00:06Green Bay Packers, who've gotten up to a slow start themselves a little bit on that side of the ball.
00:10And by the way, no Michael Parsons tonight. So what's your take on the Packers? How do you attack them
00:14if you're the Falcons tonight?
00:17Well, I love their two inside linebackers, Dan. Those two guys on the inside, when you start talking about Edron
00:22Cooper and Zaire Franklin, they're tackling machines. Cooper brings the multitude of being able to rush the passer as well.
00:30But Franklin, I mean, what, four consecutive seasons where he's had 125 tackles? He's all over the field. So I
00:36think some of the numbers and you talked about how, you know, the first couple of weeks or September is
00:41the Liars month.
00:41I think it lies a little bit about some of the talent they do have on the Green Bay side.
00:46Now, they've they've been there's a rash of injuries along their offensive line and they'll be affected by this that
00:52tonight because they're going to have to their starters will be out along the offensive line and they have not
00:56been able to run the football with Josh Jacobs out.
00:59They kind of had running back by committee and it really hasn't come together. So it's all been loaded on
01:04Jordan Love to make plays.
01:06They've tried to incorporate the screen game to stretch there to kind of facilitate their run game by throwing the
01:12ball to wide receivers. But they struggled with that some on the side.
01:16I think Coach Gannon has done a nice job of mixing things up. When you look at they had a
01:22quarter and a half against Minnesota that kind of went sideways. Otherwise, they played pretty good defense.
01:27They played pretty good defense last weekend against the Jets in getting that win in overtime. But they do a
01:32good job of mixing things up. If you let them get into those third down situations, he gives you a
01:37multitude of looks.
01:38And with the new quarterback in with Penix just coming back and that could cause some problems for Atlanta tonight.
01:44Jordan Love, what's your take on him? I think he's a streaky player, David.
01:49I mean, at times he looks like he's one of the top quarterbacks in the league. And another time he
01:54just looks like he's lost out there at times. I mean, is that kind of your spin on him or
01:58do you see it different?
02:00Yeah, I think that the streak would be a good call. He's like a three point shooter that starts hitting
02:05him and he's in a rhythm. If he doesn't, then he misses some, maybe take some shots down the field.
02:09So, you know, as well as I do, Dan, you love to have a little bit of a run game
02:13to help mix in, to help take some of the pressure off of him.
02:16I think that's some of what's going on there with Coach LeFleur and Jordan Love.
