01:02isolated but here the government is saying this place is safe this was a murder which was a pre-planned
01:08conspiracy and hence there were no locals behind it as was being speculated earlier isn't it
01:14so this is an isolated case as you mentioned yes and uh locals after finding out what has actually
01:21happened to Sonam Raghubanshi they are they are now furious because they had earlier also claimed that
01:26uh that Meghalaya is a safe state because we have a lot of stories coming in every single day
01:31and one isolated uh incident cannot term Meghalaya as a crime prone hill that's what some outlets had
01:38earlier declared so right after Raja Raghubanshi and Sonam Raghubanshi's missing case was registered
01:45Meghalaya police turned also no turned no I mean they immediately began this can you hear me

01:59Raja Raghubanshi's body was recovered from the cliff the gorge that is near way south down waterfall
02:05they they continued the search for Sonam Raghubanshi they recovered a weapon and uh the SP had said that
02:13the weapon was purchased online and it was fairly new so a weapon that was not uh that is generally not
02:19used by the locals that was recovered from the site of murder and then the police continued search for
02:25Sonam Raghubanshi a few days later uh CCTV footage was uh uh retrieved and there we found that uh Sonam
02:34Raghubanshi was wearing a raincoat and the same raincoat resembled the one that the police had
02:40recovered from Mokuma that is in Sora so these things are led to the police to question whether
02:46it was a case of homicide in fact in the very beginning the police said it was a case of
02:51homicide but they were not sure whether it was murder and after the a lot of investigation
02:57they found out that it was actually a murder that was done that's right and it's been planned
03:01for days together is what is clear isn't it Amritanshi you know the girl was absconding for
03:08just so many days together 23rd of may is the last time that they had established contact with the
03:13family talk to us about how she called Amritanshi her family from gazipur in up that call was made to
03:21endure and the family members then in fact called the police can you tell us a little more about what
03:27happened there uh so uh when Raja Raghubanshi's bodies was found in the gorge after that Sonam
03:37there were no traces of Sonam so there was a manhunt for Sonam uh in the other place near the gorge and
03:44uh all around the place in Meghalaya and Shilong uh but after that uh some of the traces like uh Sonam's
03:51white shirt was found near the body of Raja Raghubanshi her raincoat was found uh near the body of Raja Raghubanshi
03:57and after that some CCTV footages were clearly indicating that Sonam was missing on and the audio
04:03also uh Sonam around like 4 a.m in the morning uh today reached at a dhaba in the gazipur and she
04:11called uh her brother she took the phone of the dhaba owner and she video called her brother and
04:17told him that i am in gazipur right now because Sonam's brother was in Shilong he was also there to
04:23find Sonam with the police and also the family were pressurizing police to find Sonam as soon as
04:28possible because they were thinking that Sonam was abducted by someone other after Raja Raghubanshi's
04:33murder but she phone called him at 4 a.m today uh the brother of Sonam Raghubanshi informed the
04:40indoor police that Sonam has called her and after that indoor police informed the gazipur police that
04:47Sonam is there at a dhaba in the gazipur uh then the police reached the gazipur and they said that
04:53Sonam surrendered after that and right now Sonam is at the one-stop center she is getting the medical
