00:00Chris, I mean, obviously an enormous victory for Texas going and really coming from behind to get this thing done.
00:08I thought Ohio State had that game won.
00:10Your takeaway from this win here and what you saw in Austin this past Saturday.
00:16Yeah, I was down there in Austin for the game and we had kind of all written our stuff as
00:21if Ohio State had won the game.
00:23So that furious fourth quarter comeback caused a lot of deleting and rewriting what we had originally had.
00:29I kept thinking kind of after the game, did Texas win it or did Ohio State lose it?
00:35And there was a bit of both in there, obviously, but I think this is more on Ohio State.
00:40And I counted, I think, six plays where if any one of them had gone another way, Ohio State would
00:46have clinched the game, won the game.
00:47There was a saying missing McEwen wide open would have been a walk in touchdown.
00:51Two fumbles by Texas, two fourth down plays that that Arch Manning converted.
00:56The missed 45 yard field goal at the end.
00:58So a lot of things had to go right for Texas to get the win.
01:02And they did.
01:03And they ultimately took advantage of it.
01:05And they're the number one team and they deserve to be.
01:07But I think these teams are still clearly, you know, about as even as you could be.
01:12Would you who do you think needed this game more?
01:14Sark or Arch Manning?
01:17Oh, Sark, 100%.
01:18I mean, he was what?
01:20Oh, and five, oh, and six against Georgia and Ohio State up to this point.
01:25He needed to get one of these.
01:26The really only big notable win he has had against a powerhouse program was when they went to Tuscaloosa and
01:33beat Alabama in 2023.
01:35I think that got them into the playoff that year.
01:38But he's been blown out by Georgia several times.
01:40He's lost close games to Ohio State.
01:43You got to win some of these games just to give yourself some confidence that when you guys get later
01:48in the season, when you guys get into the playoff, that you can win some of these games.
01:52And I don't think you can underestimate the mental just relief Texas has talking to Arch Manning after the game.
02:00He said that he's been thinking about that lost Ohio State last year for a year.
02:05And so he's finally gotten that office back.
02:07I'm curious if this team moving forward is just able to play a lot more relaxed and confident in their
02:12abilities instead of feeling the pressure of we got to win this one.
02:15We got to be perfect.
02:16They've got some room for error now.
