00:26then Alsari Joseph took four wickets to stop the Warriors on 117 all-out Falcons with a 65-run win
00:34Karim Ogoa and Evan Lewis looked dangerous together for the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons
00:43they looked ready to pull off the upset against the Guyana Amazon Warriors
00:47however when the score reached 31 Gore lost his wicket in the fourth over
00:57Lewis progressed to 22 before he got out LBW to Imran Tahir
01:04Amir Django and Hassan Nawaz put them in a good position
01:09Django played well for 27
01:14102 for 3 and the 15th over
01:16Flat, man in the deep, Hitmar won't drop it
01:19Hassan Nawaz top scored with 36
01:22Hard length and will be the end of Hassan Nawaz, Shamar Joseph strikes
01:27The Falcons got their explosion at the back end of the innings
01:30Shadab Khan not out on 30 of just 9 balls
01:34Shepard going for 51 runs off his 3 overs as the Falcons posted 182 for 5
01:41Last delivery
01:44Add 4 more to it
01:45This is some
01:47In reply, the Amazon Warriors got 33 of the first 2 overs
01:51However, they will be pulled back with a few wickets
01:54A duck from She-Hope
01:57Moeen Ali takes it
01:59A double wicket strike
02:01And a 4 from Shimran Hitmaier added pressure on the team
02:07Yeah, that's gone
02:09A wicket first ball for Joshua James
02:11And it's the big fish, Shimran Hitmaier
02:14Mohamed Nabi and Quinton Samson came together and Samson had to go
02:18The remaining batters played aggressively
02:21But they paid for their approach
02:24Settling
02:26Taken
02:261-17 all-out in 14.2 overs
02:29Al-Zahri Joseph taking 4 wickets at the top
02:32While Khan was economical with the ball with 2 wickets for 19 runs or 4 overs
02:38Falcons stopping the Amazon Warriors at home
02:41The Falcons now have 13 points to the Amazon Warriors' 12
02:45Though the latter have 3 games in hand
02:48Good enough
02:49Sergio Dufour, TV64
02:51Well, captain of the Guyana Amazon Warriors, Imran Tahir
02:55Is hoping his team can turn around the result quickly for their current match today
02:59Against the Sandusia Kings
03:01Meantime, Moeen Ali was happy his team stuck to their plan to defeat the Warriors
03:06Captain of the Guyana Amazon Warriors, Imran Tahir
03:09Was disappointed his team lost the match
03:11He says they must now reflect ahead of their next contest
03:15Yeah, look, I think our last death overs, 2-3 overs went for a few runs
03:20And which can happen to anyone really
03:22You know, we've been a very consistent team
03:24So it's good to have a taste of that
03:27But yeah, we need to reflect and come back tomorrow strongly
03:30Because we don't have much time
03:31He was not too quick to cast the blame on anyone for the defeat
03:34We had a great start, 7 overs, 82, if I'm not wrong
03:38And then I think we just have to bet around Nabi or whoever was there
03:41And then just see till the 17 overs
03:43The same thing the opposition did, you know
03:45So I think we need to just obviously reflect
03:48Where we can improve
03:49But I think this is the only thing I can see
03:50Our top four, one of the better, needs to be there till 15th over
03:53And I'm pretty sure, you know, we've got a good thing going on
03:58And this is one of those games I think I don't have to blame no one
04:02His opposite number, Moeen Ali, was pleased that they defeated the Amazon Warriors at home
04:07He explained that it's a confidence booster for the team
04:10I asked the guys, you know, I know we had qualified
04:12But I really wanted that top two
04:14And I wanted to show, us to show everyone, you know
04:17That Guyana can get beat, they're a brilliant side
04:19But, you know, to beat them here
04:20They're formidable and they're a brilliant side, very well balanced
04:24So it's pleasing to come and win here
04:26He also commented on the performance of Amir Django in the tournament so far
04:30I think actually generally he's done a good job
04:32Because our side is, we're not an explosive side
04:35We have, we can be right at the end
04:38And it just lays the foundation for us
04:39And we've been lucky enough to come good
04:42We would obviously like a few more runs
04:44You know, we don't want to be five down at the end of 20 overs
04:47We want to be at least seven, eight down, having a good goal
04:50But we're playing really well at the back end in particular
04:52But I think it's a tough, it's a tough place to bat sometimes
04:54And it was a nice foundation still to come in
04:58So it's pleasing but we can get better
