00:13offences following an inspection last July. Magistrates heard mouse droppings were discovered
00:19beside food products, while a bag of rice had been chewed by pests. Inspectors also
00:25found problems with cleanliness, maintenance and preventing contamination. The company which
00:30owns the store was not represented at the hearing and the case was proved in its absence.
00:36It must also pay a surcharge of £4,800 and prosecution costs of £844.
