00:11The organic brand Green Valley Foods has surpassed $100 million in annual sales.
00:18Evelyn Carter, founder of Green Valley Foods, is now one of Greenport's most successful businesswomen.
00:23Evelyn, marrying you is the best thing that ever happened to me.
00:28Mom! Don't be scared!
00:55Are we going to be buried here?
01:13Oh my god! What is that thing? Mark, get it away from us!
01:18Bea, get out of the way! Get lost!
01:25Stop! It's not attacking us. It's trying to get help.
01:30Do you want me to help you?
01:33Okay.
01:40Okay.
01:52You're safe now. My name is Evelyn Carter. I own Silver Oak Farm. You can stay in the woods near
01:58the farm. No one will hurt you there.
02:00Evelyn Carter, you saved our lives. One day, I'll repay you tenfold.
02:10Mrs. Carter, we've confirmed illegal pesticide levels and fruit products from your farm. Several people are in critical condition. Whoever
02:17is responsible needs to come with us now.
02:20Sophia, you were in charge of this shipment. I'm so sorry, Evelyn. This is all my fault. If I go
02:28to prison, my life is over. Please, you have to help me.
02:34Evelyn? Evelyn trusted you with everything. How could you let this happen?
02:39She didn't do it on purpose. She's still young. Prison would ruin her entire life.
02:45Officer, I'm the owner of this farm. I'll take full responsibility. I'll go with you.
02:50Mom! Please don't take my mom away!
02:53I have some precious metals in a royal bank safe deposit box. They're for Lily's future. Please keep them safe
02:58for her.
02:59Don't worry. I'll take care of the farm. And I'll take care of our family.
03:06Mom!
03:11Save my mom.
03:18That stupid woman is finally gone. Now everything at Silver Oak Farm belongs to us.
03:31Ten years. I wonder how Lily, Mark, and Sophia are doing now.
03:45Excuse me. Did Sophia send you to pick me up?
03:48Who are you? I don't know any Sophia. Move. You're in the way.
03:51Well, well. If it isn't the great businesswoman Evelyn used to be so high and mighty.
04:01Now you're out and not one person came for you. Heard nobody visited you in ten years. Not once?
04:07We should go.
04:11Looks like the big shot businesswoman's got to walk herself home.
04:14Later!
04:16When you're down, everyone kicks you.
04:20But at least, I still have Sophia. I still have my family.
04:29Alpha!
04:32Carter was released today. This is on me.
04:35The extraction team got there late. Right now, we've lost track of her. We don't know where she is.
04:44Don't worry, Alpha. She got early release for good behavior.
04:47If our intel's right, she's heading to Silver Oak Farm now.
04:51You're gonna see her yourself?
04:53Alpha! Stop!
04:55If the public spots you, the whole city will lose its mind!
05:00I'm not saying we won't help her. I'm saying let me go first.
05:03The Lewis family has everything it has because of you.
05:06I'll handle this properly.
05:07Lawyers, financial advisors, security, everyone will be ready.
05:23I can't let Lily or the family see me like this. Thank God Sophia is willing to take me in.
05:31Get lost, you filthy beggar.
05:34Don't bring that stink anywhere near this company.
05:36Sir, there's been a misunderstanding. I'm here to see Mrs. Sophia Grant.
05:43Please, just tell her I'm here.
05:45You think someone like you can just walk in and see Ms. Grant?
05:48Stay here another second and I'll break your legs!
05:51Stop!
05:57What are you trying to do? Beat her to death?
06:02Sophia.
06:03Evelyn, darling! You're finally back!
06:06I prayed for you every single day. I always believed you'd come home safe.
06:13Come on, darling. Let me show you what's changed.
06:17These past ten years, I've done everything I could to keep the farm and the company running.
06:22Look at the vineyards, the ranch, the processing plant over there.
06:26Doesn't it feel almost like you never left?
06:29I know I'm not the owner here anymore. I came today to get back what I left in your care.
06:35What you left in my care?
06:38I'm sorry, darling. I'm not sure what you mean.
06:40Sophia, before I went to prison, I entrusted you with 55% of the company's shares.
06:45You remember that, don't you?
06:46Shares? Darling, are you sure that's what happened?
06:51Evelyn, you have no idea what happened after the scandal.
06:53The banks froze our loans. Partners pulled out.
06:57I had to sell off a lot of shares just to keep this place alive.
07:02Otherwise, Silver Oak Farm would have gone under years ago.
07:08That was 55%.
07:11So I really have nothing left?
07:14Don't say that.
07:16No matter what happens, I won't abandon you.
07:19You'll never be homeless.
07:20As long as I'm here.
07:22Do we have any openings right now?
07:24Miss Grant, every position is currently filled.
07:26Evelyn founded the Varroque Farm.
07:27She deserves a proper position here, no matter what.
07:30Well, there is one opening.
07:32It's very simple work.
07:33Oh?
07:34What kind of work?
07:36Cleaning manure from the entire stabe.
07:40Are you out of your mind?
07:42Evelyn used to own this place.
07:44And you want her shoveling manure?
07:47But darling, you did just get out of prison.
07:51A little fresh air might actually do you good.
07:53The second something better opens up, I'll move you over.
07:56I promise.
08:00Fine.
08:01I'll do it.
08:07Wait!
08:07Alpha, please slow down.
08:10I really can't keep up.
08:12Don't worry.
08:13Everything's ready.
08:15Top shelf supplements.
08:16The finest jewelry and gifts.
08:18For Evelyn or her family.
08:20Nothing but the best.
08:22Just give me a little more time.
08:24I'll go see her myself.
08:26I promise.
08:27I won't delay your reunion.
08:29I promise.
08:30I won't delay your reunion.
08:45Who said you could drink?
08:47You done yet or just slagging off?
08:49I just need some water.
08:50I can't keep going without it.
08:56Talking back?
08:57Finish all of this today or you don't eat.
08:59Not even scraps.
09:02Our produce goes to premium clustinants.
09:05Slow us down and you'll pay for it.
09:10I'm talking to you.
09:11Are you deaf?
09:12Or did ten years in prison rot your ears too?
09:15Who?
09:18What?
09:19Forgot your place?
09:22Mrs. Carter.
09:23This hasn't been your farm for a long time.
09:28Face it.
09:29You're just a manure shuggler now.
09:33Lucky the boss even keeps you around.
09:36What's going on here?
09:40What's going on here?
09:43Oh God, Evelyn.
09:45Are you hurt?
09:46Did they hurt you?
09:48Sophia.
09:55Evelyn is my best friend.
09:57How dare you treat her like this?
09:59Mrs. Grant, please don't be upset.
10:01We were just...
10:01We're just making sure she does her job.
10:03Making sure?
10:04You call this making sure?
10:06She's my sister.
10:08Not some punching bag for your amusement.
10:15Thank you, Sophia.
10:21Oh, silly me.
10:22Almost forgot you're just an ex-cond.
10:25Getting pushed around a little?
10:26That's perfectly normal for someone like you, isn't it?
10:32Everything you just did, it was all an act?
10:34Darling Evelyn, you're still as naive as ever.
10:37Ten years in prison took everything from you, and you think you deserve to stand where I stand?
10:42So from the moment I set foot on this farm, you were playing me the whole time?
10:46Thank God, you finally caught on.
10:50You played her perfectly, Ms. Grant.
10:51She never stood a chance.
10:53I never once shortchanged you.
10:55Money, trust, I gave you everything I had.
10:57So what did I ever do to you?
11:00Never shortchanged me?
11:01Don't make me laugh.
11:01What could a disgraced criminal possibly offer me?
11:12This is bad.
11:14Ms. Carter, she's being humiliated at Silver Oak Farm.
11:23Easy, old friend.
11:25Silver Oak Farm's just ahead.
11:27We're almost there.
11:35Sophia, I gave you that job.
11:38I brought you into this farm.
11:39Without me, you'd be nothing.
11:41Stop dragging up the past.
11:43Everything I have, I earned myself.
11:46Earned yourself?
11:47Ten years ago, I went to prison to protect your future.
11:50Oh, please.
11:51Stop patting yourself on the back.
11:53You think that was kindness, playing savior?
11:55And I've just loved looking at your pity from your throne or your charity.
12:00If you hadn't kept me under your thumb all these years, I could have gone so much higher.
12:05You still haven't figured it out?
12:07That accident ten years ago, I orchestrated the whole thing.
12:11I always wondered what happens when someone on a pedestal gets dragged down into the dirt.
12:17Enjoy it while you can.
12:19You'll pay for this.
12:20Shut up!
12:22I've been too soft on you.
12:23So soft, you forgot your place!
12:26Drag her to the manure pit.
12:27Let that clear her head.
12:28And remind her who owns this place.
12:36Stop.
12:40Especially your daughter.
12:41Think she'd be proud of mommy?
12:43You'll get what you deserve!
12:45One day you'll regret every bit of this!
12:48Pathetic.
12:48Get her.
12:49Teach her her place.
12:50Show her what obedience looks like!
12:52Need more help.
13:04Shh.
13:06I'm sorry.
13:09I want to help my daughter.
13:10Get her.
13:11Get her.
13:18Okay.
13:19PoInstrata.
13:20I could just break, along with the band number.
13:20I honestly need a pain.
13:20No.
13:20No.
13:20Not to the man.
13:21Why can't I get me?
13:21It's root of mommy.
13:29Monster.
13:41It's you.
13:43You're that injured ape from all those years ago.
13:53Alpha!
13:59This ape is yours?
14:01Who the hell are you?
14:02You brought this beast here to attack us?
14:04I saw everything clearly.
14:06You weren't the ones attacked.
14:07Miss Carter was.
14:09Ma'am, you're hurt.
14:10Trust me.
14:11From this day on, no one will hurt you again.
14:15Evelyn, you jailbird.
14:17Teaming up with this monster to attack us?
14:20Call security!
14:21Change this beast now!
14:31Oh, God!
14:32That thing's gonna kill someone!
14:35Alpha, please, stop!
14:37Miss Carter is weak right now.
14:39If you hurt someone here, you'll only frighten her.
15:03Take that beast down.
15:05Grab those two, too.
15:07Double bonus to whoever gets it done.
15:10Think carefully.
15:11One more step, and I promise, you and your entire family will be erased from this industry.
15:15That's rich.
15:17Some nobody from nowhere thinks he can threaten me?
15:20Exactly!
15:21Miss Grant is the rightful owner of this farm.
15:23You cross her for some jail cob, you're burying yourself!
15:34Monster!
15:35Monster!
15:35It's a monster!
15:37Come back!
15:38All of you, get back here right now!
15:40Did I say you could run?!
15:43I was prepared to give you one chance to make this right.
15:47Too bad you didn't take it.
15:51Alpha, these people aren't worth your effort.
15:53Allow me to handle this.
15:59Stop!
16:00Ever heard of Blackthorn Security Group?
16:03Private security for the most powerful families.
16:05They run this entire state.
16:08Blackthorn Security Group?
16:09So you've heard of them.
16:10I stopped needing you a long time ago.
16:13This farm was worthless in your hands.
16:15In mine?
16:16It's partnered with the most powerful corporation in the world.
16:19With Blackthorn behind us, there's nothing to worry about.
16:22One word from Mrs. Grant, and none of you walk out of here today!
16:26Sir, please don't put yourself in danger for me.
16:29Take him and go.
16:30Forget about me.
16:32Miss Carter, don't worry.
16:34These matters will be settled.
16:35One at a time.
16:39Correct me if I'm wrong.
16:40This Blackthorn Security Group, that's the one under the Lewis family?
16:46So you've heard of them, that's right.
16:48The Lewis family.
16:50So they're your Trump call.
16:52Scared now?
16:53Too bad.
16:54It's already too late.
16:55Sean Walker runs Blackthorn Security Group in this region.
16:59Personal friend of mine.
17:00Every mogul around hears him for protection.
17:03You crossed me today.
17:04Neither of you is walking out of here in one piece.
17:10Alpha, I failed you.
17:12I let this fool run wild and disturb your peace.
17:15Forgive me.
17:16Are you done with the act?
17:18Get on your knees and beg.
17:20Maybe I'll feel generous enough to let you go.
17:23Mr. Lewis, please.
17:24Take Alpha and go.
17:26Blackstone is way beyond any ordinary security firm.
17:30Even Alpha may not be able to handle them.
17:33She's right.
17:34One phone call and Sean will be here with his men.
17:37Go ahead.
17:38Call him.
17:38I'd love to see this.
17:40I'd love to see what makes this man of yours think I should bow.
17:43Pathetically cluteless.
17:44When Sean gets here, let's see how long that brave face lasts.
17:47Mr. Lewis, please don't.
17:49You've done so much for me already.
17:51It's not worth crossing Blackthorn over someone like me.
17:54Miss Carter, don't worry.
17:55If they trust their protector that much, let them bring him here.
17:58Today's the perfect chance to settle everything.
18:00Once and for all.
18:01Still playing it cool at a time like this?
18:04When Sean arrives, you'll all go down for illegally keeping that feast.
18:15Good.
18:16All these years, I've never seen anything this ridiculous.
18:19You don't even know who you're talking to, and yet you have the nerve...
18:25Alpha, this is my fault.
18:27My oversight run wild.
18:28Leave this to me.
18:37Notify headquarters.
18:38All regional security heads.
18:40Emergency review.
18:41Effective immediately.
18:42Suspend Sean Walker's authority.
18:44Full investigation into every violation under his watch.
18:50Brilliant.
18:51Oh, this just keeps getting better.
18:53You think you can strip Mr. Walker of his position?
18:55That's the funniest thing I've heard in years.
18:58He's lost his mind from fear.
19:00Why else would he think he gets to decide what happens to people like Mr. Walker?
19:05Men with real power wear tailored suits and travel with bodyguards.
19:08You look more like a homeless drifter.
19:11Sir, I can tell you're no ordinary man, but Sophia has the Lewis family behind her.
19:16Whoever you are, you can't take them head on.
19:18Looks like ten years in prison taught you a thing or two about reality.
19:21For old time's sake, I'll give you one last chance.
19:24Before Mr. Walker gets here, get on your knees and apologize.
19:28Miss Grant's been more than generous.
19:30Please, don't waste her kindness.
19:33Miss Carter, you really don't have to...
19:35Enough, Evelyn!
19:37I'm asking you one last time.
19:39Are you kneeling or not?
19:48Sophia, I've met plenty of arrogant fools like you.
19:51Every single one of them ended up dead.
19:53Who says my sister ends up dead?
19:55And who the hell touched her?
19:58You've got nerve!
19:59Say that again to my face if you dare!
20:07Go on.
20:08You were so tough a minute ago.
20:10I want to know.
20:11Who's got the nerve to mess with my people?
20:13Mr. Walker?
20:19Tell me.
20:20Who did this to you?
20:21Whoever it is, I'll make them pay.
20:23Them!
20:24That man thinks he can humiliate me just because he's got some dangerous animal with him.
20:28He let that monster threaten me and my staff!
20:33Mr. Walker, you'll handle this for me, won't you?
20:40I see.
20:41Just some nobody hiding behind a freak.
20:43No wonder he's so full of himself.
20:46You.
20:47Turn around.
20:48Mr. Walker's here in person and you won't even face him?
20:51Show some respect!
20:52Mr. Walker, he didn't just humiliate me.
20:54He disrespected you too.
20:56Don't let them off easy.
20:58And that ape, I'll have it roasted for dinner.
21:02I don't like repeating myself.
21:04Turn around.
21:06Now!
21:15So you're Sean Walker, regional head of Black Turr Security Group.
21:20Your arrogance lives up to your reputation.
21:22How dare you!
21:24You talk to Mr. Walker like that!
21:28Apologize!
21:28Now!
21:30Mr. Walker, you came all this way, and he's still acting all high and mighty.
21:35He has zero respect for you.
21:37Exactly!
21:38He's only bluffing because of that freak animal!
21:46Just a beast.
21:48I've been to wildlife reserves myself, seen things far more dangerous than this.
21:54You think some overgrown ape is going to scare anyone?
22:00Everyone?
22:00Everyone?
22:00Everyone, get ready.
22:02Put this ape down.
22:03Right here, right now.
22:09Alpha, easy now.
22:11He's not worth your anger.
22:13Leave him to me.
22:18Sean, allow me to reintroduce myself.
22:21My last name is Lewis.
22:25So what?
22:26Your last name means nothing to me.
22:29What?
22:30So your family can identify the body?
22:33The Lewis family.
22:35The one your Blackthorn Security Group serves.
22:38The Lewis family?
22:39The Lewis family behind Blackthorn?
22:41All those years at Blackthorn,
22:43and you've never heard the name Lewis?
22:46You're...
22:47You're...
22:47Mr. Lewis?
22:52You're really Mr. Lewis?
22:55No wonder you look familiar.
22:57Now that you know who I am,
22:58call off your men.
22:59Now.
23:01No.
23:03That's impossible.
23:04The head of the Lewis family?
23:07Someone like that would never show up alone in a place like this.
23:10Right.
23:12A man like Mr. Lewis would have a convoy and a security team
23:16showing up alone at some remote farm,
23:19doesn't add up.
23:23Sean.
23:24If I were you,
23:25I would order everyone to leave.
23:26Immediately.
23:27Right now.
23:31The family might still show you mercy.
23:34If not,
23:35losing your position will be the least of it.
23:39Mr. Walker, don't fall for it.
23:41If he's really Mr. Lewis,
23:42where are his bodyguards?
23:44Exactly.
23:45Real big hots never go anywhere without an entourage.
23:49Mr. Walker,
23:49take out that beast first.
23:51Without it backing him up,
23:52let's see how long he keeps up the act.
23:55A fraud!
23:56You think you can impersonate Mr. Lewis and play me?
24:00Everyone, move in!
24:02Take them down!
24:03Kill those beasts!
24:16Listen up!
24:18They're just the damn animals!
24:20You gonna run with everyone watching?
24:23Crush them!
24:24All at once!
24:32Hold the line!
24:33Don't scatter!
24:43Oh God!
24:45He called them all here!
24:55These apes.
24:57It summoned all of them?
24:58Don't be afraid, Miss Carter.
25:00This is a gift Alpha was born with.
25:02Calling his kind,
25:03it's nothing to him.
25:10Who?
25:11Who the hell are you?
25:15Finally,
25:16answer it.
25:18After that call,
25:19you'll know exactly how badly you screwed up.
25:22Sean,
25:23are you out of your mind?
25:25Get on your knees
25:25and beg Mr. Lewis for forgiveness.
25:28If he won't forgive you,
25:29your life is over.
25:31Mr. Walker.
25:34You idiot!
25:35This is all because of you!
25:37I'd never have crossed a man like him!
25:49We should go.
25:51You need rest,
25:52not more of this.
25:55But what about them?
25:57Don't worry.
25:58They'll live.
25:59It's just a bruise.
26:01My security team is on the way.
26:03They'll handle everything.
26:04That's a relief.
26:06Thank you for everything today,
26:07Mr. Lewis.
26:14I've arranged a car for you
26:15and a quiet place to stay.
26:17It'll be good for your recovery.
26:18You've done so much already.
26:20I don't even know how to thank you.
26:22Please,
26:23don't feel burdened.
26:25You saved Alpha.
26:27You saved our family.
26:29Helping you is how we repay that debt.
26:31One more thing.
26:33Everything Sophia stole from you over the years,
26:34I'll get it all back.
26:36I never imagined Sophia would become this.
26:40And my husband,
26:41my daughter,
26:41I don't know how they've been.
26:43I have to go see them myself.
26:45I understand.
26:46But rest assured,
26:47I've had people keeping a quiet eye on them all these years.
26:50They're doing well.
26:53Maybe.
26:54But I won't rest until I see them with my own eyes.
26:57Alpha,
26:58what do you think?
27:04Then it's settled.
27:05I'll have someone take you back right away.
27:15What about him?
27:16Will he come with us?
27:17He's been waiting for you all these years.
27:19He'd never let you leave alone.
27:20But he won't ride in a car.
27:22The forest is faster for him than any road.
27:25Don't worry.
27:25Just get in.
27:36Word is,
27:37Ms. Grant's business is booming.
27:38Profits are through the roof this year,
27:40they say.
27:41Half the big names in town
27:42are cozying up to her now.
27:44Damn right.
27:46Sophia's smart,
27:46got vision,
27:47knows how to run a business.
27:49What's Evelyn got on her?
27:53What are you spacing out for?
27:55You're just like your mother,
27:56completely useless.
27:57Go make dinner and clean this place up.
27:59I don't want to see this mess again.
28:04Mark!
28:04I've got incredible news.
28:06What is it?
28:07The buyer agreed.
28:085.5 million dollars!
28:13We get Lily to do the identity verification.
28:16Cash out Evelyn's 5 million trust fund,
28:19and we're half a million richer.
28:28Starting today,
28:30pull her out of school.
28:32Every single class.
28:34Keep her in this house.
28:36She doesn't see anyone.
28:39Easy.
28:40I'll take care.
28:41No!
28:42You can't pull me out of school!
28:44That money is from my mom!
28:46She left it for me!
28:49You have no right to touch a single cent!
28:52Shut your mouth!
28:54Do you have any idea what you're saying?
28:57You're an adult now.
28:59Shouldn't you do your part for this family?
29:03Your mother was so damn selfish,
29:06locking away all that money where we can't touch it.
29:09You're just like her!
29:11Mom!
29:11Mom, what are you coming back for me?
29:18Mom, what are you coming back for me?
29:27My people have been watching over your family all these years.
29:30They're safe.
29:31Don't worry.
29:32Thank you, Mr. Lewis.
29:37But there's something that's never sat right with me.
29:40What is it?
29:41Your husband and daughter have been living normal lives all this time.
29:44So why haven't they visited you?
29:48Not even once.
29:50It doesn't add up.
29:54I went in as a criminal.
29:57If they came too often,
30:00people would talk.
30:01From what I've found,
30:03your daughter, Lily,
30:04tried to visit multiple times.
30:07She was turned away every time.
30:10All signs points to Sophia.
30:13Everything else I can endure.
30:15But if she's hurt my daughter,
30:17I will never forgive her.
30:27I'm finally home.
30:32I'll walk the rest of the way.
30:33My home isn't far.
30:36It's Alpha.
30:37Looks like he got here before us.
30:44Mom, that money you've been saving,
30:46can I borrow it?
30:47I could use it right now.
30:51Lend it to you.
30:52That's my retirement money.
30:53If I give it to you,
30:54what do I live on?
30:56You're my mother.
30:57I need help right now.
30:59Shouldn't you step up?
31:01Sophia's been taking care of you all these years.
31:03She's got businesses,
31:04status,
31:05plenty of money.
31:06Why do you keep coming after my savings?
31:11Sophia's pouring everything into the business.
31:14She's expanding,
31:14every dollar's tied up.
31:15I don't want to ask her right now.
31:17She won't even help with this much.
31:19Back when Evelyn ran that empire,
31:21money was never an issue.
31:23If only things hadn't...
31:24Mom,
31:24I've told you a hundred times,
31:26I don't want to talk about the past.
31:28Sophia's my partner.
31:29I'm not going to go begging a woman for money.
31:31I need that money.
31:33Period.
31:34If my own mother won't back me up,
31:37don't expect me to be there when you need me.
31:39I swear I don't know what I did to deserve this.
31:42There she is.
31:43My good mother.
31:44This is nothing,
31:45trust me.
31:46Once Lily's married off,
31:47we'll get a fat payout.
31:48And when Sophia's business takes off,
31:50we'll have more than we need.
31:52I just hope it works out the way you say.
31:54By the way,
31:55isn't Evelyn's sentence almost up?
31:57So what?
31:58A woman with a record?
31:59What's she going to do?
31:59The smartest thing she can do is keep quiet
32:01and stay in her lane.
32:09Mr. Lewis,
32:09you really don't have to come with me.
32:11I've been gone for ten years.
32:13If I show up with someone like you,
32:15my family might get the wrong idea.
32:17Of course.
32:18Go be with your family.
32:19I'll wait here.
32:23Thank you, Mr. Lewis.
32:33We were just talking about her.
32:35Could it really be Evelyn?
32:38Let me handle Lily first.
32:40Evelyn's soft-hearted,
32:41but stubborn as hell.
32:42If she finds out how Lily's been living,
32:44she'll tear this whole house apart.
32:48Hurry.
32:49Get that girl in clean clothes
32:50and wipe her face.
32:51No matter what.
32:53Evelyn can't suspect a thing.
32:59Listen.
33:00Your jail-larg mother's back.
33:02Change your clothes.
33:03Now.
33:05Drop the pathetic act.
33:06When you see her,
33:07keep your mouth shut.
33:09You say one wrong word in front of her.
33:11Trust me,
33:11you don't want to know what happened.
33:12I understand.
33:14I understand.
33:14I'm Paul.
33:15Mark.
33:15Mother.
33:16Are you there?
33:17Are you there?
33:18Are you there?
33:21Are you there?
33:22Are you there?
33:22I understand.
33:24I'm home.
33:25Mark?
33:25Mother?
33:26Are you there?
33:33Thank you for everything, Mother.
33:35For looking after the house
33:37and for taking care of Lily.
33:39Well, you're back.
33:40Getting home safe,
33:41that's something to thank God for.
33:45It's cold out here.
33:46Let's go inside and talk.
33:48That won't be necessary.
33:49You've been gone ten years.
33:50Things are different now.
33:51Besides, you must be exhausted.
33:53You need rest.
33:54Why don't you stay at the motel in town
33:55for a couple days?
33:56Once everything's settled,
33:57I'll have Mark come get you.
33:59Are Mark and Lily not home?
34:01Can I at least see them before I go?
34:04I understand.
34:05Someone fresh out of prison.
34:07People talk.
34:08I won't stay long.
34:09I just want to see them.
34:13You know how people in town are talking.
34:15Go stay there tonight.
34:16First thing tomorrow,
34:17I'll bring Lily to see you myself.
34:22Do you not want me here at all?
34:26You've got it all wrong.
34:28It's just how things work around the farm.
34:30Someone fresh out of prison
34:31shouldn't come straight home.
34:34Something's wrong with Lily.
34:35She's always been closest to me.
34:37If she knew I was here,
34:38she'd never hide from me.
34:41I need to see her.
34:43Now.
34:43Lily's asleep.
34:45Whatever it is,
34:45it can wait till tomorrow.
34:46Just one look.
34:47I need to know she's okay.
34:49Then I'll leave.
34:53Have you ever once thought about the child?
34:56You call yourself a mother
34:57and you wake her up for this?
35:01Lily!
35:05It hurts.
35:25Did you just push me?
35:27Why are you back?
35:28Don't you know what you are?
35:31Your record dragged us through hell for years.
35:34Especially Lily.
35:43If you really cared about Lily,
35:45you wouldn't be here.
35:48She's been humiliated at school
35:50for years because of you.
35:52This is all my fault.
35:54Mom failed you.
35:56Enough!
35:57If you want Lily to have any kind of life,
35:58leave.
35:59Now.
36:00My sweet girl.
36:02Mom's so sorry.
36:04I'll go now.
36:07Get the girl ready.
36:09I'm coming for her tonight.
36:11Mark, why so sudden?
36:12The bank's closed at this hour.
36:13There's no time for the shares
36:14and property paperwork.
36:15Plans changed from the top.
36:17Just have her ready.
36:18Got it?
36:18Once it's done,
36:19the pay goes up to $30,000.
36:22But if you screw this deal up,
36:23your whole family's done in Weldon County.
36:27Who is that?
36:29Someone from the school?
36:33$30,000.
36:46You don't look okay.
36:50If something's weighing on you,
36:52talk to me.
36:54You don't have to carry it alone.
36:58It's nothing.
37:00I just realized today
37:02I wasn't the only one
37:03paying the price all these years.
37:07Mark and Lily,
37:08they suffered so much because of me.
37:11It's not your fault you were deceived.
37:14The ones who used your trust,
37:16they're to blame.
37:18Your kindness was never a crime.
37:22Damn, this road's a nightmare.
37:24My new shoes are trashed.
37:27Hey.
37:29You two live around here?
37:31Where's Mark Carter's place?
37:34What do you want with him?
37:37None of your business.
37:39Farm folks always gotta be nosy.
37:42Mr. Harrison,
37:43I've been here before.
37:43It's that house up ahead.
37:51They don't look like decent people.
37:53How do you get mixed up
37:54with guys like that?
37:55If you're worried,
37:56we can head back and check on him.
38:09Mr. Harrison,
38:11you're finally here.
38:13Where's Mark?
38:14And the girl?
38:16Don't tell me they ran.
38:17Never, sir.
38:18We wouldn't dare cross you.
38:20Mark's inside talking her into it.
38:23Smart move.
38:24Bring her out.
38:25I've got other plans tonight.
38:26Not wasting time in a dump like this.
38:29Yes, sir.
38:30Right away.
38:34I just found him.
38:38Don't do this.
38:45Enough!
38:45Stop crying!
38:47Every meal,
38:48every shirt on your back,
38:49this family paid for all of it.
38:51Now it's your turn to give back.
38:52And you're playing victim?
38:54Listen,
38:56tonight,
38:56you don't get a choice.
38:57Do what I say,
38:58or life gets ten times worse
39:00for you and your mother.
39:12Mark,
39:12Mark, you actually pulled this off.
39:14Didn't expect me to show up in person,
39:16did you?
39:18Your daughter's grown up real pretty.
39:21That helpless look on her face,
39:25very appealing.
39:26If she weren't born so low,
39:29I might arrange something more
39:32respectable for her.
39:37Whatever you say,
39:38Mr. Harrison,
39:39you want her now,
39:40or is there something else?
39:42Now.
39:43I've got business tonight.
39:46Not wasting my time
39:48in a dump like this.
39:52Take her.
39:56No!
39:57I won't go with you!
39:59Let me go!
40:04Enough, Lily!
40:06Mr. Harrison's giving you a chance.
40:08Be grateful.
40:09Don't be like your mother.
40:11She never knew her place either.
40:13Please forgive her.
40:14She's young.
40:15Doesn't know any better.
40:17Just take her.
40:19Finally,
40:20someone with sense.
40:22Take her.
40:23Wait, please!
40:24Mark,
40:25I hope you haven't forgotten your place.
40:28No, no,
40:28you've got it wrong.
40:30I meant no disrespect.
40:32I just wanted to ask
40:33about the payment you promised.
40:36That's rich.
40:37I thought you'd grown a conscience.
40:40Couldn't let go of your own daughter.
40:41But no.
40:43It's just the money.
40:45The deal hasn't changed.
40:46Once it's done,
40:47you'll get paid.
40:49Mr. Harrison,
40:50could you advance me part of it?
40:52My creditors are closing in.
40:53I won't survive the week.
40:56That's your problem.
40:57Not mine.
40:59Come to think of it,
41:00your wife,
41:01the ex-con,
41:03didn't she run her own business?
41:05She must have left some money behind.
41:09Don't tell me you blew through all of it.
41:11No, sir.
41:13After she went away,
41:14everything went downhill.
41:15I wouldn't be here begging
41:17if I weren't desperate.
41:19Please.
41:20Just give me part of it now.
41:22Enough!
41:23You don't get to tell me how I do things.
41:25Sit tight and wait for your cut.
41:27Push me again,
41:28and I promise you'll regret it.
41:30What are you standing around for?
41:31Take the girl!
41:37Stop.
41:38What's going on here?
41:39And who the hell is this?
41:41Since when does an outsider
41:42get a say in my business?
41:44Walk away,
41:45or you'll regret getting involved tonight.
41:48Mom!
41:50Lily!
41:51Lily!
41:57Someone better explain what's going on here.
42:00Another hero?
42:00Good.
42:01Show me what gives you the right.
42:03Mr. Lewis, please.
42:05Save my child!
42:08Don't be afraid.
42:10No one's taking her anywhere.
42:19Lily, don't be scared.
42:20Tell me,
42:21did they hurt you?
42:22Mom,
42:23I'm so scared.
42:25It's okay now.
42:26Mom's right here.
42:29You hurt my men, pal.
42:30You've chosen to cross me.
42:32I am.
42:33Seems you don't know who I am.
42:35My father is Hector Harrison,
42:36the biggest contractor around.
42:38Our family's got business all over the county.
42:40Nobody dares cross the Harrisons.
42:43Sir,
42:44a local contractor's name
42:45isn't nearly enough to worry me.
42:47Are you insulting me?
42:49No?
42:49Just stating a fact.
42:51Maybe you can throw a punch,
42:53but fists don't solve.
42:54Apologize to me.
42:55Now,
42:55make up for what you just pulled,
42:56then maybe I'll let you walk.
42:57Mr. Harrison,
42:58I'm not the one who owes an apology here.
43:03Apologize to the lady and her daughter,
43:05then leave.
43:06You're a real comedian, sir.
43:08Never met anyone so full of himself.
43:10Mr. Lewis,
43:11are we going to get in trouble over this?
43:13No.
43:13These people aren't worth worrying about.
43:15Besides,
43:17Alpha's nearby.
43:21As for the Harrisons,
43:22they're not nearly as important as they think.
43:32This woman,
43:34that wife of yours?
43:38Let go!
43:40Mr. Rake,
43:41not someone you can mess with!
43:52This woman,
43:54won now that wife of yours?
43:57Look what you've done!
43:59One day!
44:00You've been back one day and already this!
44:02Do you have any idea who you just crossed?
44:04One word from Mr. Harrison,
44:05and our whole family is finished!
44:13Mark,
44:15how could you say that to me?
44:16Mr. Harrison,
44:17this woman is nothing to me.
44:18She spent ten years in prison.
44:19She stopped being my wife
44:20the day she was sentenced.
44:22Ten years behind bars.
44:23So you're the woman
44:24who ran that trading company.
44:25The one her own husband
44:26and best friend put away.
44:28Now it all makes sense.
44:29A woman who can't even see
44:31how she was destroyed
44:33can't see what's right in front of her.
44:35What did you just say?
44:37Since you already know,
44:38there's nothing to hide.
44:39That's right.
44:40Sophia and I set it all up.
44:42Brilliant.
44:44Absolutely brilliant.
44:45I've met plenty of ungrateful men,
44:47but one who confesses to his wife's face
44:49just to save his own skin,
44:51that's a first.
44:52And the best part?
44:54Look at her face.
44:55She didn't even know until tonight.
44:57That's just proof she's a fool.
45:01Mark.
45:02So all of it,
45:03these ten years,
45:04you and Sophia planned everything,
45:05and I actually believed you.
45:08Who are you to talk?
45:09When you ran the farm,
45:10you were sitting on a fortune.
45:12Every time I asked you,
45:13turn me down.
45:13If you really saw me as family,
45:15why were you so cheap?
45:16That was the farm's money,
45:18and you were gambling nonstop.
45:20Every debt you racked up,
45:21I'm the one who paid it off.
45:22Enough!
45:24You've got two choices.
45:26Apologize to Mr. Harrison,
45:27or hand over Lily and get out.
45:29Mom, I won't go with him.
45:30Those gold bars are mine.
45:32You left them for me.
45:33They can't just take them.
45:35Gold bars?
45:36Mark, what is going on?
45:38None of your business.
45:41Give me the kid.
45:43Help!
45:45Help!
45:49Tonight,
45:49every last one of you will answer
45:51for what you did to Mrs. Carter.
45:54Looks like someone here
45:55doesn't know his place.
45:58Leon, watch out!
46:03An illegal firearm
46:05on private property.
46:06Intent to harm?
46:07That's more than enough
46:08to put you in front of a judge.
46:10A judge?
46:11You don't even know where you are.
46:12Around here,
46:13the Harrisons are the law.
46:15A gun's the least of it.
46:16I could erase all of you tonight.
46:17No one would ask a single question.
46:19Let's hope you're this confident
46:20when you're standing before a judge.
46:23You want to hurt someone,
46:24come at me.
46:25Got some nerve.
46:26Too bad you picked the wrong fight.
46:28A bit past your prime,
46:29but still easy on the eyes.
46:31Once I deal with the rest,
46:33maybe I'll let my boys
46:34take real good care of you.
46:34The Harrisons,
46:35remember what you said tonight.
46:37Starting tomorrow,
46:38that name won't exist on this land.
46:39Get him!
46:41Let's see if you can talk like that
46:42face down on the ground!
46:49What are you standing around for?
46:51Kill him!
46:56What the hell is that?
46:58What the hell is out there?
46:59Alpha's here.
47:01Take Lily and go.
47:02I'll handle this.
47:04But tonight, I need answers.
47:06I understand, but not yet.
47:07Get yourself and your daughter
47:09to safety first.
47:12When this is over,
47:14they'll tell you everything.
47:22Mrs. Carter,
47:23now you can ask them.
47:24Good.
47:25You have no idea
47:26who you're messing with!
47:27You don't know
47:28who's behind Mr. Harrison.
47:29The Harrisons are just the beginning.
47:33Blackstone Security Group
47:34is backing them.
47:35Scared now?
47:36Maybe you haven't heard
47:37of the Harrisons.
47:38Blackstone Security Group
47:39is way above your pay grade.
47:42Mr. Walker's my close friend.
47:44He runs County Security.
47:46He can make you disappear.
47:48Just like that.
47:55What?
47:55You don't believe me?
47:56Do you think I'm joking?
47:57Go ahead.
47:58Let me make a call.
48:00Ms. Carter,
48:01what do you think?
48:04If he insists,
48:06let him make his call.
48:08Start rehearsing your apology.
48:10Once Mr. Walker gets here,
48:12this won't end so easy.
48:15Just a security chief.
48:16I'd be happy to meet him.
48:17You have no idea
48:18what you're dealing with.
48:20Don't tell me you've never heard
48:21of Blackthorne Security Group.
48:24Mr. Harrison,
48:25why waste your breath?
48:26A man like him
48:28isn't even fit to set foot
48:29in Blackthorne headquarters.
48:31I can't wait to see
48:32what happens next, sir.
48:33Let's hope you can still
48:34look this smug
48:35when it does.
48:39Faster than I expected.
48:41Hear that?
48:42That's Blackthorne efficiency.
48:44Your luck just ran out, sir.
48:51Alpha,
48:52you're here.
48:56Don't be scared, Lily.
48:58He's Mom's friend.
48:58He won't hurt us.
49:03Oh, God.
49:05What the hell is that thing?
49:07That's it.
49:09The Black Beast from ten years ago.
49:23You know that thing?
49:35Looks like karma comes for everyone.
49:37Evil never wins.
49:45Ten years ago,
49:47I saved a wounded ape.
49:49I never expected anything in return.
49:52Alpha brought Mr. Lewis here
49:54to protect me and Lily.
49:57But you and Sophia,
50:00you broke every trust.
50:02Hurt your own family,
50:04destroyed lives,
50:06all for greed.
50:07So that's it?
50:10You saved a few freaks by accident?
50:13I thought you actually had
50:14real power behind you.
50:19What?
50:20You think these monsters
50:20scare anyone?
50:21They're nothing against
50:22a global corporation.
50:25So that's it.
50:27I wondered why
50:28you weren't afraid
50:28of the Blackthorn group.
50:30Turns out you're just
50:30hiding the Blackthorn group.
50:32You've got it wrong.
50:34Men like you?
50:35Not even worth Alpha's time.
50:37What's that supposed to mean, sir?
50:39Who the hell messed
50:40with my friend, Rake?
50:42I want to see
50:43who's got the nerve!
50:58Who dares do this
51:00to Mr. Harrison?
51:01Someone out here
51:02thinks they can disrespect
51:03Blackthorn security group?
51:07Sean!
51:08Finally!
51:10Get rid of these people
51:11for me!
51:13What happened here?
51:14I'm about to lose
51:15my damn job.
51:16I need the CEO
51:17to cut me some slack.
51:18Nobody better be
51:19causing him trouble.
51:21Mr. Walker,
51:21what's going on?
51:22What's got you so worked out?
51:23None of your business.
51:23Where's the troublemaker?
51:26Who?
51:27Who the hell?
51:35Sean, he's...
51:44Sean, they're just two animals.
51:46You brought all these men?
51:48Can't handle a couple of beasts?
51:50Mr. Walker,
51:52that stranger
51:53brought these beasts.
51:54Grab him first.
51:55The monsters won't matter.
51:58Exactly.
51:59This arrogant fool
52:00has zero respect
52:01for Blackthorn security group.
52:03Mr. Walker,
52:05I ain't scared
52:06of those beasts.
52:07This punk threatened
52:08Mr. Harrison
52:09with those monsters.
52:10Let me handle him.
52:16Shut your mouth!
52:17You think you can
52:18disrespect this man?
52:19Do you want to get yourself
52:20killed,
52:21or all of us?
52:22now!
52:25Mr. Lewis,
52:26forgive me.
52:28If I'd known it was you,
52:29I'd never it was you.
52:30I'd never have come here
52:31with my men.
52:36Sean,
52:38what's wrong with you?
52:40He's just some nobody.
52:49Rake,

53:01to cause trouble.
53:02I came tonight
53:03to apologize to Evelyn.
53:05Sophia,
53:06what are you talking about?
53:07Why would you
53:08apologize to Evelyn?
53:12Watch how you
53:12address me,
53:13Mr. Carter.
53:14You and I
53:15are nothing to each other.
53:16Not anymore.
53:19Nothing?
53:20If I hadn't
53:21propped up

53:22all these years,
53:23you'd have nothing!

53:37is unforgivable.
53:39Please,

53:43one chance
53:43to make things right.
53:44Make things right?
53:45How dare you
53:47say that
53:47to my face?
53:48If the truth
53:49hadn't come out
53:49tonight,
53:50I'd still have
53:50no idea
53:51who destroyed
53:51my life.

54:03It was all
54:04Mark's idea.
54:05He pushed me
54:06into it.
54:07He planned
54:07the whole thing.
54:08Yes,
54:09I was greedy,
54:10but he was the one
54:11behind all of it.
54:12You're lying!
54:14You'd throw me
54:15under the boat
54:15just to save yourself?
