00:00Did the two of you just do your business in a cup, mix it around and hope for the best?
00:05This is by far the most common question I get.
00:07That's odd, I've never...
00:09It's the first thing, for whatever reason, it's the first thing that goes to people's
00:13minds when they find out we've had a child by a surrogacy.
00:16And I suppose it is going, okay, well, you want both of you in there, right?
00:19The answer is no, just for the record.
00:21Rock, paper, scissors.
00:22You go in your own cups.
00:25Is it like when they dropped the atomic bomb and they didn't tell which plane had the
00:31actual, and so it's like, here are the cups, they mix it around.
00:38Kind of, yeah, like what they, you know, we, we obviously we have, you know, we both went
00:43in our cups, we had an egg donor.
00:44So we had a bunch of eggs that were on, in a freezer or something, I guess.
00:49You fertilize those eggs.
00:53You fertilize them using each other's, you know, um, and then those, some of those become
00:59embryos and then you look at which embryos are the most viable, the most likely to lead
01:04to a successful pregnancy.
01:05That means if you were to do a paternity test, it would be one.
01:10Well, there's only one.
01:12Yeah, yeah.
01:12Do you know?
01:13Yeah, we knew from the start.
01:14Do we?
01:14Do you want to tell me?
