00:05Google is now referring to Lake Ontario as quote-unquote Lake America after Donald Trump's

00:10latest temper tantrum. And really, this is just so pathetic, the groveling on behalf of Google.

00:17Of course, we've already seen this happen with the Gulf of America. But my honest question to

00:23Google is this. Because Google's line here is saying, well, we just recognize what the countries

00:28themselves recognize. And we change the names accordingly. If the next Democratic president

00:33declares via executive order to change the body of water by Mar-a-Lago to the Jeffrey Epstein,

00:40Donald Trump memorial channel, would you change it on Google Maps? By precedent, they have to.

00:47It is just absolutely so absurd. Hey, at least we've got the OG in MapQuest who has been very clear

00:54we're not changing it. And joked on threads that our maps are big and beautiful.

01:08Overnight while you were asleep, Google Maps officially changed the name of Lake Ontario

01:12to Lake America. It happened in the dead of night in the early morning hours while most Americans were

01:18asleep. Why? Likely in an effort so that Americans didn't realize this change on Google Maps.

01:25It is now Lake America on Google Maps, just like the Gulf of Mexico is now the Gulf of America.

01:31Apple Maps still hasn't made any updates. MapQuest says it will not bend the knee to Trump and change

01:37the name. But Google Maps officially has. It also officially changed the U.S. Geological Survey.

01:43This is for Americans. Now, folks across the globe are not going to change the name of Lake Ontario

01:48just because Trump said so. But Google Maps did. Follow for more.

01:56Oh man, another day and more liberals are angry once again. And this time it is due to

02:06Uncle Trump changing the name of Lake Ontario to Lake America amidst, you know, some intense

02:16negotiations back and forth between the United States and Canada. And Doug Ford, who is the

02:23premier for Ontario, he had something to say about it. And then, of course, we're going to get into

02:32some of the liberal outrage because they are pissed. They are angry, extremely angry over

02:38a name change, which it's kind of interesting because they did the same thing. But we're

02:44going to get into that a little bit later. Let's hop into Doug Ford.

02:47Here on the shores of beautiful Lake Ontario, a crown jewel of our province and our country.

02:53You may have heard that President Trump is trying to rename this lake all because he doesn't

02:59like Ontario and Canada standing up for ourselves. But let's be serious. Long before President

03:06Trump, this lake was called Lake Ontario. And long after President Trump is gone, it will

03:13still be called Lake Ontario. But just in case President Trump or anyone else forgets, we've

03:20set up this sign to remind them it's Lake Ontario now and forever.

03:26Here on the shores of beautiful. Hey, guys, we put a nice big blue sign to let you know

03:35what this is called. My goodness, man, you can't make this stuff up. Here's a snippet of

03:43him actually on mainstream media, talking a little bit about the whole situation a little bit more.

03:50Check it out. Devastating on both countries, but it'd be definitely devastating on the US where

03:55the largest purchaser of vehicles in the entire world off the US over 400% more than anyone

04:01else. And they're already seeing the effect over $7 billion. We've stopped purchasing an

04:09X amount of vehicles. $7 billion is like shutting down a couple auto plants. So I always say, Martha,

04:16a tariff on Canada is nothing more than a tax on American people. And it's probably the worst

04:23movie could ever do. But what we saw this week were insults flying on both sides. President Trump

04:29calling you a flunky, you calling Trump a loser, a dictator, a bully. Is that really the way to handle

04:34this? Yeah. No, I think we got heated. I think it was pretty clear. I went on all the US

04:40networks and

04:41yeah, it got heated. But no, you got to eventually stand up to someone that just continuously attacks

04:47our country and insults our country. We believe in Canadian sovereignty. And I know Americans believe

04:55in having a sovereign Canada as well. It's unfortunate that he stoops down to that level.

05:02And unfortunately, I did that day. But I just think that we need to focus on a free trade agreement

05:09that will create more jobs, more opportunities on both sides of the border.

05:14You know, yeah, we definitely need to, um, um, even the score a little bit. Okay. That's for darn

05:21sure. Cause Canada has most certainly been taking advantage of us for quite some time. Now I want to

05:28get into the liberal backlash because they are angry. Check it out. That's bent the knee again,

05:38again. First, it was the Gulf of America when it's called the Gulf of Mexico. And now that orange

05:44dementia patient in office said, I don't like the name Lake Ontario. I'm going to call it Lake

05:51America. And Google said, yes, daddy, I will call it Lake America for you. Here's what you're going

05:57to do. You're not going to complain. You're going to go in your phone. You're going to delete,

06:02delete Google maps or just stop using it. Sadly, not all phones, Android users,

06:07to be exact. Don't allow you to delete Google maps. They can only disable it. So do that.

06:12Then you're going to download map quest because map quest said we're not changing it or download

06:18any other map service that said, yeah, we're not going to bend the knee. We don't support

06:22dictatorships. We don't support authoritarianism. That's not his Lake. That's Canada's Lake.

06:29You can't just go around saying, I don't like this. I'm going to change the name. And then we let

06:34him do it. So if Google is going to comply, if Google is going to bend the knee, delete Google

06:40maps, that will hurt their pockets. They get ad revenue from Google maps. So guess what? Stop

06:46giving them revenue, delete the app, use map quests. And we're not going to use Google maps

06:52until they revert back to the original map. That's how you make them stop. Hurt their pockets.

07:04Well, maps actually did it. If you live in the United States and you wake up this morning and you

07:11happen to go to Google maps, you might notice that Lake Ontario has been changed officially

07:18in Google maps to Lake America. This isn't a glitch either. Google actually confirmed it

07:26in a released statement yesterday, August 29th on the name change. This is their post. They said

07:33the U S geographic names information system, GNIS has formally changed the name from Lake Ontario to

07:39Lake America in the United States. Since we update Google maps to reflect name changes and official

07:44government sources, which is GNIS for the United States. People using maps in the U S will see

07:50Lake America. Those in Canada will see Lake Ontario and those outside the U S and Canada will see both

07:57names. These updates follow our longstanding policy for bodies of water with names that vary from country

08:04to country and are starting to roll out now. So if you live in the United States, this is what

08:09you will

08:10see. You will see Lake America. If you live in Canada, Google left you alone. And they said you

08:15will see Lake Ontario. And I guess the rest of the world will just be confused because they'll wake up

08:20and they'll see Lake Ontario with parentheses, Lake America with a huge line map quest. They still

08:27haven't budged. They're not changing their name yet. Apple maps still the same. They haven't changed.

08:37So Google, they said, yes, yes, daddy, Trump. We got you. Well, so CBC out with this headline,

08:49after it was changed in U S government database as of like, they have no control. Oh, well we're just

08:55changing it because it's a database changed it. So that's, that's why you don't have the ability to

09:00think for yourselves. No, they're doing this because they are purposely capitulating to Trump.

09:05Yeah. So as y'all can see, uh, liberals are having a really hard time dealing with, you know,

09:15the name change, but it's, it's funny because they had no problem with name changes when it came to

09:22things like the, uh, um, Washington Redskins, um, Aunt Jemima. Yeah. They took the black lady off of the

09:32syrup bottle and named it what it's like some generic name now, like, uh, something mills or

09:39something, palmetto mills or something. I don't know. Like what? And it's funny because it came

09:47from liberals. Like took the black woman off in the same thing with, uh, you, you guys remember uncle

09:55Benz, uncle Benz, the black guy that was on, that was on the rice took him off too. It's like,

10:02dang, why are you taking the black people off? They accuse us of being racist, but they're the

10:08ones taking the black folks off of all the products. Incredible. You can't make it up,

10:16man. You really can't. They had no problem changing names and changing statues and changing, uh,

10:22the names of forts and things, right. Uh, and everything else. But now because uncle Trump

10:29changed the name of, uh, to, to, to Lake America in, uh, the Gulf of America, it's all of a

10:37sudden

10:37some huge travesty. Interesting how that works. So it's cool if they do it, but it's a problem if
