00:08In 2001, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone came out,
00:11and that movie kind of changed my view of entertainment.
00:14Are the rumors true, Elvis?
00:17I'm afraid so, Professor.
00:19This art form can transform people into different experiences and lives,
00:23and it was the first time that I truly was absorbed into a world,
00:26a fully formed world,and wanted to be in it all of the time.
00:29Wicked.
00:30So, Harry Potter and then Meryl Streep and Sophie's Choice.
00:34You're working like that.
00:36It was the first time that I really saw somebody living that life of the actual character,
00:42and I truly believed everything she said.
00:44Truth, I don't even know what is the truth.
00:46And it was so compelling and I realized this is what I want to do.

00:53The strangest thing I've ever done on film.
00:55Season 1 episode 13 on Riverdale.
00:58Cheryl is in the middle of the Sweetwater River and it's all frozen over and there
01:03's a lot of snow
01:03and she falls through the ice on accident.

01:06We had to do a whole separate shot outside of Sweetwater River of me in a shipping container filled
01:11with water
01:12for all of the scene where I'm dragged backwards and I scream because I see Jason inside of the
01:16water
01:17for 16 hours,for five seconds of a TV show.

01:22Five seconds,16 hours.
01:24And the craziest part,the creepiest part was that it was complete pitch black which is terrifying in general
01:29but there was four scuba divers in the very bottom corners of the shipping container and you could not
01:34see them.
01:34So had I started freaking out and panicking,which I did one time,they come up from the bottom,
01:38the abyss out of nowhere
01:39and they grab youand they pull you to the surface.Great scene though.
01:45My favorite onscreen couple is Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman in Casablan
01:49ca.
01:51Kissmas if it were the last time.
01:53There's a fire in Ingrid Bergman in that movie which I love and I relate to.

01:57There's a tenderness in Humphrey Bogart in a strange and vulnerable way that you kind
02:01of don't pick up the first time you see
02:02but the more you watch it the more you pick up on it.
02:04Well maybe he's not quite as romantic as you are.
02:06And their intense passion but also they have a hard time seeing each other together.
02:10Inside of us we both know you belong with Victor.
02:13What do you do in that situation?
02:14Personally I stay with Humphrey.
02:16That's truly my favorite onscreen couple.I stay with Humphrey.

02:24The movie character I would be friends with is Marla from Fight Club.
02:28Marla.
02:28I don't know why.I just find her incredibly compelling.
02:30Helena Bonham Carter is amazing and I want to be her friend.
02:34Maybe we should exchange numbers.

02:37She's such a badass.
02:38She's a badass woman.
02:40This is cancer right?
02:41And I love her.
02:42I feel like I'd be terrified around her all the time but that's like half the fun right?
02:45What do you get out of it?
02:47Not a fan of the smoking thing like we couldn't be in enclosed quarters together.
02:50You can't smoke in here.
02:52But other than that.
02:52My smoking doesn't go over at all.
02:54I think she'd be fantastic and very interesting.
02:56Bizarre but interesting.
02:57Is it going as well as you hoped?
03:00My favorite things about Riverdale?
03:03I love the family aspect of it.
03:06The sense of camaraderie that we have.
03:07The support system that I have.
03:09The friends that I've gotten from the show.
03:11And the commitment and the passion that we all have for it.
03:14It's really beautiful like it's an incredible experience being on set.

03:17The favorite thing about the show itself is that it can really do anything.
03:20Where's the heat?
03:21Where's the sizzle?
03:22We can have the relationships and we can be a high school show.
03:24But we can also have a serial killer who's a father of one of the kids.
03:27We kind of create all these different worlds within our universe.
03:30It's very interesting and I'm very proud to be on the show.
03:32Some people say it's retro.
03:34I say it's eternal and iconic.
