00:06Let's do it securely through Ledger Live with our partner, Moonpay.
00:10To get started, open Ledger Live app on your computer,
00:12connect your Nano and unlock it with your PIN.
00:15Then decide which crypto you'd like to buy.
00:18Moonpay has dozens of options, but for this video, we'll go with Bitcoin.
00:22So head over to the Portfolio tab and click Add Account.
00:26Select Bitcoin from the drop-down and click Continue.
00:30Ledger Live will install the Bitcoin app on your Nano.
00:32The device needs the app to add a Bitcoin account to Ledger Live.
00:38Once your Bitcoin account has been added, navigate to the Discover tab on the left, then select Moonpay.
00:45Enter the amount in fiat you want to spend in the top bar,
00:48and you'll see an estimate of how much Bitcoin you'll receive in the bottom bar.
00:52Then press Continue.
00:53In the next step, select the Bitcoin account you just created,
00:56and Moonpay will prompt you to connect your Nano and confirm your Bitcoin address.
01:01Carefully match the address on your computer to the address on your Nano.
01:06Then scroll right and use the buttons to approve.
01:09Click Continue.
01:11Now it's time to check out. Enter your email and click Continue.
01:17Then check your inbox for a verification code from Moonpay.
01:21Type that into Moonpay in Ledger Live.
01:23Agree to the terms and conditions by ticking the box.
01:26Then click Continue.
01:28If this is your first time using Moonpay, you'll need to do a quick KYC check.
01:32Just pause this video here.
01:37Complete the verification steps and come right back.
01:40Now, select the payment option.
01:42You can pay with either a bank card or a bank transfer.
01:46If you choose to buy with a debit or credit card,
01:49you'll need to fill in your bank card details and confirm the transaction.
01:53This confirmation may vary depending on the bank and card issuer,
01:56but it's pretty intuitive, so just fold the steps on your screen.
02:00Confirm your order by checking your card details and Bitcoin account one last time.
02:04Tick the box that authorizes Moonpay to debit your card, then click Buy Now.
02:09When you see processing transaction, Moonpay is processing your order
02:12and will send you the Bitcoin ASAP.
02:15You can also find your order details, including the transaction cost and order ID,
02:19which you'll need if you have to contact Moonpay's customer service.
02:23That's it for the bank card.
02:24You can close the app or leave it open until the BTC is delivered,
02:27and Moonpay will even send updates directly to your inbox.
02:31The whole transaction usually takes under 10 minutes.
02:34Once the BTC has reached your account, it will show as delivered in the app,
02:39and you'll see it in your Bitcoin account in Ledger Live.
02:42Now, if you choose the bank transfer option,
02:45you'll be prompted to type in your IBAN or bank details.
02:48Then you'll move to the confirmation page.
02:50If all looks good, tick the box that authorizes the purchase,
02:54then click Buy Now to move to the next step.
02:57Here, you'll receive your transfer information,
03:00which contains everything you need to wire funds from your account to Moonpay.
03:05Just copy-paste everything right into your bank interface
03:08or save it to a document for later.
03:13Once your deposit is received, your Bitcoin will be credited
03:16and you'll sit in your account in Ledger Live.
03:18Just keep in mind that a bank transfer can take up to three business days.
