00:21All right we are just leaving a little village called Chiang Dao we spent the
00:29last couple days here at this off-grid cabin in the mountains if you haven't
00:35seen our last video go and check it out it's been a good little reset from
00:41civilization very peaceful and quiet a little bit of rain but other than that
00:49it's been perfect we're just driving to Pai now which is about a three-hour drive
00:56I'm gonna make a couple of stops along the way and then we got about five days
01:03in Pai which is pretty much the main reason we flew from Hua Hin to Chiang Mai
01:08is to go to Pai because it's one of the only places in Thailand we haven't been
01:12yet and we've really wanted to go for a long time and for great things hopefully
01:16the weather holds up and it doesn't rain too much because it has been raining here
01:20a little bit it's been peaceful though I've actually really enjoyed it it's
01:26been really nice yeah I'm pumped to check out Pai so we'll get on the road
01:43okay I'm just investigating looks like there's lots of yoga studios in Pai but
01:50looks like they all start at 10 a.m. in the morning which is pretty late
01:53wouldn't I like starting our day with yoga it's the best way to start but
02:00definitely going to hit a yoga class while we're there has lots of reviews too
02:04and they're all really good reviews so I'm excited to see what the yoga scene is

05:10me just slams his bag on top of my backpack I'm worried that when we get off the flight my

05:15going to be in pieces or my computer is not going to be working because it's being damaged during the

15:17So we've got a few days here and we're going to check them all out I think.
15:20It was hissing down rain on the way here but it's just stopped which is great.

16:09We looked at tons of hotels in Pai and this one had thousands of five star reviews.

16:20It looks really nice so we'll probably give you a tour when we get there.

16:27We might just stay in and have dinner there tonight.

17:02We've just arrived at the Reds.
17:04reverie siam resort and i can see why this place has such good reviews the manager just gave us a
17:10quick tour around and this place is incredible it has only about 20 rooms so it feels like we're
17:19almost the only ones here it's extremely quiet and it's right on the riverbank here so there's
17:24four types of rooms there's the i believe i think it's called the deluxe balcony and then the pool
17:30access which is what we're in we can literally walk straight out of our room into this fresh water
17:35pool it's not a chlorine pool it's a fresh water pool and then there's a second pool as well which
17:41is just like a regular pool which looks awesome and then you've got two different types of villas
17:47so we're actually staying in one of the jacuzzi villas tomorrow night so we decided we wanted to
17:55try both rooms and check them out so we'll give a review on both rooms and which is better
17:59uh but the room we're in now honestly is awesome mandy's in there just taking a nap and i've just
18:05taken a walk around uh the resort to check it out and um it's so peaceful and quiet here this

18:11exactly what we needed i think especially with mandy's energy levels i think coming somewhere where
18:17it's nice and peaceful and quiet it's not too much going on and it's not too much stimulation for her
18:23especially i don't mind it too much but it can get a bit draining and then the manager also
18:28recommended a bunch of stuff for us to do we're going to go check out this local farm
18:33uh on sunday or monday and then mandy's going to do a tattoo course and i think i'm going to
18:39let her
18:40tattoo me so and then there's like floating on the river there's so many different things she
18:44recommended for us to do like 10 different things so we're going to try and fit them all in as
18:47much
18:47as we can and then probably by the end of this trip we'll have like a whole uh list of
18:53things we can
18:54recommend for you to do but yeah this resort i can definitely see why it has so many five star
18:59reviews and the restaurant and the bar look amazing so i think we're pretty tired from our
19:05travel we got up pretty early today uh i don't think we're going to leave the hotel for the rest
19:10of the day i think we're going to just stay here mandy's having a nap now and uh i might
19:15go back to
19:16the room and see if she's up and we'll go for a swim before dinner and i'm excited to see

19:23dinner looks like because the restaurant looks amazing there's also uh an office space that you
19:28can have for the whole day like you can book it out which is pretty handy i might actually do

19:32because i need to do some recording while we're here so um it's like a full-on old school looking
19:39office place this whole hotel i don't know who decorated it but it's like got this real like uh
19:46old school style design to it everything you can tell they put so much thought into everything
19:52and the fact that it's not like crowded with a lot of people and it's on the river i think

19:58is for it to be like a really peaceful nice relaxing retreat which is exactly what it is and actually
20:05pie just gives me that vibe already so i'm excited to see what the rest of pie looks like i'm
