00:00If you scroll social media, you've probably seen people enjoying their lives and living with
00:05everything seeming to be perfect. Except in reality, most of what you see on Instagram
00:09is going to be a false version of what is actually going on. And behind the scenes,
00:14they're not actually that happy with their lives. So it begs the question,
00:17what actually makes a good life and how do you actually enjoy it? And so I've come up with three
00:22main pillars of what you need to have to enjoy your life from what I've personally learned over
00:26the past, well, 20 years. And each point is going to get more and more meaningful. So watch till the
00:31end and you will maybe see a different outlook on life and how to be happy. So number one,
00:36you have to do what you enjoy. This is the easiest one to really grasp. It's like the most obvious.
00:42Just do what you love and don't let anyone stop you. If you are doing something you hate every day,
00:47obviously, you're not going to like your life as much. You'll often hear people say work a job you
00:52love and you're never really working a day in your life. And it's really true. Like I do YouTube
00:57videos for most of what I do for money, right? And it's really like the days go by fast. It
01:03doesn't
01:03feel like I'm doing a job. It's not like I have to clock in nine to five and it takes
01:06forever.
01:07I genuinely love doing this. So it just feels like I'm doing what I love for fun. And that's an
01:14awesome thing to do. Hopefully everyone here can get to that point with whatever you want to do in
01:18life. But it genuinely makes life so much better. Like if I had to go into an in-person job
01:25and have
01:25a schedule and a boss and like, I just, I don't know, life would be a little less enjoyable to
01:31say
01:31the least. So number one, first foundational pillar of a good, enjoyable life, be able to do what you
01:37love and stay away from things that you don't like. So that's probably the most surface level one out of
01:43this whole video, which is why I put it first. But now the second one is a little more complicated
01:47and it is to live unapologetically. What this means is don't live in a way that bends to the
01:54needs of others or getting people to like you. You got to live in a way that you just stand
02:00on
02:00everything you say and you mean it. Like nothing you say is to appeal to other people. Everything
02:05you say or act on is you. You do it just for you and you don't have to worry about
02:11what other people
02:11thinking of you. If you can live like this, it's just like so revitalizing because you realize,
02:19well, first of all, not everyone cares as much as you think, but also that you're the main character
02:24and that if people don't want to respect you for what you believe, you don't need them in your life.
02:28It's simple as that, but it takes a lot of people years to even learn this. I wish I learned
02:34this
02:34sooner, but you really just got to do what you want to do, believe what you want to believe in.
02:39And if anyone has a problem with that, then they're just not meant to be in your life.
02:43It's really that simple. And this can come with breaking some bridges with people, which the
02:48reality is, you know, you might lose some people along the way, but in the long run, it's honestly
02:53more worth to just live how you want to live and how you will genuinely be as a person than
02:58have to
02:59bend your personality or your actions just because you care what another person thinks of you.
03:04Like that is just not an enjoyable life, to be honest. Having gone through that,
03:09and seeing a lot of people live like that for most of their lives. So it's really a common
03:13thing. And I'm surprised more people don't talk about this, but just live unapologetically.
03:18And I think you'll have some more enjoyment in your life. Let's try to win this game.
03:21It's a little close. Why is we're locking in right now? Ooh, yes, I do these recordings live guys.
03:27Like I'm not recording this in a voiceover, but this brings us to number three, the deepest,
03:32probably most important point of the video. And that is that you have to love the process.
03:36I see so many people like getting stressed out day to day life because they're not where they want to
03:41be yet, or they feel like they're behind other people because social media is constantly showing
03:46us people just ahead of us. That's what it always feels like. But you have to realize people on
03:51Instagram are always just going to post their highlights. You're never going to see the fails.
03:54So it's just a false sense of what reality is actually like. And so this causes them to just hate
04:00the process. They're only looking forward to when the goal is finally done, when they get the new car,
04:05when they get the dream life. And so you just kind of degrade your day to day life,
04:10which is the process. You don't end up actually loving the process, which is most of your life.
04:16You can't only look forward to the good days when everything is perfect and everything is working
04:20out. Because I mean, what would be the point if you'd lived without struggle? There would be no
04:25like growth or story. It's just you're only looking forward to the end of the story. A movie or TV
04:32show
04:32would be boring if you only saw the climax. You have to go through development and learn like
04:37the struggles that took along the way for it to be interesting. And the same thing applies to your
04:41life. Yo, that was deep. It's kind of like Minecraft in a way, guys. If you are in creative mode,
04:47you probably don't play that long. Like you just build whatever you want, but then you're like,
04:52okay, I already have everything. What's the point? Versus survival, you probably play it for a lot
04:57longer because it's not about getting to the end. It's about the progress you make and the hard times
05:04that it takes to get there. And when you're in creative mode, you don't have to deal with any
05:07of that. It's kind of just, you know, you're already end game. So what's the point? You can
05:12build stuff, I guess. But my point is you have to love the entire process, not just the highlight
05:17days, not just the ending when you already have everything that you dreamed of. Love the process
05:22because the process is literally most of your life. That is going to be how you are living most
05:27of the time. So why would you not just enjoy it every day instead of waiting for, you know,
05:32the last 10% when things actually are working out? So this is a huge one. I see a lot
05:37of people
05:37not realizing, and most people surprisingly are living like this without even noticing it. So,
05:43oh my gosh, both getting comboed. Yeah, this is the biggest point, honestly. If you're going to
05:48take anything away from this video, then just love the process. Love every day and love even
05:53the fails. Love the bad days because at the least you can take away something you learned
05:58when you fail. And even though it might be a bad day to you, just know that every bad day
06:04is helping
06:05you get closer towards the good days or the highlights. So yeah, that is the three main ways,
06:10I think, to enjoy your life. If you guys have any more ideas or ways you've enjoyed life more,
06:15leave it in the comments, but subscribe and goodbye.
