00:07Well, it's a very easy question to answer because it's a mess.
00:11It's lost. The Kennedy Center for many years has lost tens of millions of dollars, even hundreds of millions of
00:17dollars.
00:18It's a loser financially.
00:20And many of the places like that, you know, like Carnegie Hall and the various places throughout the country, they
00:25lose a lot of money.
00:26For me to go and fix it, I'm the one capable of fixing it, and then have to subsidize it
00:34for years to come.
00:35Because you will lose, what the Kennedy Center, they will lose hundreds of millions of dollars, and sometimes hundreds of
00:42millions.
00:42This is before I got involved.
00:44So for the Trump administration, for me, to get involved and to take that on long term and to carry
00:51it, or to raise money to carry it,
00:54I think that the Trump administration should certainly have recognition.
00:58Because, frankly, if we don't do that, it's going to close.
01:02It'll end up being ripped down.
01:03It's a very, very bad thing.
01:05Very dangerous thing.
01:06You see steel falling down.
01:07You see plaster falling off ceilings.
01:10You see a lot of danger.
01:11It's been very badly maintained for 25 years.
01:14Are you going to break down if you're not going to go on the building?
01:17I'd like to be able to save it.
01:19But it's going to take a lot of subsidy into the future.
01:22And for us, as an administration, to want to do that, I think the Trump administration should be recognized.
