00:05It's a trip that blends the most remarkable views with science the whole way around.
00:09So come with me on a tour of the most remote continent in the world.
00:15So guests have been dreaming for a long time often to come to Antarctica and have very
00:21high expectations and very often high expectations about what they will see.
00:26It's the pictures they will take, the scenery that they will get on these voyages and I think
00:33when they come here and they also get a deep dive into the science and the background of
00:41everything they see, the experience becomes much more meaningful. The thought process,
00:47the mindset about what Antarctica is and how important it is to preserve it is something
00:53that they then bring with them. We are guest scientists doing a pathogen surveillance project.
00:59So we are collecting poops. We're glorified poop scoopers actually is how we're known on board.
01:06So each landing site that the guests go on shore we will glove up, mask up and have our
01:14sample bags and we will go and collect a set number of samples for the wildlife that's ashore.
