00:10The year 1948
00:11A brand new kingdom had just emerged on the world map.
00:15that he faced a great challenge
00:19In today's Tajik, we will shed light on the dramatic and emotional story of the last days.
00:24Which is about the last moments of the life of founder of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
00:28A story that exists in history but people know very little about its details.
00:34just take a look
00:35a strange abyss
00:37September 11, 1948
00:40The blazing sun of Karachi, the intense heat, and a broken ambulance on the side of the road.
00:46Inside this ambulance, a very weak being, struggling between life and death, remained for more than an hour.
00:53was stuck till
00:54And after all, do you know what it was? The passengers of the trucks and buses passing by had no idea.
01:01was not
01:02Who is in front of them, the great leader of their new nation, present right in front of them in these circumstances?
01:09Was
01:09If we look at his condition in the last few months, we feel a strange restlessness and rush.
01:15it occurs
01:16In early 1948, when his companions began to leave, he was forced to leave for better and cooler air.
01:21Taken to the heights of Ziarat and Quetta
01:23But by August 13, his condition had worsened to such an extent that his weight had dropped to just 36 kg.
01:29had gone
01:30He was forced back down to the terrace, then on 9 September he was attacked by pneumonia which had already taken his life.
01:36further worsened the weakened condition
01:38And finally, he returned to Karachi on September 11, the day when that heartache from Ambilansa began.
01:44The incident happened and that very night at 10:20 pm, his journey ended forever.
01:49Well, behind this last journey, there was a big secret hidden, a powerful burden of community that
01:56The founder of this new community carried on completely alone for more than a decade.
02:01Here we see two completely different images.
02:05On the one hand, he was a public figure, a towering and tireless leader who was laying the foundations of this new state.
02:11He was working like a maniac to strengthen
02:14Even at the last moment, he clearly refused to lie down on the stretcher.
02:19Only because of the fear that the courage of the people and their companions may be broken.
02:24But his private reality was completely different.
02:27Actually, it was from the 1930s.
02:29Secretly, he was suffering from tuberculosis.
02:32His weight had reduced to just 36 kg.
02:35And despite all this, he smoked up to 50 Craven S cigarettes and Cuban sagas a day.
02:41He kept the secret of this serious illness hidden till his last breath.
02:44So that the movement for the creation of Pakistan does not suffer any setback.
02:47His sister Fatima Zina described this great sacrifice very well in her own words.
02:53He said that even at the height of his success, Qaid Azam was seriously ill.
03:00He worked with passion to establish Pakistan.
03:05And it is clear that he blinded his own interests to the fullest extent.
03:08These words clearly show that to bring this great and new country into existence
03:13He paid the price with his life
03:16And when the news of his death came, a community which had become independent just a year ago
03:21Had happened
03:22She completely drowned in a deep ocean of grief and shock.
03:26The scale of grief that day can be gauged from just this one number.
03:30ten lakh
03:31Nearly 10,000 people attended his funeral the next day.
03:35If we look at the unique documentary footage of the Strategic Research Institute
03:39So this scene is captured in it with great sadness and respect.
03:42Such a huge crowd of people, just like an ocean
03:45People had gathered to pay their last respects to their great leader.
03:49But after his passing, a new and very complex debate arose.
03:53This debate was both legal and historical.
03:55Which completely revolved around his religious identity and identity.
03:59After his death, a series of conflicting claims emerged regarding his will.
04:04On one side, according to a 1970 affidavit by scholar Wali Nasr and Fatima Jinnah herself
04:10He was described as a proponent of Shia Fiqh.
04:12On the other hand, a personality like Syed Sharif Addin Pirzada claimed
04:16that Jinnah had converted to Sunni Islam in 1901
04:19The research of scholar Akbar Ahmat says this
04:22that he was a staunch Sunni Muslim in his last days
04:24And quite apart from these, Taziya writers like Liaquat H Merchant and journalist Khalid Hammat
04:29emphasizes that he was non-sectarian
04:32That is, instead of being a Mazbhi Takshi, he considered himself just a Muslim.
04:36All these Muktalif Daraiyas were staking their claims on his inheritance.
04:40Look beyond all these court and sectarian debates.
04:43Historians mostly agree on this point.
04:46that Jinnah maintained a non-sectarian stance throughout his life
04:50His real aim was to liberate the Muslims of South Asia.
04:53It was to unite under a common Islamic umbrella.
04:56He did not want to be a part of any small sectarian division.
04:59And in fact, this political insight was the real source of his immense power.
05:04Now let us see what is happening on the world stage.
05:07The world and its tough opposition
05:10How does his Nazim view his success?
05:13Listen to these words of American historian Stanley Wulft.
05:16They say that a few individuals can visibly change the course of history.
05:21Even fewer people can change the map of the world.
05:24And hardly anyone in the world can be credited with creating a new country.
05:29Muhammad Ali Jana performed these three great feats.
05:31Think about it, this is not a common thing.
05:34This is a wonderful acknowledgement of his success on the pages of world history.
05:38And this revelation is really surprising.
05:41Lord Pethick Lawrence dismissed Lord Mountbatten's statement as
05:45And if the British rulers had known that Jinnah was going to die
05:49Then he would have postponed India's independence for a few months.
05:52Because Jinnah was completely indecisive on the issue of Pakistan.
05:56were not prepared for any compromise.
05:58That means such a big decision of dividing this entire region and its timing was only and only due to their strong power and intention.
06:04And due to his deteriorating health, there was force
06:07And not only this, even we, his opponents, acknowledge this fact.
06:11Indian politician Jaswan Singh openly wrote that he created something new from nothing.
06:17And he single-handedly stood up to the might of Congress and Britain, who didn't really like him.
06:23When such a loss comes from an opponent, the importance of that courage and unwavering resolve increases even more.
06:28She goes
06:29Now let's turn the wheel of time a little further and come to the recent past.
06:34Guyana September 2024 exactly 78 years later
06:38Let us see how his principles retain their importance in today's modern times.
06:44On the occasion of this 78th death anniversary, if the tribute of President Asefali Zardari and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Sharif is paid
06:50We will remove the debris
06:51So they talk about the same principles.
06:53Poetry is seized in difficult times, national unity, and political rivalries are replaced by debates.
06:57And equal legal, religious and human rights for every city
07:02He reminded us that these are the principles that are considered the way out of today's complex dilemmas.
07:07Even in today's times, his philosophy truly serves as a wonderful guiding light.
07:13So finally, we end this journey of information by bringing up a very important question.
07:19Is the ultimate identity of a leader determined by his caste identity or by the great community he represents?
07:25leaves behind
07:26On one side was a sick, weak and frail man stuck in an ambulance on the way
07:31And on the other side was a powerful movement and state like Pakistan which emerged on the map forever.
07:38This is a profound balance that will always keep us thinking.
07:43You will definitely think about it
