.
02:03Imagine you're making, you know, a thousand dollars a month right now and your goal is 10K a month, right?
02:09This was how it was for me actually for the longest time.
02:11So this is a personal example.
02:12I got to my first 10K month last year from like Roblox videos and I thought I was going to
02:17be happy.
02:17I'd be like, I'm finally not behind anymore.
02:19But you know, the first thing I thought, there are dudes making 50K a month doing the same exact thing
02:24as me.
02:25Why do I get to celebrate?
02:27Even though I achieved my personal goal, there will always be someone who is miles ahead of you.
02:31So can you really ever be complacent?
02:33And so it's really up to you to decide when you're done or not.
02:37Because you can literally scale how far your goals go forever.
02:41I mean, even the people making a million dollars per month could say, okay, well, Elon Musk is making a
02:47million times that.
02:48I guess we've got to work harder.
02:49So you have to realize it's a never ending journey.
02:52Like if you're just trying to chase a certain amount of money or a certain goal, when you complete it,
02:58there will always be another thing you can come up with.
03:00And so feeling behind isn't so much just like a bad thing, but you just have to realize that it
03:06will always feel out of reach because that's what it is.
03:09A goal.
03:09When you're behind something, you're behind it.
03:11Once you get to the same level as it, well, you can either stay put, be complacent, be happy, or
03:17look to the next goal, which will always make you feel like there's more to do.
03:20Which isn't always a bad thing, but it depends on how far you're willing to take it.
03:25I mean, if you're always chasing the next thing, well, you're really never going to be satisfied.
03:29And this is actually something a lot of entrepreneurs can relate to because they like chasing the next thing.
03:35They never like feeling like things are done.
03:37And so if this is you and you feel like you always want to build something or chase the next
03:42goal or make more money, just realize when you finally complete your goal and feel like you might not be
03:48as behind as other people, you are still going to feel behind if you see people that are ahead of
03:53you still.
03:53And you make the decision that, oh, I have to chase that.
03:56I have to keep going farther.
03:57It will always be like that unless you make the conscious decision to be like, you know what?
04:02I've done enough.
04:03I don't have to go as hard now.
04:04And you know what?
04:05I could slow down.
04:06But that is not for everybody.
04:08Some people are just designed to keep going 100% 24-7.
04:12And that is how I kind of am because I just love building stuff and making more progress, which is
04:17why I actually decided to start my personal brand channel where I've been teaching you guys how to do crazy
04:22numbers on YouTube.
04:23Now, this is not just a shameless plug, but I just want to include this to tell you guys, if
04:27you're wanting to start YouTube, I have just created a private community where you can work one-on-one with
04:31me.
04:32And some of my clients are already making thousands of dollars every month.
04:35And this is one of the things I decided to start because I wanted other people to feel like they
04:39were making progress and not feeling like they're behind everybody.
04:43So, I just started teaching you guys how to actually do YouTube.
04:46That is a quick little plug.
04:47If you're interested, look at the pinned comment because that is what I've been working on recently.
04:50And I kind of want to make these videos on this channel to tell you guys about that because I
04:55know anyone who's watching a video like this is probably wanting to do something with their lives.
04:59And if you're already watching my channel, chances are you like Minecraft.
05:02So, why not learn how to make Minecraft videos that can actually pay you and sustain you so you can
05:07live off of it.
05:08So, yeah, if you're interested, look at the pinned comment.
05:10But that is pretty much the video.
05:11That is what I think about if you're feeling behind because honestly, it's something we will all face at some
05:17point, whether you have or not already.
05:19And so, when you start feeling behind, just remember, are you actually behind or is your brain just wanting you
05:24to do more?
05:25But, yeah, that is all.
05:26Watch this video on screen and goodbye.
05:29Yo, get this guy out here.
05:31All right.
05:31Bye.
