00:06So a man from Kundapur in Udupi district was allegedly brutally murdered in Sharjah in July,
00:12with the shocking details of the crime coming to light nearly two months later.
00:16The deceased has been identified as Alvin Krakash Kundar, a native of Kundapur,
00:20who had been working at Sharjah airport for around 14 years.
00:24He had been living in Sharjah with his wife Tina Kundar and their teenage son.
00:30According to the family, Prakash had visited his hometown in December last year before returning to Sharjah.
00:35His wife Tina, a native of Udupi, works as a school teacher while their son is studying in class 10.
00:44So strange message raised suspicion.
00:47Prakash's brother Anil Prashant Kundar said that he tried contacting him around July 20th.
00:52Prakash did not answer the call, but sent a text message saying that he was fine.
00:56The family found this unusual as Prakash normally communicated through voice messages.
01:00When Anil tried calling again about a week later, there was still no response.
01:05And they were concerned about Prakash.
01:11And then Anil contacted Prakash's classmate Manohar in Sharjah and asked him to check on him.

01:20What more details are we gathering as far as the investigation is concerned?
01:24And why did it take two months for this case to come to light?
01:29If you notice that his brother had a suspicious over the family members and he was trying to reach out
01:37to his brother.
01:38However, he used to get a response.
01:40He never used to answer the call.
01:41However, he used to get a response saying that I'm fine.
01:43I'm doing well.
01:45However, he was suspicious that he never used to reply like this.
01:48He used to have a conversation with them.
01:49And he claimed that in the month of August onwards, there was no response.
01:55And he tried to reach out to the family members.
01:57Family members either answered the call or responded to him.
02:01And thereafter, he approached one of the friends of the deceased, Manohar in Sharjah.
02:06And he requested him to check in their house.
02:08The house was locked.
02:09And they claimed that everybody went back to India.
02:12And even in the office, the HR department have told the brother, stating that they are back in India and
02:19they are not working in Sharjah.
02:21And when he tried to check, he informed the HR department, stating that when he checked everywhere, they are not
02:27in India.
02:28They should be back in Sharjah.
02:30However, the HR, which have tried to verify the information, that's when they realized that he's still back in Sharjah,
02:38he's not in India.
02:39And with the help of his brother, they have raised a complaint in Sharjah.
02:43That's when police have found out that a body was found near Oman Airport, which was chopped into nine pieces.
02:51And the brother has identified that it was his brother Alvin Kundar.
02:55And thereafter, a death certificate has been given.
02:58And they have initiated an investigation.
03:01And according to brother, he has alleged that their family members were there when they carried the bag from the
03:07house to the car.
03:09And it was his own car.
03:11And after dumping the body in the car, they have come back to India.
03:15So he has filed a complaint in UDP to investigate further.
03:19And as we speak now, the police of UDP is also investigating on the issue.
