00:00Is there something the Yankees have as a team in their favor at this point of the season that the
00:07Knicks maybe didn't have? Well, the one thing the Yankees have is they still have plenty of time in
00:12the season to actually catch the Rays and get the number one seed. And look, in the baseball
00:16playoffs, you know, getting a bye in the first round of the playoffs is huge. It allows you to
00:21save your rotation until the ALDS. You know, if you're messing around in the wild card series
00:27like the Yankees did last year with the Red Sox, all of a sudden, maybe you're starting
00:30the ALDS with your number four starters, setting your number one. So there's a lot of things
00:35to be gained from winning that number one seed. And while at a relative point of the NBA season,
00:40the Knicks already conceded the one seed in the East to the Pistons. And of course, that
00:44didn't wind up battering because they wound up not playing each other. The Yankees still
00:48have that as a possibility. They're only five games behind the Rays for first place, and
00:53they have four games ahead of them starting three weeks from today. So if you can narrow
00:57that gap, and I think the Yankees' schedule is a little more favorable in the Rays between
01:01now and then, and maybe make a push then, it's going to be enormous because you saw last
01:05year, look, I mean, the number one seed really helps because you not only get the extra game
01:09at home, but you're able to sit up to where you're absolutely ready to go for game one of
01:13that series. And that's an enormous benefit. So that's what the Yankees still have ahead
01:17of them, but the Knicks really had conceded by this point in their season.
