00:49the field too kind of did it like a slow job he looked me in the face and said he
00:53was good and then he was out for the rest even when you never saw him play again right you
00:56know so it's just a
00:58different mindsets of different mindsets of different people and when I heard that I was like nah that's just him
01:02trying to be tough he can't play in that damn game and dude I very specifically don't want to open
01:08the phones on this but I do want to have a conversation because there is this groundswell among some commanders
01:15fans that the injury prone nature for Jaden is just too significant and the team needs to move on which
01:21I think is nuts and I think it's nuts for a few different factors
01:23the level of play we've seen Jaden Daniels play as a rookie is so hard to find think about all
01:30the quarterbacks that came through Washington for 30 years it was so hard to find that level of play and
01:37he displayed he has that right totally I am not someone that walks away from that I'm not in a
01:43hurry to walk away from that and I recognize the injuries are significant right as a rookie he injured the
01:49ribs was able to play through it showed you how tough he was
01:51the offense sputtered a bit while he was playing hurt but then he came back and got red hot the
01:55second half of the season and that 2024 season was a rocket ship yeah right last year you have the
02:01injuries on and off throughout the season he makes he plays four complete games makes seven starts it's a lost
02:07season this year we don't know what's going to happen he's now injured week two maybe he misses three four
02:13games maybe it's the year we don't know maybe he has to get surgery like we just don't
02:17know but you're I would guess and I don't know this either but in New York now granted he's only
02:23a second year player not a third like Jaden is but Dart year one when he was on the field
02:28seemed to be in and out of the blue tent constantly all the time and I don't watch the Giants
02:34like I do the commanders like I don't know every play but like he seemed to be battling injuries throughout
02:40the I think he started like 12 games totally now you get to year two week two and he it
02:46appears he blows
02:47out his knee might miss the season this could be proven wrong but I can't imagine anybody in New York
02:52is like oh they got to move forward oh they got to draft another guy that's that that's that now
02:57granted it's two years versus three years that's that microwave mindset of most people out there where immediately that's just

03:24backing away from him because he was short and he felt all that arm and never get right what did
03:29he do I sometimes you just gotta the thing of it is what I love is this I get irritated
03:36by that type of fan but I'm also happy that they never can make the decisions
03:42sure and the thing I'm like if a person has exceptional talent you take chances you you're a little bit
03:49more patient when they don't you're not patient but you know I see injuries all the time I just I
03:55just wonder why some guys is a super narrative and some guys is not

04:25think I do think it's a small subset of fans but like
04:28the folks that are like gotta move forward this dude can't stay healthy let's see if you're proven right you
04:33may be proven correct but I think now with this elbow thing they're going to examine
04:38every option and whether that is you know build the world's best brace or he has to get surgery like
04:44we'll see how it transpires but to me the level of play we saw in
04:492024 is incredibly hard to find true think about the names and players that came through this organization
04:59and then tell me you're in the world's biggest hurry to throw that aside because yes the injuries have been

05:05undoubtedly but like you're that confident that if it's a top five pick that the next dude will be the
05:14dude because it's really hard for that to prove the one guy who's proving his point right now is Joe

05:21he's been as hurt he's been he's been hurt as much as anybody in this sport that play that position
05:27he got the big contract and they keep waiting every time he gets hurt right because he is an exceptional
05:33damn talent and I think that's that's why you got some people that call in the stations and try to

06:55putting together an offense that really accentuated who Robert was it was what one read take off a ton of
07:01zone read running like that wasn't very sustainable like you were trying to develop Robert into being
07:08a pocket passer but there's there's no certainty that that was going to happen Jaden has shown you
07:15he could beat you in the pocket do you know how hard it is to find these things like Drake

07:27MVP through two games Drake May looks bad like and you know what these players there's probably
07:34some fool or some cluster of fools that are saying get rid of Drake May probably you know I'm saying

07:47believe in giving them a platform if if I know that's what you're going to do all the time I'm
07:53not listening to you if I know that you could come in and give me a legitimate reason why you're
07:57thinking something I'll listen to whatever you have to say but there are a bunch of people who just want
08:02to agitate and and and push push the certain narratives and I refuse to ever really listen to
08:07those people I just thought it was like a worthy conversation considering the dark situation
08:11um and I I just like for me and people want to get caught up in the contract stuff
08:17there is the easiest path easiest path forward here yet whether it's Peters Josh Harris whoever
08:24come out and say oh we're picking up the option as soon as we can we're picking up that fifth

09:39reluctance to remember the height with which Jaden Daniels played in this city now that the same
09:47injury continues to be a factor right like this left elbow thing is so weird and fluky and they've
09:53got to get it figured out and if that means he has to miss two months that like you've got

10:332024 them getting to the NFC title game largely because of Jaden Daniels like don't forget that
