UST stuns La Salle, 80-75, to bounce back in UAAP  The University of Santo Tomas held off De La Salle, 80-75, to bounce back in the UAAP Season 88 men's basketball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena Wednesday, September 16.   Amiel Acido poured 19 points including the insurance free throws in the last six seconds, as the Growling Tigers recovered from their season-opening loss to University of the Philippines last Sunday. Acido added seven rebounds and seven assists to his name while Collins Akowe pumped 18 points and 10 rebounds for UST, which improved to 1-1 and dragged La Salle to the same record.  Vhoris Marasigan paced La Salle with 16 points and three rebounds.
