The perfect serving of a salty snack favorite is ready in your microwave in less than 10 minutes! In this video, Nicole shows you how to make homemade potato chips in the microwave using thin slices of potato and oil. Surprisingly thin and crispy, make sure to add a dash of salt to your plate of chips before serving!

00:00The perfect single serving of a salty snack
00:02is ready in your microwave in less than 10 minutes.
00:05You get some parchment,
00:06put it down on a microwave safe plate.
00:08Coat the bottom of the parchment with a little oil
00:10and then you take very thinly sliced potato
00:13and then you want to fit as many potato slices as you can
00:16in a single layer, it has to be a single layer.
00:18And then you wanna brush the tops with oil too.
00:20So they do still have oil but it's a very small amount.
00:23Then they just go into the microwave,
00:25you have to do this in two stages.
00:27The first one about three and a half minutes,
00:28then you're gonna flip them
00:29and go another three to four minutes.
00:31You gotta keep your eye on it the second go round.
00:34Once they start drying out, then they brown really fast.
00:37Look at the potato chips.
00:38Like the fried version,
00:39you wanna salt it when they come out.
00:41You wanna take them off here to cool.
00:43Perfectly thin and crispy chip.
