00:00Okay, now let's get into the next level of settings.
00:03There's a lot of settings that are a part of this indicator.
00:09So let's go back into indicator settings.
00:13Now we do have alert features.
00:16I have everything set as false.
00:19Alert on the zero cross.
00:21Alert on the signal cross.
00:24Alerts on in general.
00:26True, false.
00:27False, show alert message that would pop up on your screen.
00:30So we have all these options if you want to utilize that.
00:34I have them off for now.
00:37They're pretty straightforward.
00:39Now here is a key component of our system.
00:43We're going to help you identify when we do get a signal when to actually get into the trade.
00:51Let's start with talking about five-minute charts.
00:55The higher the time frame we go, we have to expand out these three settings.
01:03Right now, for a five-minute chart, how many pips for delayed entry, the lowest I would ever go would
01:13be eight pips.
01:14The highest I would ever set this to is 12.
01:18And I'll explain what this does.
01:20Right now, I'll split the difference and I'll put a 10 in.
01:24Initial stop loss value is a 15.
01:30Initial take profit value is 30.
01:34So 15 pips stop loss, double that is initial take profit.
01:40So the minimum we recommend on trading the setup, as with pretty much any setup, is a two-to-one
01:48reward to risk.
01:50If I'm risking 15 pips, I better be at least going for 30 pips or my mathematics is off.
01:57That means, you know, if I'm going for 15 pips as a target and my risk is 15 pips,
02:05I have to have a really high win-to-loss ratio to do good.
02:10Most traders, even highly experienced traders that trade manual discretionary,
02:16and I know who are the top 1% PAM managers in the world,
02:22I know how to go look at their data.
02:24Of those traders that trade manual discretionary,
02:29very few of them that are doing really, really good,
02:33you know, making 7%, 8%, 9%, 10%, 12% a month,
02:37I know who's good and who's not doing good for the current market conditions.
02:43A lot of these traders are in the high 50% to low 60% win-to-loss ratios for
02:52their record, their track record.
02:55But they're trading setups 2-to-1, 3-to-1, 4-to-1, so they do really well.
03:01So don't ever think that you have to come into the market
03:04and be right 75% or 80% of the time to make money.
03:09That's not the case.
03:11The mathematics shows you if you can be, you know, 58% to 63%
03:18and you're trading a minimum 2-to-1 reward-to-risk setup,
03:23you're in the ballpark of making money week after week.
03:29Start getting down around 53%, 50%, you're going to be a break-even trader.
03:34That's fine.
03:35In the beginning, it's about preserving capital.
03:40And over time, gradually becoming more efficient and making money.
03:45In the beginning, getting into the, oh, I'm going to hit the ball out of the ballpark mentality,
03:50or I'm always going to make the big shot.
03:53That's the wrong mentality.
03:55You have to lean on the mathematics.
03:58I'll give you a bit of advice.
04:00If you want to be a brilliant trader, whether you're trading CFDs, Forex, stocks, options, futures, cryptos,
04:11the key is, is you have to build processes that lean on good mathematics.
04:19That's the bottom line.
04:20It's algorithmic trading, whether it's manual or automated.
04:24And you have to plan out, you know, what are the setups I'm going to trade?
04:30What time frames am I going to trade?
04:32What currency pairs am I going to trade?
04:34What is my objective on a per-trade basis?
04:37Am I going for 2-to-1?
04:39Am I going for 3-to-1?
04:41In the beginning, you can have dumbed-down objectives,
04:44stuff that's very easy to achieve.
04:46And as you gain experience, you can grow your goals, your objectives.
04:51So the idea in the very beginning, especially when you start using a new system,
04:56is don't trade live with real money.
04:58Get used to all aspects of the system in demo mode.
05:02Build up a track record in demo mode that you're measuring, you're documenting, you're logging.
05:08You know, every day, log all your entries, your exits, what happened on the trade.
05:13What I used to do back in the day, when I would go trade manual discretionary,
05:18I would use Camtasia, and I would screen capture my trading activities and go review it.
05:24And boy, if I ever wanted to make a YouTube, you know, comedy channel,
05:30I could have used my trading.
05:33I mean, there was some wild action in there as I was trying to figure out how to trade.
05:38And I wish somebody would have told me back 15 years ago,
05:42it's the process and your habits and the mathematics that make you a good trader
05:48not being really good at figuring out which way the market's going to go.
05:53You know, ooh, the euro dollar is going to do this,
05:56or the pound dollar is going to do that,
05:59or the Swiss franc is going to, you know, it's not about that.
06:03It's about finding a system you feel comfortable with,
06:07getting an experience with it, measure, adjust, measure, adjust, measure, adjust.
06:15Measure what you're doing with the system,
06:17make adjustments to become more efficient,
06:20or alter your time frame or the currency pairs you're on.
06:24Keep adjusting things till you get in a zone where you feel very comfortable,
06:28and you're transitioning from being successful in demo mode,
06:34moving to trading live real money in a live mode.
06:38Now, here's the bit of advice.
06:40I would highly suggest to go get Ray Dalio's book.
06:46He runs, he's one of the top private hedge fund owners in the world,
06:53based in the United States.
06:55Ray Dalio has a book out called Principles.
06:59Oh my gosh, is that book amazing.
07:02If you want to know how to structure your mindset
07:06and your activities to create the proper environment
07:11to build successful trading,
07:15that is, I don't like to use this term, but I'll use it.
07:18That book is like the Bible of setting up the right algorithmic processes
07:25in your trading and in your mentalities.
07:28You can get it on audiobook too.
07:30I think Amazon has it, but it's in all the big bookstores.
07:34And Ray Dalio's been everywhere.
07:36He's been interviewed by Tim Ferriss,
07:40and I think he's done interviews with Anthony Robbins and others.
07:43So Ray Dalio is very well known.
07:48Okay, I went off on a sidetrack there,
07:51but I wanted to make sure you understand,
07:54especially for you new traders,
07:56what you have to focus on.
07:58Because what you focus on is what you get in life, period.
08:03So why not focus on the right mechanisms
08:07to build a good foundation
08:10and then incrementally grow your capability from that
08:13as you gain more and more experience.
08:17Now I'm going to cover just a few more items,
08:19then we'll wrap up this video,
08:21and we'll go on to run with this information
08:24and layer in additional information on top of it in the next video.
08:29But here's a good starting point.
08:31How many pips for delayed entry?
08:3310.
08:34Initial stop loss value?
08:3615.
08:37Initial take profit value?
08:3930.
08:41Now, here is an important thing
08:44that I'm going to kind of go through a trade manually
08:47and show you what these components of the FX pulse
08:52or the strike trade early pulse indicator is doing for you.
08:57Okay, I'm going to click OK here.
09:05So what's going to happen,
09:07and I'll show you this in a forward video.
09:10Right now I'm just going to do this manually.
09:14So I'm going to go in here
09:15and I'm going to set this color to white.
09:20Or at least something.
09:21There we go.
09:22There's white.
09:23So we have a signal trigger line that just triggered here.
09:27Let's blow up this view.
09:31Right now, at this bar close, the trigger line triggered.
09:36As you can see on the far right,
09:38the price is 1.17612.
09:44So we'll just call it 1.1761.
09:5010 pips up from that.
09:55So back here again,
09:56we'll call this the 6-1 level.
09:5910 pips up from that would be your entry trigger line.
10:04So at the 7-1 level.
10:08There, close now.
10:10So our system will automatically,
10:14because we've set a gap of 10 pips.
10:21Wrong line.
10:23So we've set a gap
10:25from here to the candlestick close
10:28of 10 pips.
10:31This white line,
10:33as soon as this trigger line hits,
10:35this white line will get deployed.
10:39Now if we go into the indicator settings,
10:43I want to show you something,
10:45because I need to correct something.
10:47The pending line is yellow.
10:51Meaning,
10:52until price reaches that line,
10:55the line is actually colored yellow,
10:56or whatever you want to color it.
10:58Once price has lifted
11:00and hit that line,
11:03so it's yellow in the beginning,
11:05you'll have a horizontal yellow line.
11:08So in other words,
11:09when we get a signal,
11:11we don't just jump in and go,
11:12yeehaw, we're long.
11:13We make price confirm
11:16that it has enough momentum
11:18to fill our position.
11:22Eventually, price comes up,
11:24tags the yellow line,
11:25it turns to white.
11:28Now from this point,
11:29till price hit this line,
11:31what should we be doing?
11:32You can go into your MT4,
11:35right click,
11:36you can go into trading,
11:38and you could put a buy stop.
11:42So you can put a buy stop order
11:44in the market
11:46and lay it on that line.
11:49So in other words,
11:50we're going to let the market come up
11:51and hit our limit order
11:53to activate this trade.
11:56So right click,
11:58go into trading,
12:00buy stop,
12:03you know,
12:03whatever position size
12:04you typically trade,
12:05you want that set,
12:06you can set it up here
12:07in the window.
12:08So I would take this
12:09and I would lay that
12:11right on that line.
12:12So now I have a order,
12:14or you can put it
12:15just slightly above,
12:17you know,
12:17so you can see the line
12:18or just slightly,
12:20just somewhere
12:20so you can see that line.
12:25And it's all ready.
12:27You're waiting for the market
12:28to prove that the momentum
12:29will follow through
12:30and fill your order.
12:33Once the order is filled,
12:34guess what?
12:35We have a stop set
12:37of 15 pips.
12:39We had set that
12:40down at 15 pips.
12:43And what color was that line?
12:45If you remember
12:45from the settings,
12:47we have a red.
12:50Let's go back into settings
12:51just for a second.
12:53We have a red and green.
12:59Green is our target line.
13:01Target is 30 pips out
13:04from our entry.
13:05Stop is 15 pips.
13:08So once we get filled,
13:10we would have a stop
13:12that would be down 15 pips.
13:17We would have a target line
13:19appear on our chart
13:20in green.
13:23That would be set
13:25and let's find green
13:26at 30 pips.
13:28So I just wanted you to know
13:29that the second
13:30the trade gets triggered,
13:31we don't get into
13:33the trade there.
13:34We get a yellow line
13:37that says,
13:37hey,
13:38put your order here.
13:40A buy stop
13:40if you're going to buy,
13:41a sell stop
13:42if you're going to sell.
13:43And once you get filled,
13:45then we'll put
13:47where your stop
13:48and initial target
13:49should be.
13:50So we put those lines
13:53on the chart for you
13:54as a component
13:56of the system
13:57and you can adjust
13:58the colors
13:59to meet your preference.
14:02So I just wanted
14:03to at least explain
14:04what those items are
14:06in the settings
14:08and what they control.
14:12So when we go back
14:13to the settings,
14:16that's what all
14:17of this information is.
14:21How thick do you want
14:22the line?
14:22Do you want it solid
14:23or dash?
14:24And what colors?
14:25The four lines,
14:26you'll start seeing
14:27a lot on your charts
14:29when you're in
14:30the live market mode
14:32and you're watching
14:32price go up and down
14:34and you're getting
14:35transitions from
14:37downside momentum
14:37to upside
14:38and upside to downside.
14:40You'll see all of that,
14:42these lines taking place.
14:44The nice thing is
14:46as price goes up
14:47and hits your target,
14:48you'll see the stop line move.
14:51So your stop line
14:53will move
14:54per your setting.
14:56So if it hits your target,
14:57your stop is going
14:58to move up
15:0015 pips,
15:01meaning the line.
15:02So it's
15:03what this is.
15:05All of this
15:05is a visual cues
15:07to help you know
15:08where should I get
15:09into this trade?
15:11What's the minimum
15:12target I should go for?
15:14Where should my stop be?
15:16That way you don't
15:17have to think.
15:18The second we get
15:19a signal,
15:20you have all the lines
15:21displayed for you
15:22to help you
15:23manage
15:23where to put your
15:26stops and targets.
15:30Now,
15:31you can go in here,
15:31experienced traders
15:32that are,
15:33you know,
15:34you guys are familiar
15:35with what kind of
15:36risk management
15:37you like.
15:38You can go in here
15:39and set your initial stop
15:40and take profit
15:42visual reference lines
15:45however you see fit.
15:46But I highly suggest
15:48never setting
15:49anything less
15:50than two to one
15:51at least as a
15:52minimum benchmark.
15:53reward to risk.
15:57And how many pips
15:59gap between
16:00the signal
16:01activating
16:04and where we
16:05should be
16:05willing to get in
16:07on a five minute
16:08chart?
16:09I would go
16:10no less
16:11than eight pips
16:12gap
16:13no more than
16:1412.
16:18Okay,
16:19so we pretty much
16:19went over the
16:20settings for the
16:21FX
16:23pulse
16:23indicator.
16:25Now let's go in
16:26and throw in
16:28and kind of
16:29quickly cover
16:29adding the FX
16:31push to a chart
16:32for those of you
16:33that have access
16:34to the
16:35additional item.
16:36so let's go over here
16:37and add that
16:38indicator.
16:40So the
16:40Stripe Trader Elite
16:41push
16:43common,
16:44I'll check that.
16:46The
16:46allow DLL
16:47imports.
16:48This is one of those
16:49indicators
16:50where you just
16:50load it up,
16:51you adjust colors,
16:53and that's it.
16:54There's no settings.
16:57And this
16:58indicator
16:59measures
17:00trade
17:01intensity.
17:02This is a
17:02trade
17:03intensity
17:04indicator.
17:05This is
17:07what I would
17:08call a more
17:09advanced indicator.
17:10It's very
17:11unique.
17:12We're looking
17:13at items
17:14like uptick,
17:15downtick
17:15information
17:16and bar
17:18length
17:19and creating
17:20information.
17:22So let's say
17:23you're trading
17:24a move
17:25out of news
17:26or you want
17:27to fade
17:28an area
17:29or you want
17:30to join
17:30a trend.
17:31I mean,
17:32you can use
17:33this indicator
17:33to help you
17:35see when
17:35momentum is
17:36really coming
17:38into the market
17:38strong,
17:39either upside
17:40or downside
17:41momentum.
17:41And you can
17:42see when the
17:43momentum is
17:44starting to
17:44dissipate
17:45and we're
17:46potentially
17:46building a
17:47shift in
17:48intensity
17:49to change
17:50directions.
17:52So that's
17:53how you
17:54load it
17:54up.
17:54Real simple.
17:55I'll cover
17:56this in
17:56depth in
17:57the subsequent
17:58video.
17:59Right now,
17:59I just wanted
18:00to show you
18:00how easy
18:01it is to
18:01set.
18:02You just
18:02add it to
18:02a chart,
18:03set the
18:04colors the
18:05way you
18:05like it,
18:06and go
18:07from there.
18:08I will
18:08make this
18:09note,
18:09though.
18:10I tend
18:11to use
18:11this indicator
18:12on lower
18:13time frames,
18:13like a
18:155-minute chart
18:16or a 15-minute
18:17chart,
18:17maybe even a
18:17minute chart.
18:18I like to
18:19use it when
18:20I'm watching
18:20news.
18:21So if I
18:22see a big
18:22pulse move
18:23and the
18:23market's
18:23pushing and
18:24pushing and
18:24pushing,
18:25I'm watching
18:26this to see
18:27how the
18:27intensity is
18:28dissipating.
18:29If I'm
18:30going to go
18:30in there and
18:31fade a move
18:32or look for
18:33a rollover
18:34and maybe
18:35play this.
18:36A lot of
18:36times news
18:37will hit,
18:38there'll be
18:38an initial
18:38reaction that
18:39might be
18:39up,
18:42and then
18:42the primary
18:44move will
18:45be the
18:45secondary one.
18:47Sometimes
18:47they play
18:48that game
18:48where they'll
18:49push price
18:49up,
18:50literally,
18:50so they
18:50can get
18:51in and
18:51sell it
18:51and take
18:52it down.
18:53So a lot
18:54of times
18:54I'll watch
18:54that initial
18:55move and
18:56I'll watch
18:56the momentum.
18:57If I see
18:57the momentum
18:58bleeding off
19:00maybe into
19:00the first
19:0110 to 15
19:02bars on a
19:03minute chart,
19:04or if I'm
19:05watching a
19:065-minute chart,
19:07maybe the
19:08first 3,
19:094,
19:095 bars,
19:10I might
19:11then get
19:11ready to,
19:12as I see
19:13that momentum
19:14dissipate and
19:14a shift,
19:15to play
19:16the opposite
19:17direction and
19:18then engage
19:19the move
19:19on the
19:21downside on
19:23the opposite
19:23reaction to
19:25the initial
19:25move.
19:27And then
19:27sometimes if
19:28it takes off
19:29and runs,
19:29I'll get in
19:30the move and
19:31I'll grow my
19:32position size into
19:33the run as I
19:34see strong
19:35intensity
19:35continuing.
19:38It's a trade
19:40intensity
19:41indicator.
19:42indicator.
19:45Okay, so
19:46let's go in
19:46here.
19:47I'm going to
19:47delete these
19:48lines, get
19:50rid of these
19:50trend lines.
19:53There we go.
19:54So there you
19:55have it.
19:55You now have
19:56both indicators
19:58set.
19:58You have a
19:58basic chart
19:59built.
20:00The last
20:00thing I would
20:00do, I
20:01would right
20:01click.
20:03I would go
20:04into templates
20:06and put
20:06save template
20:09and give
20:10it a name.
20:11So in this
20:12case, you
20:12can just
20:13call it
20:13the, go
20:16STE for
20:17strike
20:18trader
20:18elite
20:20underscore
20:21pulse
20:24and hit
20:25save.
20:25Now, anytime
20:27I go open
20:27up a new
20:28chart, so
20:30let's go
20:30new chart.
20:32Let's say
20:33I'm going
20:33to make
20:35a US dollar
20:35Japanese yen
20:36chart.
20:37I can
20:37literally
20:37just open
20:38it up, set
20:38it to
20:39whatever
20:39time frame,
20:40right click,
20:42go into
20:43template, and
20:45there we go,
20:46STE pulse, and
20:47boom, it will
20:48populate
20:49everything, and
20:51we're all set.
20:52Very simple.
20:54Another
20:55recommendation I
20:56have is once
20:57you build up
20:58a bunch of
20:58charts, definitely
21:00go into
21:00file, go into
21:01profiles, and
21:03save as, and
21:05give your
21:07MT4 platform
21:08STE pulse, give
21:11it a profile
21:11name, or
21:15whatever name
21:16you want, just
21:16give it some
21:17sort of a
21:17name.
21:18I also
21:19personally, after
21:20I do all
21:20this, I go
21:21shut down and
21:22restart the
21:23platform, just
21:23to make sure I
21:24latch everything
21:25that I just
21:26spent 20 minutes
21:28building up.
21:30I know this
21:31video is a
21:32little bit
21:32long, but
21:33there was a
21:33lot of
21:33important
21:34settings and
21:35items to
21:35cover, and
21:37some preliminary
21:38information I
21:39wanted to make
21:39sure you
21:39understand before
21:41we get into
21:42additional
21:42content.
21:45So there you
21:46have it, we
21:46have covered
21:47the installation
21:48of the
21:48indicators to
21:50your charts for
21:51the MT4
21:51platform.
