00:00Grab four paper towel holders and two pumpkin wreath forms from the dollar store.
00:04Spray paint both wreaths with silver metallic spray paint.
00:08Take two paper towel holders and secure them together horizontally side by side using zip ties.
00:16Attach both pumpkin wreath forms together at the bottom using zip ties.
00:21Wrap some burlap around a scrap piece of styrofoam and secure it in place.
00:25Adhere a variety of faux pumpkins to the burlap cover piece.
00:30Place the burlap pumpkin piece inside the connected pumpkin wreath forms and secure it in place with a zip tie.
00:37Glue a wood block to each of the connected paper towel holders.
00:41Glue two wooden dowels together then secure them to the bottom of the wreath forms of zip ties.
00:47Finally glue the dowels to the block pieces.
00:50Add metallic spray painted leaves around the bottom to provide additional filler and conceal the zip ties.
00:56And there you have it.
00:58A cute pumpkin carriage centerpiece ready to display.
01:02I hope this inspires you to make your own and add a little fall fun to your space.
01:07This fall project takes me down to Dollar Tree where I'm going to grab a brownie pan.
01:12This is the perfect size.
01:13I'm also going to grab a spatula.
01:15Just a little cheap one will do the tricks.
01:17I'm also going to grab four of these caps that came at the Dollar Tree.
01:21I'm going to need those.
01:22Back to that brownie pan.
01:23I need to paint both sides of this but I'm going to start with the bottom.
01:26And I got this nice beautiful ruby red color.
01:29I'm going to spray it and give it a nice smooth coat.
01:32And then I'm going to let that dry but I make sure I get all the sides.
01:36Next I'm going to turn my attention to those caps.
01:38I'm going to spray paint those black.
01:40Get the tops and the sides.
01:42Once those are drying I'm going to turn the pan back around and get that ruby red right on the
01:47inside and the edges.
01:48And then back to the caps again and make sure I get those on the inside.
01:53Once that's done I'm going to get me a little quarter inch dowel.
01:56And I'm going to measure it to size and I'm going to cut it.
01:59I need to cut two of these exactly the same length to make sure that's done.
02:03I'm going to put them together and sand the edges to give them a nice flat base.
02:06Then I'm going to go back to those caps right on the inside in the middle.
02:10I'm going to hot glue one of those dowels down.
02:14Once I get that done I'm going to get them both done.
02:17I'm going to turn it around and do it on another cap.
02:20I want that glue to ooze out because it's going to be nice and strong.
02:24Once it dries then I'm going to go around and make sure it's really strong by putting more glue in.
02:29Then I need to paint the wood dowel and paint it with that black color the same as with those
02:34caps.
02:35And then it's back to the spatula.
02:36I do want to paint that black with the same color.
02:39Once that's done I turn my silhouette machine and I'm going to put a little logo on the side here.
02:44This one says harvest.
02:45I'm going to put it right on the side of that ruby red tin.
02:48And then I'm also going to cut out some circles of white and put those on the axle.
02:53Then it's back to that spatula.
02:55I'm going to mark out on one side where the spatula goes because I need to hot glue it.
03:00So following those little marks I made I'm going to run some hot glue up and down all around inside
03:05there.
03:06And then take the spatula very carefully.
03:08Make sure it's nice and straight and put it in place and let it dry.
03:12And then I'm going to take that red and squirt it on there just to cover up some of that
03:15glue.
03:16And then on the very end of that pan I'm going to run the hot glue all the way down
03:20the side.
03:21And I'm going to put that dowel with the caps on there.
03:24Let it sit and then I'm going to do the same to the front.
03:27Once I put it in you just have to hold it 15 to 20 seconds and then it's good.
03:31And now it's time to decorate.
03:33You can see what I'm forming here.
03:35I love this little fall wagon.
03:37And I got all these decorations at the Dollar Tree.
03:40It's beautiful.
03:41I love how it sits.
03:43And then I got a surprise.
03:44Not only did I put the word harvest on one side.
03:47But I can turn it around and put another slogan that says autumn.
03:50It's up to you how you want to decorate.
03:52I love this centerpiece.
03:54It's easy and it's beautiful.
03:56For this project you're going to need some stovetop burners.
03:59Start by placing your burners upside down onto some cardboard boxes.
04:03Spray paint the borders with orange spray paint.
04:06While the paint's drying glue your boards together.
04:09Once the burners are dry, place them on top of your wood boards and then hot glue them into place
04:16to secure them.
04:17Grab your vine and wrap it around the wood boards in between and around the burners.
04:23Grab some ribbon, cut it off, and make a bow.
04:26Hot glue the ribbon into place above each of the burner pans.
04:30Cut out a pumpkin face and place it onto the burners.
04:35Use some glue and glue the faces into place.
04:38Your pumpkin display is ready.
04:40I place mine in a little flower pot and by my front door.
04:43When it starts to feel like fall, I immediately run to Dollar Tree and grab eight coils of nautical rope.
04:49I also pick up two of their pumpkin wreath forms to make this amazing project.
04:54I start by adding some hot glue to the wreath form and begin to tightly wrap the rope around each
04:59spoke of the pumpkin.
05:00I continue doing this for all of the vertical sections.
05:03I save the outside sections for later.
05:06I quickly realize that needing to start a new rope in the middle of a section looks messy.
05:11So for the rest, I just cut each rope in half and use each length to wrap the entire spoke
05:16so that it doesn't happen again.
05:17I do the same for the other pumpkin.
05:19Now I'm cutting off the excess rope.
05:22Then I use some thin floral wire to attach both wreath forms together.
05:26They aren't a mirror image of one another, but that's okay.
05:30I have an idea to fix the lopsided stem later.
05:33Using more hot glue, I start from the bottom and wrap the now connected edges with my rope.
05:38I'm not too worried about the bottom being messy.
05:41Once I have the entire outside of the now three-dimensional pumpkin wrapped,
05:45I grab some thinner white cotton rope and wrap it around the wonky stem.
05:50I'm adding the hot glue on top of the rope so that it stacks on itself rather than attaching it
05:56directly to the wire.
05:58I also taper the rope as I go up the stem so that it looks a little bit more three
06:03-dimensional.
06:03Next, I place the wrapped pumpkin into a shallow basket.
06:07When I think of early fall, I always picture my big, beautiful hydrangeas that turn a gorgeous shade of pinkish
06:14burgundy when it starts to get chilly.
06:16So I clip a few of these and I head back inside.
06:19Finally, I just tuck my hydrangeas into the gaps in the finished pumpkin to lay in the basket.
06:24The best thing about these hydrangeas is that they'll dry perfectly in this arrangement, so I won't need to worry
06:30about watering them.
06:32I hope this inspired you to bring a little bit of fall into your home this week.
06:36Head to your local dollar store and pick up three splash guards with handles from the kitchen section.
06:42Once you're home, spray paint them in a fun fall color.
06:46I went with coral. It's a fresh twist on the classic pumpkin orange.
06:50Lay two of the splash guards flat with the handles facing down.
06:55Place the third splash guard on the top with the handle facing up.
07:00Next, secure the pieces with floral wire.
07:02Thread the wire through the mesh and around the handles on the bottom two splash guards.
07:08Repeat on the other side and then wire the top handle in place.
07:13Trim any extra wire with sharp scissors.
07:16Now let's dress things up a bit.
07:18Tie some jute twine to the bottom of the top handle.
07:23Then wrap it around the handle until it's completely covered.
07:27Push the twine snugly together as you wrap and finish with a dab of hot glue to hold the end
07:34piece in place.
07:35For some greenery, wire a eucalyptus stem or any faux greenery you love to the top handle.
07:42Add in some faux flowers, arranging them however you like.
07:46I went with an asymmetrical look.
07:49To hide any wires, hot glue individual leaves right over the spots that show.
07:56Want to add some extra charm?
07:58Drill a small hole in the top of a few mini wood pieces.
08:03I like using three.
08:05Odd numbers look best.
08:07Thread them with jute twine and tie them onto the handle at varying hang lengths.
08:14Then, for an added touch, hot glue a little faux white pumpkin among the greenery toward the top for a
08:22sweet finishing touch.
08:23Fold the bottom splash guard handles backward so your pumpkin can stand tall with its anchors in place.
08:32You might have to push a little bit and hold it in place, but it shouldn't break and it will
08:38hold that pumpkin standing tall.
08:41And there you have it, a budget-friendly, creative pumpkin you can display anywhere you want a pop of festive
08:48fall style in your home.
08:49Yeah.
08:53All right.
08:55Well, thank you very much.
08:59There's a path outside.
