00:26One of them noticed something strange near an old phone booth.
00:29What they saw was a motionless figure hanging from the public phone cable right next to the

00:37The body of a young woman was hanging from the phone booth cable.
00:40According to the initial report from the authorities, there were no visible signs of violence or
00:45struggle on the structure or at the scene itself.
00:48Her name was Lesby Berlin Rivera Osorio.
00:50She was 22 years old.
00:52The news quickly spread.
00:54Some media outlets reported it as a mysterious death.
00:57According to the preliminary account, Lesby supposedly decided to take her own life after
01:03a night of excess.
01:06The authorities reported that the young woman was under the influence of alcohol and other
01:11substances.
01:13Lesby had an argument with her partner that same night and after they separated, she went
01:19alone to the phone booth.
01:20They spoke of a death by mechanical asphyxiation consistent with a partial suspension.
01:27Besides this, bruises caused by blunt force were found on the ankle, elbow and left palm
01:33considered injuries not related to a possible attack.
01:37The scene also showed no evidence of a struggle.
01:42Not even the partner she argued with that night, who also had an alibi.
01:46Not even he had been questioned.
01:50While the prosecutor's office leaked details about her private life as if they were evidence
01:55of something, many people began to wonder why.
01:59Why they kept talking so much about her alcohol consumption, whether she was studying or not,

02:33Lesby's partner, had not left the campus as he had claimed.
02:37In reality, he had stayed in the vicinity, moving through different parts of Ciudad Universitaria.
