00:15You know, it has been a fun first two weeks as a Jalen Hurts guy
00:22because Hurts vs. Herbert is this fun little off-to-the-side war.
00:30Where, you know, watch the film. Herbert can make every throw.
00:35And then it's watch the games. Jalen Hurts actually does the things that lead to the results that matter.
00:43And what happened this offseason is the Herbert guys thought it was their time.
00:51And they put their chips on the table.
00:54This offense is going to cook. This offense will be one of the best in football.
00:58In all, Herbert might just win MVP.
01:01And it was honestly a pretty good bet.
01:04First two weeks, Cardinals and Raiders.
01:07And we left the first two weeks without a win.
01:11And serious people seriously asking,
01:15Is the Cardinals roster better than the Chargers?

01:21Looks like we should have just kept the Herbert stuff to ourself
01:25and gone back to old no-expectations Justin.
01:28Now we have to blame everyone else imaginable in LA,
01:35including his girlfriend or fiancé or wife.
01:39I don't really know.
01:41I just know she hates this.
01:43Buffalo, on the other hand,
01:45well, that actually looks like the best offense
01:47with just an unstoppable quarterback in Josh Allen right now.
01:54Joe, what catches your eye the most here
01:56as the Bills are a touchdown favorite at home?
02:00Well, I understand why they're a touchdown favorite at home.
02:03However, with the fact they've given up 62 points
02:06in the first two games of the year,
02:07can we just remind everybody as great as Josh Allen has been?
02:10That defense is giving up a ridiculous amount of points.
02:13And also, we have the health of DJ Moore in question right now for that game.
02:16It seems like he's trending towards playing.
02:17How effective will he be?
02:19Will he be more of a decoy?
02:20I mean, we saw week one, Jamar Chase was playing,
02:23and he was okay, but he wasn't playing football.
02:26There was no way in week one he was.
02:27Week two, things were a little better.
02:28So I am suspect of how healthy DJ Moore is in this game.
02:31And to your point, the Chargers have really just spit it, man.
02:34Like, you have to handle your business in these first two games.
02:37Because if you don't, when you look at the upcoming schedule for them,
02:40it is brutal.
02:41After today, which is also not great, at Seattle,
02:44then they play the Denver Broncos defense,
02:46then they go on the road to Kansas City,
02:47then they're at home for a road game against the Rams,
02:51then Houston, and then at Baltimore.
02:53So you tell me, Kev, where's the win here for the Chargers
02:56if they don't sneak one through today?
02:58And I think more to the point, it's how this Charger team has looked,
03:01which is, I'll be, raise my hand right here.
03:04I thought Mike McDaniel would come in here,
03:07have a real quarterback with a real live arm,
03:09and be able to do some significantly fun things
03:12in this league with this Charger offense.
03:14And it has been anything but fun so far to begin the year.
03:17I think the total for the over in this game is the way to look for it.
03:20I think this is the last gasp here for Harbaugh and McDaniel to get things right,
03:24because if they don't, my God, we could be looking at a top five pick for the Chargers.
03:28That's how bad things can get for this team, potentially.
03:30Yeah, I think one of the things is, is we try and kind of figure out,
03:33like, who to blame through the first two weeks.
03:36Because it is important to, like, I don't think we're going to pick our heads up
03:40and say, like, guys, losing to Arizona and Vegas, those aren't bad losses.
03:44I don't think at the end of the year we're going to, like, circle back
03:47and be like, no, no, no, it was totally fine.
03:49And as much as I am enjoying kind of this Herbert scramble,
03:54I think there's a lot of how do you on the Chargers in this game
03:56because of how Joe laid it out.
03:59The Buffalo defense is bad.
04:01The part of the Josh Allen preseason MVP case isn't just, oh, he's so good.
04:09It's, oh, he's going to be in some shootouts.
04:11And that's exactly what we've seen to open this season.
04:15So, when I try and kind of figure out the best way to attack this game,
04:21while it is likely Buffalo gets to the numbers that they're being asked to get to here,
04:29I'd rather bet the Chargers because it's a much easier ask.
04:32They have a team total at 20 and a half.
04:36Here's the funny thing.
04:37The Chargers defense has not been good, and it's nowhere near the story.
04:42The emphasis and pressure today is on this Chargers offense to show up.
04:47But they're also kind of going to play, I think, Joe, a little bit freer.
04:52One, the Bills defense is bad.
04:54But two, they know they're a dog, right?
04:57Like, they know, like, oh, we're not actually supposed to win this football game here.
05:02I wouldn't be stunned if it's at the half 17-13 Chargers.
05:09That would be unsurprising to me here.
