00:51I purchased her for $30,000 with 40,000 miles on her.

01:00Um, like I said, she is a retired hotel shuttle, so on top of the van, it actually still says
01:08Playa Del Largo on it.
01:10Um, so that's just like a fun little treat I like to have.
01:15No one can see it unless you're looking down on it.

01:18I think we were in like a hotel.
01:20Yeah, we happened to have it parked right outside our window, I think, and we were like, what does it
01:24say on top of it?
01:24We were like, what the fuck is that?
01:26We had no idea until we were like halfway through a door last year.
01:30Yeah.
01:31But, what are you doing?
01:32This is it.
01:33So we definitely take shifts.
01:34Chloe is the morning driver for the most part.
01:37Dan likes the middle shift, and I like the closing shift.
01:41And that's what we usually do.
01:42It actually works out great.
01:43So everybody gets what they want.
01:45And all the speakers in the van are actually completely blown.
01:50So they sound awful.
01:52But we do play music, and it's driver's choice, obviously.
01:57You know, I'll usually put on whatever Spotify's Happy Mix, which for me is like probably Interpol or something.
02:04I don't know if you have the Happy Mix roster.
02:06Yeah, yeah.
02:07Dan likes the 80s metal.
02:10Yeah, and I feel like I can tell when whoever's sitting shotgun is like, I'm so sick of this, when
02:14I just see a couple of earbuds going.
02:18It's like, cool, all right.
02:19And Dan's got a good, like, breaking case of emergency playlist.
02:22Yeah.
02:23If we're doing, like, a late night drive, because it is only the three of us that drive the van.
02:28So the emergency playlist will have, like, some train, a little bit of Uncle Cracker.

02:36Anything we can, like, sing and scream along to to keep us, like, awake.
02:40Like, because there are roads out there, highways out there that have no lights at all.

02:57And then I'll usually listen to, like, a podcast when I'm driving.
03:00Usually something crime-related or One Life, One Chance with Toby Morris is a good one, because it's very inspiring.
03:10And on the days when the drives are feeling long and the tour is feeling long, it's good to, like,
03:16listen to those things and be like, okay.
03:18Kind of puts you in a good mindset.

03:22Um, so about the van, the check engine light likes to come on and off a lot.
03:29Yeah, it's currently on.

03:30It was off for a long time, now it's back on.
03:32This has happened a couple times this tour.
03:33I think we've decided that pulling the trailer might do it, like, might make it go off.
03:41I think it's the extreme heat, though.

03:44It's been so fucking hot this tour.
03:47I mean, we've hit a lot of cities where it's, like, 100 degrees out.
03:53Well, yeah, Phoenix was 117 or something.
03:56I think it was, like, 100 in Detroit the other day.

04:04We, if we don't drink, like, our rider from the green room, we will bring it in the van with

04:38And I'll even, even if it's scorching hot out, I like to have my blanket on.

04:45Our AC is currently a little bit fritzy.

04:52And then I'll look over, and Colleen is sound asleep with a full blanket over.

12:58This is our first tour where we, um, well, I guess not when we brought the, we had two college
13:04interns that we brought on tour this last year.

13:09This is our first tour where we brought like a merch photographer content person with us.
13:15So, this is L'Oreal's bench and she, this is her bench always and she'll either be working on stuff
13:22back here or sleeping or watching the World Cup because she's a big Argentina fan.
13:28Um, and then one row back, the extra long row, perfect for our drummer on this tour, Ross, because he's
13:37extra tall.
13:39He's taller than Dan and Dan's usually the tallest person on the tour.
13:42And then we keep all of our, like, rider snacks back here.
13:48Usually we have, like, we have, we get Bear Bell's protein bars and perfect bars on our rider.
13:56But we go through those pretty fast because we'll eat them in the green room and then, like, for breakfast
14:01the next morning.

14:06But, honey, no worries because we've got rice cakes galore.
14:13Rice cakes and red wine.
14:15And almond butter.

14:52What we do, we go, we stay in hotels.
14:56Um, one of the bands said the other day, oh, that must be so nice driving a van and staying
15:03in nice hotels at night.
15:05Um, nothing nice about these hotels.
15:10So we bring our own water and our own snacks.
15:13And sometimes if we're lucky, we stay in, call it in Express.
15:19If you hear this, hit us up.
15:20When we're having a very lucky day, we'll stay at a holiday in Express.
15:25And it is bliss.

15:29I've got the cinnamon rolls in the morning.

15:33And they give you, on the pillows, the pillows, one, they're long pillows.

17:30And we didn't have to buy tequila for two years after that tour.
17:35And so this tour, we've only put tequila on one night a week.
17:40And yet, here we are in the same precarious situation.
