00:00This is the first time Kobe met Moki, and we're going to show you everything they did in their first
00:04six months together.
00:06Question is, what have they gotten up to? Will she be bigger than Kobe after six months?
00:10And does Kobe actually like her now?
00:12We're going to fly through the first three months, as there was a lot of this.
00:27I think it's safe to say that Kobe was not adjusting well to life with a new part.
00:31You could see how quickly she was growing already.
00:34This was two months in, and she's probably already doubled in size.
00:38In their first three months together, they went on their first walk.
00:41Moki had her second jab by this point, so it was actually the first time she'd been able to roam
00:45through.
00:48I'm going to show you how it's going.
00:52Come on.
00:54Good guy.
00:56This is where it's amazing having another dog.
00:59Kobe is so well trained, and Moki would watch how he interacted with dogs.
01:02She was learning from him.
01:04She would see that she needs to come back when called because Kobe does.
01:07He was the perfect role model for her.
01:10We wanted to let Moki off-leash from a young age.
01:12Every dog owner does it differently, but we really wanted to perfect her recall, and also let her explore the
01:18world with Kobe.
01:32Now that we could take Moki to places, we went to their first restaurant together.
01:36Thought it would be a good place for her to get used to new noises and busy environments.
01:40She was so good.
01:42We brought her blanket along in hope that it's a familiar smell and help her settle.
01:46Again, watching her big brother Kobe, she was quickly understanding that it's time to be a good chill pup.
01:52Not sure how happy Kobe was with her sleeping that close though.
02:00We got given a marabone by the chef at the restaurant.
02:03What a kind chef.
02:04But then realised puppies shouldn't have marabones.
02:06So we took it off her.
02:08Kobe was definitely still getting used to having a pup around, but they did share the occasional cute moment.
02:33In our attempt to get Moki used to new things, the dogs had their baby cousins come round.
02:37This was hilarious because Moki could definitely tell they were babies too.
02:40They sort of built a baby bond.
02:44You're hiding.
02:46You're sleeping in the theater now.
02:53But we wanted to build a family bond too.
02:56So that means family dinners and family Netflix time and size up day.
03:01We're going to show you how big Moki's gotten at the end of each month.
03:05Remember, this is only three months in, which brings us on to month four.
03:08We took the dogs to a dog festival.
03:10Moki's only six months old at this point because she was already two months when we first got her.
03:15This meant we couldn't walk her for too long because her joints were still developing.
03:19We decided to bring this crate thing to pull her around in.
03:22She loved it.
03:23Kobe would even look at her sometimes and you could tell he wanted a go in it.
03:28Hold on Moki.
03:31Moki!
03:32Hello good girl.
03:35That's like, hello.
03:37That's not Kobe.
03:41We wanted to enter Moki into a jump competition at the festival.
03:44But she wasn't old enough yet.
03:46So, jump challenge at home.
03:48Yeah, I don't know.
03:49We had to entertain the dogs somehow.
03:50Anyway, Kobe won and this was Moki's best attempt.
03:54Come on, come on, come on.
03:56Yeah!
03:57We have so many fun moments with our dogs, but we were going to do something a bit different this
04:02time.
04:02My dad has sadly been diagnosed with dementia and the liver disease.
04:06He really wasn't doing well.
04:07But he's always been a dog person.
04:09So we took them to go see him, knowing how much it would mean to him.
04:12They were both amazing with him.
04:14They were almost like therapy dogs.
04:16Moki really surprised me.
04:18Still being a young pup, we were so careful around my dad.
04:21But I've never seen her more gentle and loving.
04:23It brought a smile to my face seeing my dad happy.
04:25But also, I kind of felt like a proud parent.
04:28Moki and Kobe also played together.
04:30They were definitely putting on a show to entertain my dad.
04:33Oh, and this was my dad's carer's dog.
04:35Ended up being a puppy party.
04:38Moki.
04:45Month 4 was a good one.
04:47The dogs got up to so much.
04:49But we cannot forget our size update.
04:51Oh yeah, she's going to be a big girl.
04:53Let's jump straight into month 5.
04:55We decided to surprise the dogs with a ball pit.
04:58Because, why not I guess?
04:59We figured it would be something fun for us all to do.
05:02It didn't take Moki long to start using the ball pit as her pet though.
05:05They also really started to bond in the 5th month and play properly with each other now.
05:10Sharing sticks and having some crazy zoomies.
05:22Moki'd grown up so quickly and felt a lot more confident in herself to play with Kobe now.
05:27The fun didn't stop there.
05:28We had a picnic with the dogs.
05:30And, oh, how could I forget?
05:32We bought a swimming pool for Moki and Kobe to try and get her used to the water.
05:36Kobe being a retriever obviously loves the water.
05:39Moki on the other hand, yeah, it didn't really go as a plan.
05:43She hated it.
05:44But, at least she got some positive interaction with water.
05:49Well, we thought we would test that out because two weeks later, we took her on a swimming adventure.
05:54She did go in, but let's be honest here, mission failed.
06:02Good boy.
06:04Good boy.
06:05But, we didn't give up there.
06:07We tried one more dog walk with water.
06:10I've never seen these dogs have such a good time.
06:13It was so nice to see them bonding and even better to see them running free like that and playing.
06:24Go on, go on, go on, go on.
06:26He's like, that's too deep.
06:28Good girl.
06:30Good boy.
06:31Ready, Kobe?
06:42Okay, size update.
06:43Remember, this is what she looked like in month four and this is her in month five.
06:48She was really catching up on Kobe.
06:50This is the fifth month having her, but she's seven months old here and nearly as big as our four
06:55-year-old golden retriever.
06:56The zoomies went crazy in the sixth month.
06:59So, I've heard that if a dog does zoomies, it means they're really happy.
07:02No idea if that's true, but we're taking it.
07:14She even started stalking Kobe?
07:17I don't know.
07:18I'm told it's a Doberman thing.
07:19At this point, she's pretty much the same size as Kobe.
07:23So, this is the start of July where she only just turned eight months.
07:27Question is, will she be bigger than Kobe by the end of July?
07:31Well, me and Ella actually went on a holiday for most of July and when we came back, this
07:35was their reaction.
07:48The third thing we did when we came back was take them for a walk, of course.
08:06well that's a lie because there's always some time for a game of tug of war
08:10go on cobs go on cobs that's fair go on cobs show who's boss go on cobs yeah and then
08:18we realized
08:19is is she bigger than kobe i think she's done it i think she's bigger than him she'd overtaken
08:26him whilst we were on holiday we couldn't believe it what i loved though is that kobe was definitely
08:31still the dominant one just before mochi had turned nine months she was now the not so little sister
