00:25On Saturday, September 19, 2026, a 23-year-old woman was found inside a Wagga home with multiple stab wounds.
00:33A 31-year-old man was arrested nine hours later and was charged with domestic violence-related murder.
00:40Police say he had been in a relationship with the victim.
00:43Life-saving measures were attempted, but unfortunately that lady passed away at the scene.
00:48Later, the same day, a Bondi Beach woman aged in her 90s was found with significant stab wounds to her
00:54torso.
00:55She died at the scene and a 47-year-old man, who police say knew the victim, was charged with
01:02alleged domestic violence-related murder.
01:05He was cooperative with police at the scene where he was arrested, taken to Surrey Hills Police Station,
01:10and throughout the evening underwent forensic procedures, interviews, and was charged with murder.
01:16Again, on Saturday, the body of a 70-year-old woman was found at Mole River in the state's north.
01:22Police had responded to reports of a domestic violence situation in the area around 9.30pm.
01:29Just after 12.45 on Sunday, September 20, three children and a woman were found with stab wounds in a
01:36vehicle in Valley Heights near the Blue Mountains.
01:39Members of the public rendered first aid to the woman and surviving children after finding one child had already died.
01:47All of the children are believed to be under the age of five.
