00:00oh i wish that um john lewis is still here in the um city center i really really do i
00:06wish that um
00:06you know people can go in just for a browse and it's not just it's not just people going in
00:12some
00:12people can or cannot afford everything in there but it's just nice to be part of that kind of
00:18community that's that's for the people for people come and go and use the new street station and
00:25also like just going in there just for a browser ideas or it be part of that kind of like
00:31in a way
00:33that that grown a modern society yeah you've got woolworths and stuff like that yeah um i suppose
00:38more worse maybe because everybody went in walworth didn't they they sold pretty much everything so
00:44probably be walworth yeah yes there was a shop along new street called lewis's but we're talking 30 odd
00:53years ago and it was a lovely shop and we also used to have a hamley's here as well but
00:58uh recently
00:59i think probably the biggest loss is john lewis but coming from solihull we have a john lewis in
01:06solihull so we're very lucky but otherwise uh we have far too many coffee shops it would be nice to
01:13get something a bit different we had john lewis in the the new station complex and it shut quite quickly
01:20and that was hugely disappointing are there any older shops that are done rackons i used to like
01:26and it's just not what it used to be the house of phrases gone hasn't it so
