03:50And is the video convincing enough to overturn it?

03:54Remember, you also need clear possession of football afterwards.

03:58This is a tough one to overturn.

04:01They say the knee was down, and that will not be ruled a fumble.

05:01because if you're a rookie quarterback, you know you're going to see pressure.

05:05Defenses want to see how you're going to handle it,

05:07or if they're closer to you to making bad decisions.

05:10That's their goal.

05:11And that will fall incomplete.

05:13He was hit just as he let that go.

05:16And now it's third down.

05:20Looking to throw.

05:23They set up the screen.

05:26And this will not get close to the first down marker as he's brought down at the 26.

06:06The running lanes have definitely not been there for him here in the first half,

06:10and I don't think it's all been his fault.

06:25And I must say, I'm loving it.

06:26Kind of put me in the holiday spirit.

06:28Charles, Charles hates it.

06:49But I really enjoyed watching how the defense stayed in sync,

06:54stayed in great communication.

06:55And as he dragged across each zone,

06:58you see him pointing, communicating.

07:03Ended up making a nice play, even though it was complete.

07:50Now, if you're that quarterback, though, you've got to find a way to hurt that crowd.

07:54And the only way to do that, make good plays and try and calm them down.

08:06And he'll go down at the 26 following a gain of six.

08:11Nice rhythm throw there on first down.

08:13He located his tight end.

08:14Made a nice easy pitch and catch.

08:21From the 26, they'll line up on second and four.

08:39A nice job of bodying him up defensively.

08:45With a rookie quarterback out there, you're definitely going to find out how he handles adversity.

08:49Because this one so far hasn't gone according to plan.

08:52He's got to fight through it and show him what he's made of.

08:56Now they face a third down and four after that incompletion on second down.

09:40It might be a little counterintuitive because most people will think losing equals passing the ball more.

09:46But I'd establish the running game.

09:48They kind of went away from it in the first half.

09:50I think if they get back in balance, it'll help.

10:37Well, someone's closing in on the league lead in sacks.

10:44So that complicates things a bit here.

10:49Out of the gun is a give to A-chan.

10:51And they're going to get him behind the line yet again as his nightmare afternoon continues.

11:31Now that their defense has done its job, it's their turn now to go out and try and get some

12:36As a defense, you're more balanced when you're in zone coverage

12:39because you're able to keep your eyes on the quarterback

12:41and see the play develop in front of you.

12:44You're able to keep the quick pass in front of them

12:46and stop it right at the line of spinach.

12:52Under pressure and down he goes.

12:55It'll be a loss of eight on the sack

12:57and it's going to lead him to fourth down.

13:00Well, collectively as a defense, Charles,

13:02I think if you get four sacks a game, you're...

13:12And really, Charles, not much of a surprise that they're losing.

13:15They just haven't been able to get much of anything going in the pass game.

13:19And as you well know, in today's NFL, if the passing game isn't working,

13:23usually not much else is working either.

13:25You're exactly right about that part, man.

13:27And I know that right now the easy answer would be,

13:30hey, let's run the football.

13:31But that might not be everything you need.

13:33So despite the fact that they've struggled throwing it,

13:36they've got to find some type of a play,

13:39multiple plays, that puts the ball in the air

13:41and allows for them to have some success.

13:44Second and 14 as they've got work to do here after the sack.

13:54Oh, he tried to fit it in on the slant, and it's intercepted.

17:15and get some type of momentum

17:16to carry into the film session tomorrow.

17:19If you get any type of points on the board,

17:21it'll count as a moral victory,

17:22although no one will talk about that

17:24in the post-game press conference.

17:28it already stings and will for a while,

17:30but everyone in that offense knows it'll sting a lot worse

17:33if they don't put some points up on the board.

17:38of what has been a one-sided affair.

17:41So the Dolphins have it as we welcome you back in.

32:57it looks like we have a player who was shaken up.

33:31and I believe he'll eventually reward them,

33:33especially as we get deeper in the game.

34:57a heck of a lot better than trying to figure out third and long.

35:06And they've got it well across midfield, down to the 40,

35:10before it's all said and done.

35:12But they're able to find a lot of empty space there,

35:15picking up the first down at a 21-yard gain.

36:45but all you're thinking defensively, keep them out of the end zone.

37:30but at this point doesn't look like it's going to matter much.
