00:00My parents weren't too busy to notice.
00:02I grew up in a very busy home where we were meant to be seen and not heard as children.
00:08And the day that I told my mother what had happened to me by just one cousin,
00:15not all four of them, just one,
00:18she said I was a liar and that I am an embarrassment to my family.
00:22So I shut up.
00:25Cousin number three took everything from me.
00:28I trusted him so much, like a second big brother.
00:32He began to me at the age of 11.
00:35And as he me, he also told me to take inappropriate pictures of myself
00:42in very inappropriate positions.
00:45I feared men unbelievably.
00:48I found my love for dance at the age of six years old.
00:53I was dancing, waiting for someone to ask me,
00:56are you okay?
00:57How come you don't like sitting on men's locks anymore?
01:00But no one asked me for years.
01:02I never knew why when I looked in the mirror, I saw this ugly image.
01:08I thought I was damaged to a point where I had two attempts before the age of 14.
01:15And although I still have distortion and I'm still going through trauma therapy
01:20and I'm still in narrative therapy now.
01:24And narrative therapy is something I want everyone to try out if you're gone through trauma.
