00:11On December 14, 2024, around noon, Isaac Andick and his son Jonathan were in the Colbato area on the Montserrat
00:20mountain.
00:22They had gone out to walk the Camí de los Vechades, which is a trail near the Salmita caves, with
00:28some tourist sections and others that are narrower and closer to the ravine.
00:33Everything happened in a matter of seconds. Isaac lost his balance and fell down a drop of between 100 and
00:39150 meters.
00:41Jonathan, who was desperate, called emergency services.
00:44During the call, the son repeatedly asked for help and explained that he had lost sight of his father, who
00:51had just fallen down a ravine.
00:53Since the area is difficult to access, the rescue teams used a helicopter to locate the body and recover it

01:01The scene that the officers and rescue teams found matched that of a mountain accident.
01:07A few hours later, the body was taken for autopsy.
01:12In those first days, it was considered that the death was accidental, as we said.
01:17But Isaac's body had no marks that would confirm an accidental fall.
01:21It's quite unusual to take a 71-year-old person to do this kind of activity.
01:26And on top of that, Isaac already had a history of previous falls which showed that he was prone to
01:32falling, maybe because of his age or his health condition.
01:35And almost a year later, the case began to take on a different perspective.
01:40They stopped seeing the fall as the only possibility and focused on the idea of the possibility that it was
01:47a homicide and that someone else may have been involved.
01:50This new line of investigation reopened the case.
01:53The attention began to focus on the people who were part of the businessman's closest circle.
01:59The first name that stands out in red, which is the most obvious, is Jonathan Andik, the eldest son and

02:32Jonathan sent this to his dad in July 2024, just five months before the accident.

02:43That's why in the investigation, there are also comments from Isaac to the psychologist describing the relationship with his son
02:50as a bad one.
02:52Isaac reportedly mentioned during one of the sessions the possibility of disinheriting Jonathan.
