00:02The Government of Venezuela released an updated official report detailing the
00:07figures on the damage, losses and measures taken after the earthquake's
00:10stroke on June 24th. According to the official report released on July 10th
00:152026 the death toll has risen to 4,118 while the number of injured remains at
00:2216,740. Authorities also reported that 6,462 people have been rescued. The report
00:31indicates that 86,794 families have received assistance and 17,266 people are
00:40in temporary camps while 17,907 families have lost their homes. In addition, 856
00:48buildings have been damaged and 190 have collapsed. Relief efforts have included
00:55the distribution of 9,766 tonnes of food and 13,902,828 litres of water while
01:0529,966 people have received medical treatment. A total of 3,454 international
01:14rescue workers are assisting the country alongside 30,076 deployed personnel and
01:2129,843 volunteers. Finally, authorities also reported the establishment of 89
01:27temporary camps and the recording of 1,171 aftershocks.
