00:00It's probably like 30 different watches, smart rings, bands, just in this drawer right here.
00:05So I have two Aura rings right now, and then I have a Fitbit, the new Fitbit Air, and then
00:10the Garmin Circa,
00:11and then the Whoop on this arm, so there's three.
00:14There's an invisible one as well?
00:16Exactly, and then just the Apple Watch on this side.
00:19When every choice becomes a data point, from sleep to heart rate variability,
00:22some question whether all that information ultimately does more harm than good.
00:27Has there ever been a time where you sat there and were like, oh, I have too much data?
00:31Always. For me specifically, like, do you really need to be wearing five, six devices? No.
00:35And I think there was one point where I was wearing two, like I was wearing an Apple Watch on
00:39a Whoop,
00:39and people were like, why are you wearing two watches?
00:41And now it seems like it's become more common where I see other people wearing two devices,
00:45and I guess I've become the guy who wears six devices.
00:47So many people think if I buy XYZ, you know, this gadget, this fitness tech is going to make me
00:53fit.
00:54Buying anything is not going to change your behavior.
00:56If we use the data to influence how we feel, then we forget how we feel,
01:00and I think how we feel is the biggest metric for how that day is going to go.
