00:00As far as touchdowns go tonight, you know, Craig, when you get a 55 total here, somebody's
00:08got to score.
00:10But none of these prices are exciting me with some of these guys for an anytime touchdown
00:15because the books already know Jameer Gibbs is, okay, great.
00:20Josh, I mean, look at these, look at these prices here, Craig.
00:24I mean, I really, I mean, where do you not go?
00:27Like pick your, so who on that list would you not want to bet as an anytime touchdown play?
00:33Really?
00:35Yeah.
00:36You don't think, no, you're not buying him as the new one, number one form?
00:41No, no, I think Kincaid more.
00:43By the way, let me go back to James Cook for a minute because the guys are giving me a
00:47little hard time.
00:49So I want to go back to last year, if you don't mind, because it's the only recency bias that
00:53I have.
00:54So James Cook in week one of the NFL season this year had 13 carries, correct?
01:01Correct.
01:01What was the least, what, how many times did James Cook had less than 13 carries in an
01:08NFL game last year?
01:09How many times would you say?
01:11I don't think it was much.
01:14Maybe a handful of games.
01:16Because he would.
01:16That would be correct.
01:17Zero.
01:18Yeah.
01:18So week, so week one, James Cook, how many, he got 13 carries last week.
01:23How many did he get in week one the week before that?
01:27I'm sorry, the year before that.
01:28In a 41 to 40 win against Baltimore.
01:31How many carries did he get?
01:34I'm going to tell you, Joe, it's not fair.
01:36In week one, that game was wild.
01:37He had to have 20 plus.
01:39No, it wasn't 20 plus.
01:4013.
01:4113.
01:42Okay.
01:43Really?
01:43Now, now, would you like to know James Cook's 44?
01:48Do you know how many carries he had the next week and how many yards he had?
01:52He had 21 carries for 132 yards.
01:55And how about the week after that when he had 19 for 108?
01:59And how about the week after that when he had 22 for 117?
02:03In fact, 17 for 87, 19 for 216, 27 for 114.
02:09The only times James Cook had 13 carries in a game all last year was week one in that 41
02:15to 40 win against Baltimore.
02:18And then that weird Sunday game where they lost to the Dolphins 30 to 13.
02:23He had 13 carries.
02:24Every other game last season, he went way over that.
02:28So I am just saying I'm not crazy.
02:31I mean, I remember the guy playing at a very high level last year.
02:35I will be shocked if he does not carry the ball 19 times for 100 yards tonight.
02:42I am.
02:43That's what I'm going with tonight.
02:45I just think that's the direction that Buffalo has.
02:48What makes him so dangerous isn't he's just a rusher.
02:52He can catch the ball as well.
02:54So he's also a receiver.
02:55He had 16 touches last week for 69 yards rushing and receiving.
03:01He did get bottled up a little bit.
03:04But again, that was a Houston defense that we all know is not going.
03:10The only reason that score was what it was was because of their inability to be able to get to
03:17Josh Allen when they blitzed and he tore him up.
03:20And he absolutely tore him up all day there.
03:23So is Detroit going to do that with a banged up secondary?
03:27To me, styles make fights.
03:29If you recall that Baltimore defense last year, they were great against the run and they couldn't stop anybody in
03:37the past.
03:38They couldn't sack anybody and everyone tore him up in the air yard.
03:42So it doesn't shock me that that was the one game last year.
03:46You're talking about a guy that led the league in rushing.
03:48I mean, he was a absolute beast here, but I wouldn't discount his ability to catch the ball out of
03:54the backfield either.
03:56I think that's also going to be a big part of this year.
03:59And he's not he's not Derrick Henry.
04:01He's not 260 pounds.
04:03Like, yeah, I don't know.
04:03Can he sustain being fed 30 times a game?
04:06I don't know.
04:07Not not not 30.
04:08He didn't have many of those.
04:09But I think 20 is in play.
04:11And I think a good comparison where it would be like an apples and oranges would be like if if
04:16we were to say, well, look.
04:18Would you say that because Jonathan Taylor didn't get a lot of carries in a lot of yards is that
04:23guy now going to bust out this week?
04:25My answer would be no.
04:26It's not the same thing.
04:27It's just I mean, Indianapolis, he's he's sort of a one man show there.
04:31If you stop him, you stop the offense.
04:33If you stop James Cook, you still have to worry about Josh Allen and everybody else.
04:36So I just think these things normalize and we do overreact to one week.
04:42And and and that is why I would be on him today.
04:45So, again, the guys were saying, do you think he's better than B.
04:49John Robinson or do you think he's better than Jameer Gibbs?
04:52You know, probably not.
04:53But he's right there, you know, after that to me.
04:56He's right there in that category beyond it with some of those other running backs in the NFL.
05:02And my and I and I just think tonight will be his night.
05:05That'll that'll that'll be where I'll stand with that.
05:07I I'm worried about golf.
05:09I'm worried about Detroit.
