The filmer, Brigitte, told WooGlobe, “I saw a young Canada goose caught in a yellow shopping bag. She couldn’t fly or swim with it and would have died, so I decided to help. But she was fast. I finally caught her while she tried to hide in the bushes. First, I freed one leg, then one wing after the other. She jumped up, clearly relieved to be free. She returned to her parents, and together they went into the river to drink water in the heat. The next day, she came back to me as if to say, "Thank you."
