I tried ranked Minecraft PvP on a new server with a fresh ranking system, and the first placements turned into a chaotic comeback story. I went in rusty after not playing Minecraft for about a month, tested vanilla PvP, and played through several rounds of anchor spam, shield timing, totem pops, and a lot of bad inventory management.
Across the matchups, I faced players with different tiers, dealt with loud sound settings, low fire issues, and some very close deaths, but still managed to win most of the placement games.
