00:00:00I'm Selene, daughter of the Alpha of the Ashen Creek Pack.
00:00:04I gave everything for my family.
00:00:07My dad and brothers wouldn't be where they are without me.
00:00:10But my older sister, Maeve, was the only one who ever mattered to them.
00:00:17In the end, they killed me.
00:00:20All for her.
00:00:25But the Moon Goddess gave me a second chance.
00:00:36The mate bond has been broken.
00:00:40Tonight, each of you will choose whether to stay in Ashen Creek or go with your mother to North Point.
00:00:48I'm the future Alpha.
00:00:49Of course I'm staying.
00:00:50I'm staying too!
00:00:52Dad, I'm not leaving either.
00:00:54Everyone in Northfield is rude and they have way too many rules.
00:00:58I just want to stay with you.
00:01:00That's my girl.
00:01:02In my last life, Maeve was the one who went with Mom.
00:01:06Now she's fighting to stay.
00:01:08Did she come back too?
00:01:11We're deciding something this important, and you slept through it.
00:01:16You're completely hopeless.
00:01:18Well, what do you want to do?
00:01:22I'm going with Mom to North Point.
00:01:25Sally, no one in North Point will even give you the time of day.
00:01:29You'll regret this.
00:01:31Ashen Creek may be struggling now, but in three years, this pack will rise to the top, and I'll become
00:01:37the Lycan King's Luna.
00:01:39Fine.
00:01:40Then I guess we'll see how far you all get without me.
00:01:47I've been here with Mom for three days.
00:01:50This is the first time Eleanor, the former Lena, has asked to see me.
00:01:56Selina, wait here.
00:01:57I'll let her know you've arrived.
00:01:58Okay.
00:02:00I finally have a grandbotter.
00:02:03Of course I'm going to spoil her.
00:02:05Maybe I should take her into town and buy her a whole new wardrobe.
00:02:11She sounds like she actually cares about me.
00:02:13That's nothing like the cold, difficult woman may have described.
00:02:18Alpha, I hate to say this, but my sister has always cared too much about money and status.
00:02:25She'll do anything if she thinks she can gain from it.
00:02:28Her sudden decision to come to Northville can't be that simple.
00:02:32Please don't let her manipulate Eleanor.
00:02:36I understand.
00:02:40Too many people come to North Pine with an agenda.
00:02:43Father moved this mother and daughter into the packhouse way too fast.
00:02:47I need to keep my guard up.
00:02:49Grandma, that's way too much.
00:02:52She's only been here three days.
00:02:56If you come on this strong, you'll just make her uncomfortable.
00:03:00Fine.
00:03:02I'll tone it down.
00:03:04I have some packed business to handle.
00:03:06I'm heading out.
00:03:09Mrs. Blackthrone, Celeste is here.
00:03:11Come in!
00:03:22She's our mate.
00:03:24Calm down.
00:03:32An Omega?
00:03:33She's supposed to be my mate?
00:03:39Good to meet you, brother.
00:03:41We don't share a drop of blood.
00:03:43You're in Asheville, and you just joined Northville.
00:03:47Your mother becoming my father's mate doesn't make you my sister.
00:03:50May have was right.
00:03:51This future alpha doesn't have an ounce of warmth in him.
00:03:55Oh, come sit down, sweetheart.
00:03:58What are you standing there for?
00:04:02I didn't have time to prepare.
00:04:06Anything too fancy for our first meeting?
00:04:13I'd like you to have these pearls.
00:04:15Let me put them on for you.
00:04:18In my last life, Maeve had the exact same necklace and didn't even want it.
00:04:24Me.
00:04:25My father and brothers never gave me a single piece of jewelry before I died.
00:04:31Not even the cheapest trinket.
00:04:34You don't have to thank me.
00:04:36There's one more thing.
00:04:38Would you like to attend Thornwell Academy?
00:04:41Yes, Mrs. Blackthrone.
00:04:43No more Mrs. Blackthrone.
00:04:45We're family now.
00:04:46Just call me Grandma.
00:04:50Thank you, Grandma.
00:04:52That's better.
00:04:53I'll handle your enrollment.
00:04:55And Adrienne can drive you to and from school.
00:04:57A family that cares about me.
00:04:59A chance to go to school.
00:05:01I begged for both in my last life and never got either.
00:05:05This time, I'm holding on to you.
00:05:13Well, look at you.
00:05:15The new little sister.
00:05:17Must be pretty special.
00:05:19If even our ice-cold future alpha is personally driving you to school,
00:05:28Nice necklace, Grandma's.
00:05:29Does he think I came to North Pine just to latch on to a powerful family and chase status?
00:05:43That's Adrian Blackthrone, the future alpha of the North Pine pack.
00:05:46He hasn't been to school in forever.
00:05:48What's he doing here today?
00:05:52Who's that girl with him?
00:05:53Alpha, having you here is an honor for Thornhill.
00:05:57This is Selene.
00:05:58She's starting today.
00:05:59Please look after her, Professor of Honor.
00:06:01Of course.
00:06:02We'll make sure she gets the training she needs.
00:06:04Today is our monthly combat trials.
00:06:08Every student has to compete and have their combat skills ranked.
00:06:12Since you're officially enrolled, you have to participate too.
00:06:17What?
00:06:18The trials are today?
00:06:19I barely trained at all this month.
00:06:21Get your ranking up in this month's combat trials.
00:06:24If you come in dead last again, you can explain it to Father yourself.
00:06:28All right, all right.
00:06:29I heard you.
00:06:29Goddess.
00:06:30Goddess, I'll pick you up after school.
00:06:37Thank the goddess I didn't come in last.
00:06:40Maybe I can survive dad after all.
00:06:48And here I thought you were supposed to be impressive.
00:06:50You came from an alpha family.
00:06:52You're always buried in training manuals.
00:06:54And you practically live in the training hall.
00:06:57But look at that.
00:06:58Dead last in the entire academy.
00:07:01Even lower than me.
00:07:02And I never trained.
00:07:05Seriously though.
00:07:06Thanks.
00:07:07With you at the bottom, I'm not.
00:07:09Looks like I dodged dad's punishment this time.
00:07:15Adrian!
00:07:17I wasn't dead last in the combat trials this time.
00:07:20Someone else took the bottom spot.
00:07:23Her!
00:07:24She came from an alpha family.
00:07:26And still ranked last in the entire academy.
00:07:29If Father hears about this, she's seriously in for it.
00:07:34What happened?
00:07:37Aw, is the little princess about to cry?
00:07:40Because she came in last?
00:07:42I'm not crying.
00:07:44All right, all right.
00:07:46Lighten up.
00:07:46If Father really punishes you, I'll take it with you.
00:07:50We're in the same boat.
00:07:52Last and second to last.
00:07:53Have to stick together, you feel me?
00:07:56What?
00:07:57I'm just a nice guy, all right?
00:07:59Enough.
00:08:00Let's go home.
00:08:02It's one test.
00:08:03Coming in last isn't the end of the world.
00:08:08Holy shit.
00:08:10You actually know how to comfort someone?
00:08:13Mason!
00:08:14Second to last!
00:08:16Dad, calm down.
00:08:18We can talk this out.
00:08:19It's a pending that Fulier's current.
00:08:21Chasing me around isn't going to solve anything.
00:08:25Come on, Dad!
00:08:27My ranking went up.
00:08:29Doesn't that count as progress?
00:08:31Stop right there!
00:08:33No allowance this month.
00:08:36Hand over your car keys and your phone.
00:08:39My phone, too?
00:08:40You're grounded for a month.
00:08:42Every morning this week, 5 a.m., you're running with patrol.
00:08:47And this weekend, you're scrubbing every dog kennel at the training grounds.
00:08:55Wait!
00:08:55Why are you coming after me?
00:08:57I wasn't last this time.
00:08:58She was.
00:08:59Selene was.
00:09:00I came in second to last.
00:09:03Right.
00:09:04Seleline, honey.
00:09:06You've only been in North Pine for a few days, right?
00:09:09Starting school and taking the trials on your first day is a lot.
00:09:12Of course, you weren't used to it yet.
00:09:13Don't worry about the result.
00:09:15Exactly.
00:09:16You did your best.
00:09:17Come here, sweetheart.
00:09:19I just baked some cookies.
00:09:21Try one.
00:09:22You did your best?
00:09:24Is that what you said when I came in last?
00:09:27That's not the same.
00:09:28You've lived in North Pole for 20 years.
00:09:29She's only been here a few days.
00:09:31She came in last, and I came in second to last.
00:09:34I still beat her by one place.
00:09:36By one place?
00:09:37And you're actually bragging about that?
00:09:45Alpha, where's my mom?
00:09:46I haven't seen her.
00:09:48Breaking a mate bond takes a serious toll on the body.
00:09:51She's resting upstairs.
00:09:53The pack doctor checks on her every day.
00:09:56Don't worry.
00:09:57I'll take care of her.
00:09:59Sweetheart, where are the pearls I gave you?
00:10:01Why aren't you wearing them?
00:10:03I put them before the combat trials.
00:10:06They're so valuable, and I was afraid I might damage them.
00:10:12Bring me the keys to the red Thunderbird in the garage.
00:10:21Your late grandfather gave me this car.
00:10:24I've treasured it for most of my life.
00:10:26I never let anyone touch it.
00:10:30Starting today, it's yours.
00:10:36This is way too valuable.
00:10:38I can't accept it.
00:10:39Take it.
00:10:40Sitting in the garage, it means nothing.
00:10:43Giving it to a child I love gives it a purpose.
00:10:48And no more refusing.
00:10:53Wait.
00:10:56Are those the keys to the red Thunderbird?
00:10:58I've been begging you for 18 years!
00:11:01You never even let me sit in the passenger seat.
00:11:04Last week, I touched the steering wheel, and you chased me halfway across the estate like
00:11:08I was stealing the car!
00:11:09She's been here for two days, and now the car is hers?
00:11:13Dad confiscated my car today!
00:11:15That's not fair!
00:11:17Playing favorites?
00:11:18Absolutely.
00:11:19You're built like a damn bear, Grant.
00:11:21You'll survive.
00:11:22And don't even think about touching that car.
00:11:25It's hers now.
00:11:27Adrienne, take your sister to her room so she can rest.
00:11:38Selene, the Asheville family is here.
00:11:40They want to see you.
00:11:44I heard you came in dead last in Thornweald's combat trials.
00:11:48You clearly don't belong there.
00:11:50Give your spot to Maeve tomorrow.
00:11:52Maeve is better than you, and she deserves that spot more.
00:11:55Stop embarrassing yourself and give it to her.
00:11:57Rowan, don't pressure her.
00:11:59It's my fault for not being good enough to earn a spot of my own.
00:12:12If Dad asks, we'll say Selene did this to Maeve.
00:12:20You useless little brat.
00:12:22If Maeve ends up crippled because of this, it'll be all your fault!
00:12:29You were the ones who got Maeve hurt,
00:12:31but you blamed the whole thing on me.
00:12:33You're right.
00:12:34I'm not good enough.
00:12:36And I've embarrassed the family.
00:12:39I'll give her my spot.
00:12:40Good.
00:12:41At least you know your place.
00:12:43The spot is yours.
00:12:45Just focus on getting ready for school.
00:12:47Thank you, guys.
00:12:51First thing tomorrow morning,
00:12:52tell Eleanor you're giving up your spot.
00:12:54There is one more thing, though.
00:12:56I'm not sure what to do about it.
00:12:58What now?
00:12:59Eleanor has been incredibly generous.
00:13:01She said Maeve could attend Thornfield, too, if she wanted.
00:13:04She also gave me one extra spot
00:13:07for one of my brothers.
00:13:10Thornweald is the most prestigious academy
00:13:12for future alphas, betas, and gammas.
00:13:14People would do anything to get in.
00:13:16Then there's nothing to discuss.
00:13:17It has to be me.
00:13:18I'm the future gamma.
00:13:20I need Thornfield's training to get stronger.
00:13:22I'm the future alpha.
00:13:24By rank alone, that spot belongs to me.
00:13:28There's only one spot.
00:13:29Why don't you two work it out and let me know?
00:13:31What is there to work out?
00:13:33Why does Rowan always get everything first
00:13:35with nothing but brute strength?
00:13:38We'd only embarrass the Asheville family
00:13:41at Thornfield.
00:13:42Guys, please, don't fight.
00:13:45We're going home.
00:13:46We'll settle this there.
00:13:58All it took was one Thornfield spot
00:14:00to turn the Asheville brothers against each other.
00:14:03Now you can stand back,
00:14:04let them tear each other apart,
00:14:06and take whatever's left.
00:14:09That was clever.
00:14:10Adrian, I have no idea what you're talking about.
00:14:12They chose to fight over the spot.
00:14:14That has nothing to do with me.
00:14:15I only passed along Grandma's offer.
00:14:18I don't care what you do to the Asheville family,
00:14:20but hear me clearly.
00:14:21If any of your cheap little schemes
00:14:24hurt the North Pine pack,
00:14:26I'll make you regret it.
00:14:38Selene, the Asheville family has made its decision.
00:14:42Rowan and Maeve will be attending Thornfield.
00:14:44Got it.
00:14:50What's today's date?
00:14:51The 13th.
00:14:53Why?
00:14:55Where's Mason?
00:14:57Did he go out today?
00:14:59Yes.
00:15:00He left for Northridge with his friends at 11.
00:15:02He's competing in the winter run today.
00:15:21It's today.
00:15:23Mason's going to lose the use of his legs in the winter run.
00:15:28Mason, don't race!
00:15:30My wolf, Yara, smelled wolfbane.
00:15:32We don't smell anything.
00:15:33We inspected the course at sunrise.
00:15:34There was nothing unusual.
00:15:36The scent could be hidden
00:15:37under the pine resin and deer musk.
00:15:40You want everyone to cancel the race
00:15:42because your wolf caught some weird scent?
00:15:44You're just here to ruin the fun.
00:15:45Ignore her, Mason.
00:15:47Focus on the race.
00:15:47Get out of my way!
00:15:55Three, two, one.
00:16:07Mason, stop!
00:16:10Don't go left!
00:16:20I can't breathe!
00:16:24It's wolfbane.
00:16:27The wolfbane isn't affecting her.
00:16:47Selene.
00:17:06I'll call the patrol and a healer right now.
00:17:16Thank you for saving us.
00:17:18You need to start treating your sister better.
00:17:21You're all alive.
00:17:22That's all that matters.
00:17:24My family has been in the luxury watch business.
00:17:28I'm going to pick the finest watch in our collection
00:17:30and give it to you.
00:17:32And I'm going to forge you
00:17:33a hunting knife myself.
00:17:38But neither of you own me anything.
00:17:40There's one thing I don't understand.
00:17:42The wolf's plane forced all three of us
00:17:44back into human form.
00:17:45How did you stay shifted?
00:17:48Honestly, I don't know.
00:17:51Maybe Yara is just too weak.
00:17:53She can barely access any power when she shifts.
00:17:56So maybe there wasn't much
00:17:57for the wolf bee to suppress.
00:17:59Listen, I was an asshole to you.
00:18:00I thought you only came to North Porg
00:18:02and to use our family.
00:18:03I was wrong about you.
00:18:04You saved my life.
00:18:05I'm sorry.
00:18:06Apology accepted.
00:18:07Good.
00:18:08From now on,
00:18:09anyone who messes with you
00:18:10has to go through me.
00:18:13First.
00:18:15She just saved all three of us.
00:18:17Are you sure you're not the one
00:18:22who needs her protection?
00:18:25I'm already injured.
00:18:27Can't you let me sound tough
00:18:28for five seconds?
00:18:30Grandma,
00:18:31that cable was dragging me
00:18:33straight towards the cliff.
00:18:34The second the wolf bane hit,
00:18:35I shifted back
00:18:36and couldn't even stand.
00:18:38Then Selene charged into the gas
00:18:39like a giant white truck.
00:18:43You're making me sound
00:18:44as big as an actual truck?
00:18:46You were in wolf form.
00:18:48You looked awesome.
00:18:50Start from the beginning, Mason,
00:18:52and slow down.
00:18:56Selene.
00:18:57Selene warned us before the race,
00:18:59but we didn't listen.
00:19:00I took the left fork,
00:19:01stepped into a moonsilver trap,
00:19:02and almost got dragged off the cliff.
00:19:04She destroyed the winch
00:19:05and pulled me back.
00:19:06Then she ran into the wolf bane
00:19:07two more times
00:19:08and rescued my friends too.
00:19:10Is all of that true?
00:19:13More or less.
00:19:14Every word is true.
00:19:15I didn't exaggerate it
00:19:17once this time.
00:19:25You saved my grandson
00:19:27and his friends.
00:19:28The Northpean pack owes you
00:19:29a debt we can never repay.
00:19:31Grandma,
00:19:32you don't owe me anything.
00:19:33We're family.
00:19:48Adrian,
00:19:48what are you doing here
00:19:49this late?
00:19:50The servant only told you
00:19:52Mason was competing
00:19:53in the winter run.
00:19:56Yet you immediately
00:19:58rushed to Northridge
00:19:59like you already knew
00:20:01something
00:20:02would happen to him.
00:20:06Is this an interrogation,
00:20:07future Alpha?
00:20:10You think I set Mason up,
00:20:12put him in danger,
00:20:14and then rescued him
00:20:16just to win him
00:20:16and Grandma over?
00:20:20You're giving me
00:20:21way too much credit.
00:20:23Sally!
00:20:24Grandma just baked these.
00:20:27I saved some for you.
00:20:30Since when are you calling her
00:20:32Sally?
00:20:33I was an asshole before.
00:20:35I treated her like crap
00:20:36every chance I got.
00:20:37Our mom died when we were young
00:20:38and I hated dad's new mate.
00:20:40So I decided to hate
00:20:41her daughter too.
00:20:44But she saved me today.
00:20:46And I realized
00:20:47I had her all wrong.
00:20:48From now on,
00:20:48anyone who messes with her
00:20:49has a problem with me.
00:20:51Thank you, Mason.
00:20:54Want one, Adrian?
00:20:55I have things to do.
00:21:01Don't mind him.
00:21:02Our freezer has more warmth
00:21:03than that guy.
00:21:05Grandma's 65th birthday
00:21:06is coming up
00:21:07and dad is throwing
00:21:08this huge party.
00:21:09Pretty much every alpha
00:21:10in the area will be there
00:21:11along with all the
00:21:12rich pack sponsors.
00:21:14So, what are you getting her?
00:21:16I don't have much money.
00:21:17I can't afford anything nice.
00:21:18Yeah, I'm not exactly
00:21:19loaded either.
00:21:20My brothers can throw
00:21:21stupid amounts of money
00:21:22at a gift.
00:21:22I can't.
00:21:24What if I hunted
00:21:25a rare beast myself
00:21:26and used it to make
00:21:28Grandma a gift?
00:21:29That's a great idea.
00:21:30A vicious frosthorn
00:21:32has been roaming
00:21:32the mountains lately.
00:21:34Its hide is as hard as iron
00:21:36and its horns
00:21:37are sharp as blades.
00:21:38It has already killed
00:21:39several hunting parties.
00:21:51I don't know
00:22:08you.
00:22:15we were tracking this beast first and i was the one who spotted it it belongs to the ashville
00:22:20family why do you always have to take things from us why do you always have to compete with maith
00:22:25now you're even stealing her kill same old story i spent my entire last life giving in to them
00:22:35not anymore this time no one is taking what's mine
00:22:44where were you when i lured it up the slope and made it run straight off the cliff
00:22:49all you ever do is run your fucking mouths i bust my ass for everything and then you
00:22:54vultures swoop in and try to take it touch it go ahead fucking try me
00:23:06may have spotted it first and we chased it all the way over the ridge that frost one is ours
00:23:13seeing it first doesn't mean you killed it you didn't show up until it was already dead
00:23:19hunter forget it silly's always like this she has to turn everything into a scene
00:23:25i'm done letting her treat you like this we're taking that frost horn with us
00:23:32go ahead touch it see what happens
00:23:47everybody back off now who the hell are you cole captain of north poon pax border patrol
00:23:54this is ashville family business stay out of it you're standing on north pine territory
00:24:00that makes it our business
00:24:05only one set of tracks came in from the south
00:24:07suddenly drove the frost horn up the slope
00:24:10the frost horn broke through the snowpack in the middle of the fifth
00:24:14the tracks don't show up at the top until after it was already dead
00:24:17we were chasing it first
00:24:19then you lost it
00:24:20she finished the hunt on her own
00:24:22so the kill belongs to her
00:24:23they're just tracks
00:24:25they don't prove who found it first
00:24:26the kill belongs to whoever brings it down
00:24:29take your brother and get off north pick territory
00:24:31now
00:24:35i was being polite before
00:24:37keep pushing me and i won't be asking anymore
00:24:41you really think killing one monster for ellendor suddenly makes you a blackthorn
00:24:45she just feels sorry for you
00:24:47and not one of her grandsons actually sees you as family
00:24:50you've never even lived with north pine
00:24:52you sure seem to know an awful lot about them
00:24:55i've heard people talk that's all
00:24:57who told you
00:25:00stop twisting my words
00:25:05could you have it taken back to the estate
00:25:07please keep the hide intact and don't damage the horns

00:25:25forget who your real family is
00:25:27don't blame her
00:25:28celly found herself a richer stronger family
00:25:31of course she doesn't want anything to do with us anymore
00:25:33why stay with the family that raised her when she can play perfect little granddaughter for the blackthorns
00:25:39you ungrateful bitch
00:25:44hunter

00:26:14alpha adrian
00:26:16put the claws away

00:26:29under the blackthorn family's protection
00:26:31that's all you need to know
00:26:33in my last life i lived with northpean for years
00:26:35and not one of the blackthorn brothers ever treated me like family
00:26:38so why are they protecting selene like this
00:26:41like she actually belongs here
00:26:45this is impossible
00:26:46after the winter run accident
00:26:48mason lost the use of his legs
00:26:49he never walked again
00:26:51so how is he standing here like nothing happens
00:26:53what the hell changed
00:26:56since somebody here clearly doesn't know who they're dealing with
00:26:58selene why don't you introduce us properly
00:27:03this is adrian blackthorn future alpha of northpoone pack
00:27:05and this is mason blackthorn the youngest blackthorn son
00:27:08that's it
00:27:08the youngest son
00:27:09wow cold
00:27:11what did i say wrong
00:27:12you left out the most important part
00:27:14which is
00:27:17i'm your brother
00:27:17come on
00:27:18try it again
00:27:21mason is my brother
00:27:23there we go
00:27:24was that really so hard
00:27:25a little
00:27:26you'll get used to it little sis
00:27:28and just so we're clear
00:27:29i'm the favorite brother
00:27:30nobody asked
00:27:33so this is your plan
00:27:35move in with the strongest pack in the north
00:27:37suck up to a few blackthorns
00:27:38and suddenly you think you can dump your real family
00:27:40i didn't take anything from mayev
00:27:42mom let us choose where we wanted to go
00:27:44mayev chose to stay with ashen creek
00:27:46so coming to northpin wasn't actually her choice
00:27:48enough
00:27:49you're coming back to ashen creek with me tonight
00:27:51i'm not going back

00:28:32tell them hunter is your family
00:28:34he almost ripped my face open 30 seconds ago
00:28:37ashen creek raised you for 18 years
00:28:39we fed you
00:28:40clothed you
00:28:41put a roof over your head
00:28:42and now that you've latched onto a stronger pack
00:28:44none of us matter anymore
00:28:46right
00:28:48and every single time you gave me anything
00:28:50you made sure i knew i was less than mayve
00:28:52that nobody really cared about me
00:28:53and that somehow every bad thing that happened to her was my fault
00:28:59that's not fair
00:29:01maybe we weren't always good at showing it but we've always loved you
00:29:04love doesn't mean humiliating me over and over
00:29:06taking credit for everything i do
00:29:08and then telling me i'm worthless
00:29:09you ungrateful little
00:29:10starting today i'm done with ashen creek
00:29:13cellie
00:29:14don't say something you can't take back

00:29:19begging us to let you come home
00:29:21you've been jealous of mayve your whole life
00:29:22and you still are
00:29:23you can try as hard as you want
00:29:24but you'll never be her
00:29:25she's kinder than you
00:29:26and she's the one worth protecting
00:29:27so this is how her family has been treating her
00:29:30hunter don't waste your breath
00:29:32cellie's always been like this
00:29:34she can't stand seeing anyone have something better than she does
00:29:36hunter bought me this bracelet
00:29:38with his border patrol bonus
00:29:39he said since rowan and i are going to thornfield
00:29:41i deserve something special
00:29:44if there are two spots
00:29:46why did he give one of them to hunter
00:29:47he spent years risking his life on the border
00:29:49and he used his bonus on you
00:29:52did you ever even ask if he wanted to go to thornfield
00:30:01come near my sister again
00:30:02and next time adrian won't be the one you need saving from
00:30:05mason i'm not cold

00:30:13we're taking it back to the estate
00:30:17i spent years with north pine in my last life
00:30:21and the black men brothers barely even looked at me
00:30:23so why are they all protecting her
00:30:25why is everything changing
00:30:28perfect
00:30:29i want the hide taken off in one piece
00:30:31and turned into a wall hanging for gran
00:30:34clean up both horns too
00:30:35i'll have them made into a matching set
00:30:37nothing says happy birthday like hanging a dead snow tank over the fireplace
00:30:41very cozy
00:30:44i've only skidged smaller game before
00:30:46this thing's huge
00:30:47one bad cut and i ruin the whole gift
00:30:49how do people usually handle something this big
00:30:52come with me
00:31:01wait
00:31:03no tears across the back
00:31:05nothing through the ribs
00:31:07barely a mark anywhere else

00:31:11adrian got that on his first solo hunt
00:31:15oh
00:31:16then i take back everything i just said
00:31:19too late
00:31:20you can't take back a compliment once it's out there
00:31:22it wasn't a compliment
00:31:24a clean kill can still be dumb luck
00:31:29speak of the devil
00:31:31right on cue
00:31:32like the suspiciously hot villain in a horror movie
00:31:35sounds like you think you could do better
00:31:38adrian
00:31:40i need a favor
00:31:42are you asking me to teach you
00:31:44or asking me not to repeat what you just said at dinner
00:31:48both
00:31:4960-40
00:31:50mostly the teaching part
00:31:52i've got packed business to deal with
00:31:54i'm busy
00:31:57great i just pissed off the one guy in minnesota
00:31:59who knows how to skiv an armored refrigerator
00:32:00look on the bright side
00:32:01he didn't say he'd never teach you
00:32:03thorn one has an entire trophy restoration workshop
00:32:06the instructor there should be able to teach you
00:32:10then let's go

00:32:46two spots at thornfield
00:32:48tell them to open the gate
00:32:51i'm sorry
00:32:52what is that supposed to mean
00:32:54it means
00:32:55gran never enrolled either of you
00:32:57there was only one spot
00:32:58and it was mine
00:32:59i made the rest of it up
00:33:00you've been lying to us this whole time
00:33:02you made us come all the way out here
00:33:04just to humiliate us
00:33:06in front of everyone
00:33:08every morning before sunrise
00:33:10i was doing everyone's laundry
00:33:12cooking breakfast
00:33:13and cleaning your training gear

00:33:17dance
00:33:17pack history
00:33:18and etiquette lessons
00:33:19so one daughter got treated like a princess
00:33:21and the other one was basically your unpaid maid
00:33:23guess that's his big future alpha talent
00:33:25making seleni fix everything for him
00:33:31looks like i need to teach you a lesson seleni
00:33:43she doesn't owe either of you a spot
00:33:44and she sure as hell doesn't owe you an apology

00:34:02one these two will probably never get past the front gate to meet
00:34:11this is all my fault
00:34:12if i hadn't pushed so hard to get into thornwidge
00:34:15you wouldn't have been humiliated
00:34:17in front of all those people
00:34:18you're too soft on her
00:34:20that's why she thinks she can take advantage of you
00:34:24so what
00:34:26you just go home
00:34:28no
00:34:29we're going to north pine
00:34:30to see mom

00:34:39she still hasn't recovered from severing the mate bond
00:34:41the healer ordered her to rest
00:34:43and she's not seeing anyone
00:34:46alpha grant

00:34:54we won't let you down
00:34:55thank you alpha grant
00:34:56i can repair damage to a normal hide
00:34:58but i've never processed an entire frosthorn from scratch
00:35:02if i take this on
00:35:03i'd basically be practicing on your trophy
00:35:05fair enough
00:35:06thanks for being honest with me
00:35:15wow sally
00:35:16you really don't know when to quit do you

00:35:25so why are you going through all this trouble
00:35:27to suck up to him again
00:35:31i knew you'd come around
00:35:33once you cooled off
00:35:34you're giving yourself way too much credit
00:35:36roland's birthday is coming up
00:35:37you've always started working on his gifts months ahead of time
00:35:40i almost forgot
00:35:41roland's birthday is next month too

00:36:28our parents are mates
00:36:29but does he have a girlfriend
00:36:30i don't know
00:36:33what am i supposed to do
00:36:34sit him down and interrogate him about his entire personal life
00:36:38of course she can't answer
00:36:41she barely knows adrian
00:36:47feet shoulder width apart
00:36:48don't grip the bow so tight
00:36:49square your hips
00:36:51you're locking your arm
00:36:55i thought keeping it straighter
00:36:56would make my shot steadier
00:36:59drop your shoulder
00:37:01don't twist at the waist
00:37:04adrian
00:37:05let me mark our mate

00:38:23he must have slipped out before you locked everything down
00:38:25if we had someone sketch him
00:38:26could you recognize him
00:38:28maybe
00:38:29i remember his eyes
00:38:30that's enough
00:38:39you sounded so urgent on the phone
00:38:41i had to leave a very cooperative corpse on my autopsy table to get here
00:38:45it'll still be dead when you get back
00:38:47exactly
00:38:48that's what makes corpses so easy to work with
00:38:51so
00:38:52you're selene

00:42:03you did better than selene right
00:42:08i did fine
00:42:10too bad
00:42:12she ranked below me
00:42:16so you do well on one test
00:42:18and suddenly you think that gives you the right to humiliate your sister in front of everyone
00:42:22that's funny
00:42:23when i came in dead last
00:42:25all of you showed up at northpore
00:42:26told me i was an embarrassment to the family
00:42:28and tried to make me give my spot to may

00:42:35you're part of this family
00:42:37sometimes that means putting your family first
00:42:39not getting lucky on one test
00:42:40and using it to make your sister look bad
00:42:42stand up
00:42:43look your sister in the eye

00:58:14maeve you got us
00:58:15this is selene's fault
00:58:16if she hadn't pulled that little performance
00:58:18maeve never would have had to dance in the first place
00:58:20she knows maeve isn't in great health
00:58:22and she still turns everything into a competition
00:58:25she's vicious

00:59:24it was supposed to teach you to be more careful
00:59:26and stop making the same mistakes
00:59:29north pine is an ashen creek

00:59:36now they'll finally see
00:59:38that selene has always been the idiot
00:59:39who screws everything up
00:59:43what are you waiting for
00:59:44take it
00:59:45when i was seven
00:59:46maeve had her own writing tutor
00:59:47you said i was too stupid to learn
00:59:49so you wouldn't let me take lessons with her
00:59:51all i was allowed to do
00:59:52was clean her pens and ink bottles
00:59:54i was seven
00:59:56i'd never even touched a pen
00:59:57that expensive before
00:59:59i was just trying to wash the ink off
01:00:01i had no idea hot water could damage the parts inside
01:00:04it was an accident
01:00:06but you made me kneel in the snow
01:00:08and beat my palms bloody with that ruler
01:00:11my own brothers made damn sure
01:00:13i'd remember that lesson for the rest of my life
01:00:16she was seven
01:00:18my sister spilled ink everywhere at that age too
01:00:20and nobody ever beat her for it
01:00:23maeve got a private tutor
01:00:24while selene was only allowed to clean her pens
01:00:26and when one broke you beat a seven year old
01:00:28so what selene you think we were too hard on you
01:00:32you beat a kid over a pen
01:00:33and now you actually brought the ruler to a birthday party
01:00:36you people are pathetic
01:00:37this isn't ashen creek
01:00:39selene you could smash a fifty thousand dollar vase
01:00:41and nobody here would lay a finger on her
01:00:42exactly
01:00:45if selene broke a vase
01:00:47the first thing i'd ask
01:00:48is whether she was hurt
01:00:51the girls in this family are meant to be loved and protected
01:00:54we don't beat or humiliate them for making mistakes
01:00:58god
01:00:59you've been through more than enough
01:01:01no one will ever hurt you like that again
01:01:05adrian
01:01:11why is everyone in north pine so protective of selene
01:01:14and why isn't mason in a wheelchair
01:01:16could celeia have been reborn too
01:01:18i have to find out
01:01:22i thought you already left
01:01:24what are you doing back here
01:01:25i asked around
01:01:26during the winter run you saved three people including mason
01:01:30how did you know there was wolfbane planted along the course that day
01:01:33so she does suspect i was reborn too
01:01:38i happened to hear mason was racing so i went to watch
01:01:41when i got to the starting line
01:01:42yara picked up the scent of wolf bank underneath all the pine sip and deer scent
01:01:46mason didn't believe me and ran the race anyway
01:01:49a few minutes later the trap went off
01:01:51i got lucky and reached him in time
01:01:54so it really was just a coincidence
01:01:56before i moved to north pine you said dad and our brothers were destined for great things
01:02:02you sounded pretty damn sure
01:02:04mave what exactly do you know
01:02:06i can't tell her what's going to happen
01:02:08she'd just find a way to steal it all from me
01:02:10i just believe in my family
01:02:13that's something you've never been very good at
01:02:26adrian i'm curious why did you have a body delivered to my pack residence are you suggesting i sent him
01:02:30careful walsh i never said that the autopsy and scent records only show that the assassin came from michigan
01:02:35which happens to be part of ironclaw territory
01:02:37i figured whoever sent him would want such a loyal wolf returned home
01:02:42shame he had more loyalty than brains
01:02:46he got himself killed over a sloppy assassination attempt
01:02:51you're more merciful than i expected adrian
01:02:54if it were me enough there wouldn't have been enough of that assassin left to send home
01:03:00oh and for eleanor's birthday i had this wolf cast in solid gold two full pounds of it
01:03:05please see that she gets it wow two pounds of solid gold that's insane
01:03:11oh god he doesn't think i'm hiding down here staring at his crotch does he
01:03:15it would be rude to turn down such a generous birthday gift
01:03:19i'll make sure eleanor receives it
01:03:22then i'll leave you to it
01:03:30you can come out now
01:03:38hey adrian what were you doing under there i was just getting my phone i dropped it
01:03:47what are you doing out here in the first place
01:03:55why does he sound like he's interrogating a suspect every time he gets suspicious of me
01:04:01i was taking a walk thinking am i not allowed to do that
01:04:09anything else
01:04:12one more thing i didn't see anything while i was under the table so please don't get the wrong idea
01:04:24celine i'm leaving right now
01:04:31mason what are you reading what's so funny
01:04:34none of your business whatever keep your little secret
01:04:47what
01:04:47what asshole just
01:04:52adrian you're back this yours
01:04:56uh no it's selenny's she told me to read it said there was a lot i could learn from it
01:05:02right selenny
01:05:06ten bucks
01:05:10thirty
01:05:13easiest 30 bucks i've ever made mason obviously bought this behind adrian's back and doesn't want to
01:05:18get caught yeah it's mine i got it for five bucks at a used bookstore it's been through a lot
01:05:24of readers
01:05:26i didn't know you were into this kind of book
01:05:29yeah it's really intense honestly kind of inspiring
01:05:35inspiring
01:05:37the story really pulls you in lots of ups and downs
01:05:42lots of ups and downs technically she's not wrong
01:05:48no there definitely are a lot of ups and downs sometimes i even wonder what it'd be like to be
01:05:52the
01:05:52heroine the heroine of this book yeah celine you look so innocent i had no idea your taste for this
01:06:01i guess i really misjudged you what's that supposed to mean you're giving me too much credit
01:06:05no matter how much you enjoy marked by the alpha you might want to read it behind closed doors it
01:06:09could be pretty awkward if someone else saw you with it
01:06:16why is he acting so weird it's just a book how bad could it possibly be
01:06:31that's it for today one more thing before you go next month is thornfield's founders festival
01:06:37which we hold every three years the arts department will select the best calligraphy lettering and artwork
01:06:43from this semester to display in founders hall start getting your pieces ready class dismissed
01:06:51we're both going to get picked i don't know my penmanship isn't that good trust me
01:07:00you're going to graduate at the top of your class your handwriting will become famous all over the region
01:07:07everyone will copy it and women who've never even met you will be obsessed with you
01:07:12and you won't be the only one who gets a big break at the founders festival
01:07:15hunter will get his chance too do you trust me how could you possibly know that hunter's going to
01:07:23meet someone during the combat tryouts who will change his life that connection will get him into
01:07:27the pack council guard and from there his career will take off how do you know all of this so
01:07:31specifically don't ask how just trust me our family's luck is about to change come on
01:07:37the founders festival is almost here last life rowan and maver's work filled founders hall i couldn't even
01:07:44get a pen just insults this time the ashlands won't steal the spotlight and may's perfect future
01:07:52i'll tear it apart piece by piece morning gran
01:07:59mason tells me you've been practicing calligraphy lately yeah thornhill's founders festival is next
01:08:08month and the instructors are choosing a few pieces to display in founders hall i'm hoping mine gets
01:08:14picked i'm glad you're ambitious but are you sure you can learn it that quickly adrian is excellent at
01:08:21calligraphy adrian your schedule's pretty light right now give celly an hour a day and teach her
01:08:29grant it's settled
01:08:35your individual letters are okay but your slant spacing and pen pressure are all over the place
01:08:42you're rushing into full sentences too soon so what should i practice
01:08:47start with the basic strokes ovals up strokes down strokes and the connections between lowercase
01:08:54letters five pages a day for the next two weeks no full sentences yet
01:09:02i finished all of them take a look she didn't cut corners on a single page even the most boring
01:09:08drills
01:09:09she did everyone properly starting tomorrow you can go back to practicing words and sentences
01:09:15i've got a few books by different cantiligrafists pick a lettering style you like and copy one page a day
01:09:22okay
01:09:26you like that pen
01:09:30was it custom made for you yeah when my handwriting gets good enough do you think i could have one
01:09:37with my name on it too
01:09:41i was just asking i promise i'll bring them back in perfect condition
01:09:51come here yes sir contact the shop that made my pen my teacher said i've improved a lot they even
01:09:58picked my piece for the founders festival exhibit your strokes and structure are a lot more consistent
01:10:04you've made real progress thanks for teaching me all this time i got you some maple toffee
01:10:10mason said you like it you think one bag of chandy makes up for all those things you used to
01:10:15think
01:10:15about me i misjudged you i thought you were only being polite while secretly keeping your guard up
01:10:20around me now i know you're actually a really good person polite on the outside secretly suspicious of
01:10:26you okay bad judgment on my part you're great at leading patrols your calligraphy is amazing you're
01:10:33basically impossible to criticize grant told me to teach you now that you've got the basics down
01:10:38consider this one last gift
01:10:46this is for me didn't you say you want to depend with your own initials on it
01:10:52you're so good yeah thank you
01:11:03rowan can you teach me
01:11:09get lost
01:11:12in this life i finally don't have to stand on the sidelines looking up to them anymore
01:11:17you came to see rowan's in my work at your level you'll probably never get anything displayed in
01:11:21here i haven't even said anything why are you so eager to jump to conclusions
01:11:32celine no way somebody had to write this for you
01:11:39what's going on here
01:11:42sir celine couldn't even handle basic calligraphy assignments before
01:11:45there's no way she wrote this
01:11:47north plain must have pulled strings and taken a spot from a student who actually deserved it
01:11:51i grew up with her i know exactly what her handwriting used to look like
01:11:54she's only been at north porn for a few months there's no way she improved this fast
01:11:58she had someone else write it for her
01:12:00you say someone else wrote it do you have any proof
01:12:02you never seriously practiced before that's proof enough
01:12:05that's just your assumption if i prove i wrote it myself will both of you apologize to me in public
01:12:10you're not sure but we're not wrong and don't even think about getting mason to lie for you
01:12:15my witness isn't mason it's adrian
01:12:20i taught her myself i watched her practice every day and saw every correction she made
01:12:25you trained her personally that explains why the structure is so polished
01:12:28roland mave time to apologize even if she wrote it herself that doesn't prove north pine didn't
01:12:35rig the selection for her roland's work has always gotten more attention than almost anyone else's here
01:12:39if celine hadn't taken his spot how could he possibly have been left out if you're that sure roland
01:12:44and i can do a live competition let the chairman judge for himself a live demonstration would settle
01:12:49this pretty clearly if you lose you write out a confession that you cheated sign it and post it
01:12:55on the announcement board don't push it fine if i win you and roland sign a statement admitting you
01:13:02accused me in public without any evidence deal
01:13:20selena's technique still isn't perfect but her structure is clear and she already has a style of
01:13:24her own rowan strokes are rushed and the overall piece lacks control the result is obvious how did
01:13:28your handwriting get this bad this is how i've always written you're the one who insisted on the
01:13:32competition in my last life i was the one who begged the best tutor to teach him and made sure
01:13:39he practiced every single day that's how he built that reputation without me why should he get to enjoy
01:13:45all the credit skill can be trained integrity is what tells me whether someone deserves to lead
01:13:53you accused a classmate without evidence and still refuse to take responsibility with that kind of
01:13:58judgment i won't recommend you for thorndown's leadership program
01:14:05maybe let's go not so fast you haven't held up your end of the deal
01:14:11selene fine i was wrong this time but you've been practicing with adrian and never told us
01:14:17you didn't have to deliberately make us look stupid you never asked somehow you still managed to
01:14:21blame me for every choice you make sorry happy now you agreed to sign a public statement i'm as
01:14:30in creek's future alpha i'm not signing something that could ruin my reputation funny you didn't seem
01:14:38worried about reputations when you were trashing selene's apparently it's only too far when you're the
01:14:43one facing consequences we apologized what else does she want you made the bet you made the accusation
01:14:50everyone here saw what happened and i don't need to chase you around trying to prove anything anymore
01:14:58they always treated you like this
01:15:02that's in the past now
01:15:06thank you for today
01:15:09you've been thanking me a lot lately
01:15:12so how do i pay you back
01:15:18you can owe me i'll tell you when i think of something little sis
01:15:31you have to win the combat tryouts this afternoon we can't let them take another opportunity from
01:15:35you this is wolf bait powder mixed with a sedative if you can't beat mason throw it at him when
01:15:39he gets
01:15:39close that's not a fair fight if you don't win how is the former council watch commander supposed to
01:15:47notice you as long as you're the one left standing
01:16:01hunter don't give him an opening
01:16:06hunter's going through his strength mason's waiting for him to make a mistake
01:16:33you jump into the middle of the match and i'm the one cheating for mason
01:16:40he inhaled wolfsbane mixed with a sedative
01:16:44search him
01:16:46he used a banned substance during an official match we've got the evidence get the council
01:16:50enforcers get off me rowan help me i didn't even lose what are you crying for
01:16:58i don't care who wins i just need you to be okay
01:17:09if hunter tells them i gave him the powder they'll investigating me too no i have to make
01:17:14sure he keeps his mouth shut hunter just got dragged off for questioning and you're seriously
01:17:19just leaving he used wolf spawn on mason just to win why would i make excuses for him hunter grew
01:17:24up
01:17:24with you how long have you even known mason you're so desperate to impress northville that you don't
01:17:27care about your own family anymore because people at northville respect me and they've protected me
01:17:32over and over hunter chose to hurt mason i'm not covering for him i don't care who wins a match
01:17:37i
01:17:37care whether mason walked away safe luckily mom talked grant into helping hunter only got disqualified
01:17:42and spent one day in council custody hunter i gave you the powder you can't tell dad or roland i
01:17:47don't
01:17:47want them blaming me for this you see me after all that and the first thing you care about isn't
01:17:51whether
01:17:52i'm hurt it's whether you're going to get dragged into this i did it for you did you tell them
01:17:56it was
01:17:57me no hunter made one bad decision he's always looked up to you please give him one more chance
01:18:07first i've already decided to train mason i'm not taking anyone else second hunter used drugs in an
01:18:12official match i don't tolerate that kind of conduct and third he's the one who supposedly wants this
01:18:17opportunity but you're the one standing here asking for it you can go hunter was the one the
01:18:24commander chose in our last life you were reborn too weren't you are you under too much stress or
01:18:28something i have no idea what you're talking about this is your fault mason stole your opportunity and
01:18:37you don't even care i never wanted to join the council guard in the first place how did he steal
01:18:41anything
01:18:41from me you're at the bottom of your class if you don't join the guard what else are you going
01:18:45to do
01:18:45with your life so that's what you really think of me i'm just a loser to you wait
01:18:56my leg dad hunter's blaming me for everything that happened at the match he's even saying i'm
01:19:02the reason he got hurt i have no idea why he'd say that you still expect me to cover for
01:19:06you
01:19:06she's the one who gave me the wolfbane powder look at my leg and she hasn't even asked if i'm
01:19:10okay
01:19:11maybe you're the one who told him to use it i was just trying to help him get his chance
01:19:14if everything went wrong that's because he couldn't handle it
01:19:20i'm standing here on crutches mason was out of it for a few minutes and saline was crying over him
01:19:23and all you care about is whether you get exposed i should have tried to stop saline from leaving
01:19:27or i had the chance hunter's useless to me now but dad and roland still have a future i can
01:19:31save
01:19:32dad roland i saw the future again after fallen warriors memorial day there's going to be a major
01:19:37flood across the ascent creek region dad if you prepare a floodcation and recovery plan now and
01:19:43submit it to the pack council after the flood hits you'll earn a place in their inner circle rowan
01:19:46can stockpile food before supplies run short sell it at a huge march and make the money he needs to
01:19:50start his business empire you said my work would get selected and hunter would impress the commander
01:19:54neither of those happen are you sure about this one roland this time i'm sure trust me salaya changed
01:19:58the outcome the last few times but a flood is a natural disaster she can't change that stockpiling that much
01:20:03food is going to take a lot of money mortgage the property in the timberland if we already know
01:20:07what's coming we can't waste this opportunity
01:20:13two weeks after fallen warriors memorial day days of heavy rain will hit at the same time as the
01:20:18mountains snow melt the rivers will flood re the channels several pack territories if we clear the
01:20:22channels reinforce the leadies and bring in food from the south now we can keep the damage to everything
01:20:26on the map this affects the safety of several packs i can't move that many people and supplies based on
01:20:32a few words it's going to snow tonight it's late may and the forecast says there's no chance to snow
01:20:36if i'm right please trust me on this all right i'll wait with you i kept my guard up around
01:20:45you
01:20:45because north bean has a lot of territory and influence plenty of people would love to tear us
01:20:49apart from the inside i couldn't allow an unknown risk inside my own home so when mom and i first
01:20:53got
01:20:53here i was your biggest risk you were but now i know you're not a risk you're one of us
01:21:04adrian look
01:21:08tomorrow i'll send patrol teams to clear the river channels and reinforce the leadies
01:21:11i'll also warn the other packs to prepare evacuation routes and supplies
01:21:14even if there's only a 10 chance you're right i'm not gambling with people's lives
01:21:20once the other territories run out of food i'll sell this for 10 times the price
01:21:24this one deal could change everything for me my flood control and recovery plan is ready once the flooding
01:21:28is over i'll submit it to the pack council that council seat is as good as mine
01:21:32this time selena can't steal our future from us
01:21:49the levees held and everyone in the low-lying areas got out ahead of time
01:21:53celly we couldn't have done this without you and because you trusted me enough to prepare early
01:21:57nobody lost their home
01:22:01we've got plenty of food in town and this stuff is water damaged who's going to pay double for that
01:22:10we mortgaged the property and the timberland if we can't sell this food we lose everything it was you
01:22:16you were reborn too you warned northville about the flood because you wanted to steal our opportunity
01:22:20what are you talking about now
01:22:24and all of you are useless too in our last life dad only got into the pack council because he
01:22:30took
01:22:31selene's flood control and evacuation plan roland only became top of his class and a wealthy
01:22:36businessman because she found him the best tutor and helped run his business and hunter only made
01:22:41it into the council guard because she begged the commander to train him so all those futures you
01:22:45promised us none of it was actually ours without her you're nothing you knew all of this and still
01:22:53talked me into mortgaging everything we owe don't pretend you're some loving father now in our last
01:22:59life on the day of her mate ceremony you forced her to step aside so i could become the high
01:23:03alpha
01:23:03heir's mate and then you killed her yourself enough let's go i don't want to look at them anymore
01:23:14selene genuinely wanted all of us to have better lives and we treated everything she did like we
01:23:19were entitled to it even when she asked me at founder's hall what proof i had that she cheated all
01:23:23i cared about was protecting me and in the end we killed her with our own hands what the hell
01:23:29did we do
01:23:34your payment is due if you can't pay we're taking possession of the property in timberland today
01:23:39just give us time to sell the food northburn already brought in more than enough supplies
01:23:44nobody wants your water damaged food and the pack council found that everland abandoned his
01:23:49territory during the storm and hoarded supplies for profit they've stripped him of his alpha status
01:23:54and opened a formal investigation we need to find selena we have to apologize maybe she can
01:24:00still help us fix this celly may have told us everything i finally know how much you did for
01:24:07ashen creek in your last life and what we did to you in the end if you hadn't found me
01:24:11that tutor and
01:24:12helped build my business i never would have had any of the success in my last life and i never
01:24:16would
01:24:16have made it into the council guard if you hadn't convinced the commander to train me selene we were
01:24:19wrong all of us come home with us if you can forgive us i swear i'll spend the rest of
01:24:24my life making it up to
01:24:25when you had your territory your status and your future none of you gave a damn about me now that
01:24:29you've lost everything suddenly you want me back you don't even have a place to live anymore
01:24:33dad is under investigation by the pack council could you ask alpha grant to put in a word for us
01:24:38so that's why you're really here in my last life i gave all of you everything i had and every
01:24:44one of you
01:24:44drove a blade into me this time everything that's happened to you came from your own choices
01:24:52i'm not saving you and i'm not forgiving you
01:25:01you actually came here to beg her

01:26:53i want to really know you in my last life i gave everything i had to the wrong people
01:26:57i thought if i was good enough to everyone at ashen creek they'd eventually love me like family
01:27:01it took the day of my mate ceremony for me to realize how wrong i was
01:27:04you're almost 18. gran wants to know if you'd be open to meeting a few eligible young wolves
01:27:12tomorrow i'll send patrol teams to clear the river channels and reinforce the lettuce
01:27:19yeah
01:27:24who doesn't matter just because i like him doesn't mean he feels the same way
01:27:30whoever he is forget him i can't exactly go my whole life without choosing a mate
01:27:36then what about me i noticed you the first time you met i kept my distance after that not because
01:27:41i
01:27:41hated you because i was afraid you'd become my weakness but you kept protecting people at north
01:27:45and every time you did i saw more of who you really were the harder i tried to keep my
01:27:50distance the
01:27:51deeper i fell so you've liked me since the first time we met yes too bad i already like someone
01:27:58else
